• Laura (10/5): Perfect weekend away - We had a lovely stay over the weekend. Great location just outside of town, conveniently close to everything you need but with ample privacy. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the birdlife and feeding the cows. Would love to come back in the cooler months and really make use of the bonfire. Instructions were clear, beds were very comfortable, house was well appointed and has everything you need.

• Sandra (10/5): Sensational! beautiful home and property - A beautiful home and property, it has been beautifully renovated keeping old charm with the modern. We were very comfortable with all the extra touches, the home was clean and stocked with everything we needed including bread in the freezer to feed the cows 🐄 and seed to feed the geese 🪿 and ducks 🦆 Lovely deck overlooking the dam and property on both sides of the house. Karl was amazing with keeping in contact about the impending storm and power outage, even checking in the following morning, the customer service was exceptional. We wish we had stayed longer, planning next stay with friends next year.

• Andrea (10/5): Love it! Love it! Love it! - We had such a fantastic stay at Kala. Our 2 week stay at the property was so good, it was hard for us to leave. Our host was really easy to deal with and we were provided with everything we needed. Karl even threw in a bottle of bubbly for my birthday! The cottage was really nicely presented, the kids loved their own space downstairs with the Nintendo and loved feeding the Cows and Geese. The outdoor board games are really fun. Having a wine in the heated tank pool watching the sun go down in the afternoon was great, especially with some amazing sunsets. Thanks again to host Karl and caretaker Mick, will definitely be back! Nothing not to like!

• Barry (9/5): If you want somewhere to get away from city life and enjoy a taste of country living in comfort, this is it - Great location, settled in nice country area, fire pit was wonderful to sit around at night. Plunge pool was good to soak in. Enjoyed feeding the cows and geese. This was our 2nd visit, can’t really fault it, great place for kids and adults alike. Plenty of space to run around and play.

Had a lot of wonderful „ old house” features like stove and kitchen cupboar - Excellent and very relaxing stay, feels like home away from home. Highly recommend for families, lots of space and just so cosy and pleasant. Bed in the bedroom next to the toilet needs to be checked as gave loud clank whenever person sleeping in it moved(not the best for the light sleeper ) otherwise very comfortable bed.

The fire pit was inviting & SO LARGE to accommodate all the family with benches & stumps surrounding it. The cows & geese were friendly. Sunsets are every photographer's dream. 3 decent sized bedrooms The front verandah is huge The lawn is manicured to perfection. The dogs just had the time of their lives running around, at night time they were exhausted The teenagers loved the spa Plenty of other sleeping arrangements available if all the beds are taken. The family wants to re book in the future This home will not disappoint Thank you Karl for giving us a wonderful home to make so many lasting cherished memories No one wanted to leave 😊 If the council fixed the dip in the road to the left as you are leaving the property. You can not see the traffic if some one is in that dip & travelling fast
