Guest Reviews
- Leonardo (1/5): the final boss - i cuscini erano comodi posto sporchissimo, secrezioni sul muro in bagno, doccia macchiata e pavimento della struttura tutto macchiato
- Anthony (8/5): -
- David (4/5): - Bedding was clean, as far as I can tell. The photos on booking.com is deceiving. The reviews are better to judge on looking back. The tap in the basin in the bathroom is broken. Need to wash your hands in the kitchen sink.
The carpets are very off putting and full of stains. Lounge chairs not clean. That sort of sets the tone for the rest of the stay and makes it hard to see something good.
Suppose that saying .. get what you pay for is true.
- Anthony (9/5): -
- narra (1/5): There was absolutely no cleanliness and doesn't match the description of the property displayed. - The location The description did not mention that the washroom has to be shared and the rooms were very close and were not sound proof.
- Laurita (2/5): -
- Stacy (1/5): - Nothing. All of it. Walked into the room. Walked back out.
- Anthony (8/5): Fair enough 😅 -

- Delwyn (8/5): - The self-check-in process was done smoothly and the staff explaining the process was very clear with instruction.
I enjoyed my overnight stay and the place was close to where my meeting is just a walking distance. It was perfect and for sure I will come back if I have an overnight stay in Brisbane again.
- Tyler (10/5): -
- David (1/5): Stressful - Unable to gain entry to property Unable to gain entry
- Mark (2/5): - Needs a bloody good clean and tidy up from front door to back. Very run down.
- Warren (3/5): - Close to gabba Toilet didn't stop running and shower needs fixing. Bathroom was ordinary. Whole place needs some love.
- Burley (8/5): - Its an awesome place B&B house Nothing 😃
- Burley (8/5): - The access and position and the price No water access thru handbasin in wet areas the single taps are not fitted correctly also no washing machines or tv sets
- Mario (1/5): À ne plus aller. - Rien ne fonctionne Tout rien n’est accessible! Robinet qui ne marche pas pas de Clim toilette qui coule toute la nuit très sale
- Burley (7/5): -
- Darren (3/5): Lucky I only needed somewhere to sleep. - very close to the Gabba oval. smoke alarm going of ever 15mins or so.
bathroom was a disgrace.
no water to the bathroom vanity.
no air conditioning.
no parking.
Paid $882 for 2 nights, when accommodation is normally about $90 per night.
- Harold Ray (5/5): Since it's cheap I considered it fair. - Price and Location was great. Shared bathroom. No AC.
- Mathias (4/5): I thought it was an apartment until I showed up there and it literally looked like a junk yard no offence the prices are - Roommates were cool quiet place Carpet stains, towel stains, no tv, no washing machines,
- Dhimuthu Dinusha (2/5): Bathroom is very bad and very poor quality, not a good place to stay with kids. - Nothing Everything
- Steve (2/5): Worst i have ever seen. - It was dry if it had rained Everything its a scam.
- Steve (3/5): -
- Gary (6/5): Great location for after the cricket. - Fine. Tea coffee, bread & peanut butter toasted, thumbs up. Cleaner bath.

- Fang (1/5): - There was a disgusting smell when I entered the hotel. It was uninhabitable at all. It made me look for a hotel again at night. It was a waste of my time and money. It was very unclean. The store did not indicate that there was no air conditioning. It was impossible to stay in the summer. Six rooms shared one toilet and one bathroom. The store did not indicate the spiral staircase upstairs. It was small and unsafe. If you were careful, you would roll down the stairs. This is the first time I have encountered such a bad hotel. - Jeff (10/5): -
- Peta (3/5): Not pleasant. - N/A Tap in the kitchen broken. No onsite parking, got a $125 parking fine parking for parking in the street as advised.
- Seyed Abolfazl (7/5): -
- Thi Dieu Quy (10/5): -
- amanda (5/5): - Close to the Gabba for big bash games. Cleaners don't do a very good job
- ricky (1/5): - It was close to gabba When we turned up to our accommodation the yard a out the building is very untied, grass was long. There was suppose to be parking and there wasn't, I got a parking ticket of $125 for parking next to gabba bob. Beds where not up to standard. Unsafe staircase to next level where the kitchen was. The one toilet continually . It stated the was a TV, which is incorrect.
For our experience it's the worst B and B we have ever stayed and definitely the worst accommodation. We didn't stay long and left ever early to drive home. I wish I had taken photos so everyone esle could see.

- Leslie (2/5): -
- Cate (1/5): -
- Rebecca (1/5): Ghastly! - The location. Stayed for 45min before we walked out. Everything was gross. Place was filthy. Sheets didn’t smell fresh. More like they’d been in the linen cupboard for months.
One bathroom combined with toilet for 5 separate rooms of people. The ad reads like we booked a 2 bed 1 bath air BnB unit. Not a two storey, 5 bedroom with one bathroom. Manky carpet upstairs and couches looked like they’d been picked up randomly from the side of the road.
No air con. No ceiling fans. No windows that could be opened. Just a couple of pedestal fans to cool those hot Queensland night. No tv. Street parking. Place smelt mouldy and dusty.
Complimentary continental breakfast consisted of two open half loaves of bread, half boxes of cereal and opened jars of condiments. Food safety handling has taken a big hit here. Sponge to wash dishes looked like it was imbedded with e-coli. Kitchen sink tap is hanging in for dear life. Benches are sticky.
Here’s the best part. No illness’ in my house back home, was feeling fantastic all three of us ate the same dinner, I was the only one to use the bathroom and somehow managed to catch a gastro bug that kick started at 2am and wouldn’t allow me to be more than 5m from a toilet. No one else was sick nor became sick. It was lovely to spend the first day of my mini break in the toilet. Literally a crappy 24hrs.
This place desperately needs some TLC and a huge overhaul. Owners should take some pride instead of your money. I was however fortunate enough to get my money back after contacting Booking.
- Catrin (6/5): - Location No fly screens on bedroom windows
Very hot in there
- Hurding (10/5): -
- Truong Nguyen (7/5): -
- Luwis (10/5): - So quiet so much pruvacy.I like the place
- Jason (3/5): - Was close to the venue There were many things wrong with the facilities that weren’t properly maintained.

- Tony (1/5): STAFF STOLE WEDDING RINGS - The location I left my wedding rings on the bathroom sink , not long before leaving the motel. The staff walked into the motel on our way out and asked us where we left the key. My wife said she thought she last saw it in the bathroom. The staff said they will check the bathroom. I told the staff my wedding rings are in there as well. We weren't allowed to go back in to check ourselves. He returned and said he found no key and no rings. He then accused us of stealing the key and said he'll report us to police and abruptly left.
There was no washing machine and dryer as advertised. There was no air-conditioners, but instead ceiling fans. The ceiling fans outside of our room in the living room made a loud clicking noise , non stop all day and night. We tried to turn off the ceiling fans by pressing the switch on the wall did not turn them off. The speed dial for one didn't change the speed for one, and for the other one, using the speed dial turned made the ceiling fan spin extremely rapidly, far too fast than its supposed to, but managed to slow it down. These fire hazards and made us feel extremely unsafe.
- Paul (7/5): - Location , value for money. I should have checked , but room had no air /con , maybe a second fan for the person on the far side of the bed. Sink in downstairs bathroom only dribbled when turned on.
- Mykayla (1/5): - Nothing it was putrid full of druggos Everything was gross
Drug users everywhere there.. like a drop in centre
- Emmanuel (9/5): -
- Jonathan (8/5): -
- Alan (7/5): -
- Cynthia (1/5): Don’t bring your kids here - Very casual not secure, hot and dingy
- Nicole (1/5): I don't recommend it - Honestly nothing, one of the worst experiences I've had People knocked on the walls and doors, they emitted annoying noises at night, in the morning they could drink alcohol with more friends, strange people came in and out, 0 security
- hayley (7/5): It done what it needed to - The comfortable pillows No aircon stated when booked that we got breakfast included was not what we thought you need to have single use butter and condiments no water pressure in downstairs sink

- Hurding (10/5): It’s better than some fancy suite, just a nice cozy stay prepared by people who are passionate about what they do. Great - Cozy homes indeed they are So clean, comfy and value for money. Bristol st at west end is a beautiful house.
I love what these guys do. Been to 3 of the cozy home’s properties and 10/10 each time
- Yarela (8/5): -
- Andrew (1/5): Terrible - Nothing The smoke alarm in our room seemed to have batteries that were flat and did ask for it to be assessed and had a language barrier because the cleaner had to repeatedly come back and accused us of smoking because the alarm was still going off
- robert (5/5): stressfull - the front door key didnt work stuck out side for 30minutes, lucky a girl from europe heard my knocking and opened the front door.
- quentin (1/5): The worst booking i ever made - I had a bed and a roof over my head Someone smoked inside the living room just in front of my room, and I am very allergic to smoke.
The kitchen sink was broken, the toilet was broken with pee and toilet paper inside, and the place was dirty.
I think it’s the worst booking I ever made. I have asked for a refund.

- Laurie (7/5): Good, though aircon and screens would b - It was easy to access plus good location, also neat, tidy, clean! No fly screens on windows, this needs fixing! No air-conditioning makes it hard to sleep though it wasn't the warmest night!
- Judy (10/5): Enjoyed it very convenient very clean - Position was perfect for us bed and was comfortable
- Jmelliah (9/5): - Good big bed. Not enough food.
- Alison (5/5): Nice staff. Okay for a budget place, it needs some work and shouldn’t be called a bnb - Pleasant staff who were quick to act when something had gone wrong. Good location The carpets and building are just too old, it smelt bad like a backpacker joint, and with thin walls I could hear my neighbours room plus some electronic sensor trolling noise that’s go off at different times. Also, the ‘breakfast’ part is a stretch - having a box of weetbix and cornflakes in a cupboard doesn't cut it.
- chantelle budby (10/5): Awesome place - Quiet easy going and just 😎
- Mamona (6/5): -
- Janine (2/5): Unpleasant - Nothing didn’t end up staying there Didn’t end up staying at property was redirected to another property further away
- David (3/5): Booked indesperation because I hadn't been able to find a motel at reasonable fee with vacancies. In - I didn't get a breakfast. There was no sign of anything for breakfast No TV, shared bathroom
- Jessica (8/5): - Location, room size No washing machine
- Shania (1/5): -
- Kathryn (9/5): -
- Nic (5/5): Sorry, this was not a good experience. - There was a good cafe down the road. There was no milk left for breakfast. The tradesmen started grinding next door at 6.30 am on Friday. The downstairs loo makes the whole floor smell like a drain. The whole place doesn't smell good.
- Kym (2/5): Sleep in car instead - Quiet area Spiral timber staircase desperately requires plumbing to taps leaking, broken, bathtub cleaning $400 FOR ONE NIGHT how do people get away with this,
- Pardeep (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrien (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brodie-leigh (7/5): Good -
- Carly (4/5): Disappointing -
- French (5/5): An ok place, nothing fancy. - I appreciated the timely communication when someone was screaming outside my door I got there and the place was not ready at 4:30 pm. I did not know how to turn on kitchen lights. I thought the doors were very thin and not protected for a family. When the guy was screaming I was terrified with only a thin door with one lock. I did not leave my room that night I was so scared.
- Aaron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Judy (10/5): Worked perfectly - Good position clean and quiet and key worked You need a light where the keys are collected it was very dark
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional -
