Guest Reviews
- Zoe (9/5): Excellent stay - Excellent location, easy to walk into town, free secure parking, well equipped with washer and dryer and dishwasher, spacious, well furnished. It was really handy that there were a few toiletries and staples in too Would be great to have a recycling bin and a couple of cushions for the sofa
- Christine (10/5): Perfect place for a couple to spend time visiting Yellowknife - It was a lovely one bedroom apartment. Perfect for two people. It was so nice to have our own kitchen to use. It was easy to walk just about anywhere in downtown Yellowknife from our place. We liked everything
- Larry (9/5): Very good. - Very little.
- Roger (8/5): Friendly communication from the host, Jean, made the stay great. - The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of hot water at a consistent temperature and pressure. The towns power went out for 4.5 hours on the first day, the host was very helpful and communication was good.
The street has daytime metered parking but there is tenant parking out back, accessed by a back alley. (see photo) It is a basement flat so obviously there are people above you, we had a group upstairs pounding feet and cooking bizarre smelling food.
Our stay was 5 nights, unavoidable in order to secure a screaming deal on the airfare. Got a little claustrophobic after 3 nights, luckily Yellowknife came out of its winter freeze during our stay and we were able to escape outside.
As mentioned by a previous poster, the baseboard heaters click as they activate and expand with fluid, it means the heat is working, that's a good thing, didn't bother us.
- Angel (9/5): Superb - Everything was as expected and similar to the photos. Weird Noises coming from upstairs, not the best for sentitive sleeper.
- Yt (10/5): Last minute trip extension for the Aurora, if not I never know such a splendid Airbnb is around downtown. - You have everything you need in a house right here, if you need to cook up a meal, just get your ingredients and get cooking get away. There’s a bed in room and sofa bed in front of the tv. Wifi is super fast, you can airplay from your phone or just stream online seamlessly. HOMEOWNER SUPER NICE. Some sounds on and off likely the water in the piping or the snow but is not a big issue unless you are a really light sleeper. Yellowknife got tons of activities day and night, do them all and make yourself tired!
- Cochise (10/5): Exceptional -
