• Blanca (10/5): Wonderful family holiday - We stayed at a beautiful home in Brighton East for a family vacation over Easter, and it was such a memorable experience. We were looking for a change of scenery, and this place delivered perfectly. The house was incredibly spacious with plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. The pool and ping pong table were such fun additions, they really made the stay feel extra special. It was also amazing that our fur babies were welcomed too, which made the trip even more enjoyable for the whole family. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating throughout our stay, making everything smooth and stress-free. We truly appreciated everything. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely stay again!

The outdoor space was stunning, sunshine oozing into every space, the timber heavy architechture was beautiful! Wha a beautiful home for a weekender. Very generous floor plan and a lovely outdoor setting. 10/10 stay! I couldn’t find tea towels or oven mitts for getting things out of the oven. Minor 1%’s
• Jack (10/5): - This was a perfect house for me and a group of my friends to stay at. It is a huge property, and the outdoor space (especially the pool and BBQ) was exceptional. We also loved the A/C in the hot Melbourne weather!
• familyholidayer (10/5): Great place to stay! - House was located in a beautiful street, around the corner from coffee and bakery shops and close drive to town for further shopping. Played golf which was only a 5 min drive and went down to the beach which was also a short 5 minute drive. Lovely house and easy access. Beds were comfy and owners were easy to deal with. Highly recommend for groups of friends and families. Nothing was unliked on the trip :)
• jillian (10/5): Highly recommend staying here as it is great value for money - The property was very large and well kept. The neighbourhood was a good, safe and quiet neighbourhood . At first I was apprehensive about such a large security deposit, however I believe it is fair for the size of the property and the facilities that are included. I also got this deposit back at the end of my stay as the hosts were very fair.
• Miroslav (1/5): DOBT BE FOOLED BY THE SCAMMERS - I didn’t like anything about this property. $1000 deposit that you have to chase up for 5 days after you check out. Worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life. Dirty bongs, condoms, all around in rooms, heater doesn’t work freezing cold old place, no ping pong table as advertised. The host very rude and not helpful. Still no deposit as they are trying to steal from me and charge me for something so they can earn. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Don’t be fooled by those scammers.

What really stood out was how responsive and helpful the host was - any question or enquiries i had were answered quickly and kindly, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. They even checked in during my stay to make sure i had everything i needed, which was a thoughtful touch. The neighbourhood was peaceful, and the house had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. • Shadbolt (3/5): Not a "Luxurious 5-bedroom house" as advertised - The house is advertised as "Luxury" and this is NOT accurate. Lucky we were only there to really sleep the night as we were attending a wedding in the area. If I had hired this house with a big group with the intention of having a luxurious weekend stay I would be extremely disappointed. The beds are not well made with cheap bedding. The kitchen facilities are lacking and the backyard area is very overgrown and not maintained. The pool was green and dirty. Outdoor seating / table weren't set up and were very dirty also. The whole property is not well maintained at all.

• Tristan (2/5): Disappointing - They took an $800 deposit which they haven't sent back or replied to any messages. Left the house In a respectable way doing what they said (rubbish, dishes etc). Also asked for more money day before I checked in saying booking.com has the cleaning price wrong and could I send them the $100 before I check in. On the day they didn't send the check in information so couldn't check in and was at the house waiting/ calling them with minimal reply from 6pm when I got there.

Keys will be handed over only if you pay and if the funds clear at the hosts end. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience with calls back and forth with the owner and booking.com. Booking.com was not much of help either. We had to pay up.
• Allison (1/5): The worst place I’ve ever stayed. - Absolutely nothing! Warning!!! Do NO book! What the other review in July said was 100% accurate & honest so please do not believe the host when they say that it is a fake review. When I arrived, I couldn’t get through to the owner/host for over an hour and contacted customer service for Booking.com and after another 20 minutes the host rang me back. He refused to give me the access door code until I paid (pay ID) a cleaning fee of $100 (which he said Booking.com incorrectly forgot to put on there ) and an $800 deposit fee which was clearly not put in any of the information on Booking.com and he also asked me for a copy of my license. What a joke! Super dodgy! After contacting customer service at Booking.com again (which took another 30 minutes) I did not have to do any of it and was finally given the door code. The house is freezing cold with only 2 very old portable heaters in all of the large living areas, very dated, the bed had a burn mark and other stains, the walls had patched up marks where a television had been obviously stolen and possibly fists have gone through, there was only one television in the house which was in the lounge with no antenna connected and the remote wasn’t working (even after I changed the batteries with my own), the curtains were missing in the bedrooms and there were minimal utensils in the kitchen which were all filthy, there was a water leak in the bathroom from the sink and the place was filthy overall. Horrible experience !!!

Property owner didn’t answer customer service calls and canceled our stay last minute.

• Sahiba (10/5): Exceptional - The property was huge and very beautifully decorated, the bedrooms were super cute as well. The backyard was my favourite part with the deck. We really liked staying back. The host was actually super sweet and cooperative which was the best part. Maybe the pool could have been cleaner, but understandable since it’s so cold now, and we didn’t really use it anyway, but it’s a really cute pool. Might come back for a stay during the summers and enjoy the pool too

• Adhikari (1/5): Very bad - Nothing The worst properties i had ever stay. They asked me to early check in but when we were there the room were so filthy we had to stay out. The property were no where near clean the way it is shown in picture. The bed were broken. we booked for 10 people but two had to sleep in the sofa. They didnt ask for the bond fees before we enter but as we reached there he asked me 800 because we were young. The bond was never the problem but he didnt return my money until i said i would give him a good review. We literally had to refill the gas for bbq. It is not supposed to be filled by customer. We have to stress about every thing.

Additionally, he also texted us at 0:45 requesting us to put music down but at that time we already went to bed and no one played any music for even one minute at the entire night. After we checked out, he called us alleging his washing machine is broken. However, we did not even use that machine. The house is not clean and the bed smelled weird. Super bad experience! Every aspect.

It was very far from luxury

• Lisa (5/5): It was comfortable, but needs work if they want happy customers - The beds were amazingly comfortable and the owner tried to be very helpful The gardens were an absolute mess which made the arrived and stay quite disappointing. Very very used and cheep dishes / pots pans / and general items not available eg. No small plates, pots all burnt out, 1 small Trey for the oven -huge lack of kitchen items. There is only 1 tv in the whole home and it doesn’t even have standard channels available so my parents could watch the news - only Netflix available. Talks broken and not working - my step mother actually burnt herself because the cold tap didn’t work in the bathroom. The “outdoor bbq area was thilthy, and although the owners tried to assist by sending a cleaner to fix it air we could cook, they did a terrible job so it was still unusable Blinds broken upstairs so we had to hang a blanket over the window . These are things you do not expect when booking a property of this price - it would be better if they did a little work to improve the property to bring it to standard.

This is a bad experience - Have a ping-pong table to spend fun time with your family The check-in time was 2:00 p.m., when I called the landlord to tell him that I might arrive a little earlier, he said that it was OK but he would charge a fee, we said that we would not necessarily arrive early, but if we could check in early, we would be willing to pay. When we arrived (2:00 p.m.), he said that he had not finished cleaning and waited outside for half an hour before letting us in, which was a bad feeling with no integrity.
