• Frédéric (9/5): Appartement moderne et élégant - Appartement moderne et élégant situé au rez de chaussée dans une rue calme et à 10 minutes de l'Acropole. Le quartier propose non loin toutes les commodités et possibilités de sortie (restaurants, bars, glaciers, boutiques, ....). Une excellente base arrière pour explorer l'Acropole et tous ses alentours (Plaka, la colline de Filopapou, ...) Le système pour allumer et éteindre l'alarme n'est pas très intuitif, malgré les explications je n'ai pas réussi à ce qu'il ne sonne pas pendant quelques minutes.

• Jamie (10/5): Beautiful apartment in a perfect location. - The apartment was very clean and in a great location. It was very helpful to have a washing machine and drying rack. The single and double beds were comfortable and suited us nicely. Kitchen had the necessities for cooking a couple of meals and the apartment felt secure. Grocery store just across the street. Highly recommend! Parking was a little bit hard at 3 pm on a weekend, but we circled once and found a spot 240 m away. Just be aware that the free parking means find your own on the street.

• Aneta001 (10/5): - Location is perfect. It is not far from Acropolis and nice restaurants and cafes. The room is spacious and have air conditioning which is crucial for a greek weather :) There's no netflix so you have to change the description of the apartament.
• Bedirhan (5/5): Für mittlere Ansprüche in Ordnung - Die Lage. Sehr schnelle Kommunikation. Die Bilder im Inserat sind nicht aktuell. Die Wohnung ist ins Alter gekommen und braucht Pflege und Aufmerksamkeit. Defekt: Schlafzimmertür geht nicht zu, d.h.bleibt locker 40cm offen. Somit ist keine Privatsphäre möglich. Es war auch kein Öl vorhanden. Vieles war in den Schränken unordentlich. Das extra Schloss an der Tür der Wohnung ist nur sehr schwer zu betätigen. Traurig ist, dass man diese Probleme auch schon in älteren Rezensionen lesen kann. Anscheinend ist mit der Zeit das Herz zur Wohnung verfallen und eine Routine hat es ersetzt. Das Bad ist sehr schlecht belüftet und die Decke ist nur dort sehr niedrig. Die Tür kann man zudem nicht abschließen. Teilweise war Geschirr nicht gut gereinigt. Auch gab es keine Willkommenskleinigkeiten, was wiederum nicht der Griechischen Gastfreundschaft passt. Fazit: Es braucht Pflege und wieder den richtigen Spirit um diese eigenentlich schöne Wohnung wieder in den Ausgangszustand zu bringen.

Nous étions à Athènes pour 1 nuit en transit et cela nous a permis de visiter l’Acropole des 8h du matin SEULS car entrée principale à 3mn à pied. L’hôte est adorable, au petit soin, répond immédiatement et ils proposent service de navette Aéroport / Port. La veille nous avons dîné dans resto Grec délicieux (avec prix Grecs) sur une petite place « Onos Taverna » à 5mn à pieds. Merci Rien

Bien pour un court séjour. Il y a 3 lits et pas 4 comme indiqué dans l’annonce. Déçus par la literie qui manque de confort. Le canapé lit n’est pas confortable, la seconde partie est sur les ressorts et le matelas de la chambre à coucher est vraiment beaucoup trop mou.
• Kalina (9/5): Very comfortable stay for all your needs in Athens - This is a truly classy place. You have everything to ensure a comfortable stay in one of the liveliest neighbourhoods in Athens. The apartment is modern and new, spacious with all the amenities, including washing machine and microwave. We also enjoyed the Netflix available. You are also 10 minutes walk from the Acropolis and the area is full of quality eating and market establishments.We had the best brunch in one of the nearby cafes! Also, the market around the corner is well stocked. The hosts were responsive even if we didn't meet them, we checked in late with their instructions without any problems. The apartment is well shaded and air conditioning is in every room which is important during a heat wave. Altogether, we recommend this property 100%! We liked everything really. The apartment is on the ground floor which can be a little jarring as the window in the bedroom is on street level but shades provide comfort and confidentiality.

• Urszula (10/5): Exceptional - The location is perfect! The apartment was very clean and well equipped for us. The area is nice and safe. Acropolis, shops, cafes and pharmacy are just around the corner. We also recommend PanCake bar for breakfasts, Kalamaki bar or Tom’s tavern for dinner. The cars can be parked at Metro station (Park and ride). Total cost for 2 days was 7 EUR (10-13 minutes walking distance). We enjoyed our stay a lot!

It is conviniently located right between the Acropolis and Sygrou-Fix metro stations and within walking distance to the Acropolis. There are a great range of restaurant choices in the neighbouhood. The hosts sent us very detailed instructions and security notice for the apartment. The bed has extremely soft foam mattress which my mother wasn't very used to. The single bed felt fine when I slept on it.

We also found parking at a nearby Syngou Fix Metro station for €4 for 24 hours, just a 10 minute walk from the apartment. It was very spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning. Nothing not to like!

Across the street from a supermarket. It had everything we needed. Top spot, nice neighbourhood would stay there again. Great communication from Efi & Kon - self check in & any questions we had were replied to promptly. Efharisto! Nothing, great stay.

• Daniel (1/5): TRAUMATIC AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE - THEFT AND BREAK-IN - ALERT!!!! HORRENDOUS THEFT AND BREAK-IN We stayed at ‘MODERN APARTMENT 200M FROM ACROPOLIS” in July 2024. While we were out sightseeing one morning, thieves entered the apartment, and stole our PASSPORTS, LAPTOPS, CASH, PHONES. All our belongings were thrown everywhere. The local police was called, but they were of little real assistance (they took our details, shrugged their shoulders when we asked what they will do, and advised us to go to the tourism police to file a report). It is HIGHLY PROBABLE to be an INSIDE job. Note that the thieves had KEYS to the apartment, since there were no signs of any physical break-in. They even re-locked the doors after they stole our stuff. When we notified the host, they didn’t really seem too bothered to even check inside the apartment. None of the apartment furnishings like TVs, etc were touched. Even after we checked out, they didn’t bother to change the combination code of the letter box which holds the keys. WARNING - DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY!!! Unless the Owner installs proper security features, like safety boxes, CCTV and inside latches on the door, etc, you do not want to take risk staying at this property.

• Barry (1/5): Bad - Location The terrible noise outside. People shouting. Skip deliveries at 2am Loud motor bikes all night. Lack of sleep the worst I've ever had in my life. Marshmallow pillows. Uncomfortable beds. Unprofessional owners. Last minute changes to a 7 month old booking to a well know violent area, full of drug dealing, prostitution, pick pockets, muggings and full of immigrants with criminal intentions. Having lived in Athens for 12 years the Omonia Square area is a place to avoid if you want to be safe on holiday instead of an inforced change by the owners to suit themselves. Then to be accused of being racists was the most disgraceful thing ever, considering my one of my sons is half black and my 3 other children are half Greek. The Greek TV, Google and everyone decent person even my attorney in Athens all say to avoid Omonia Square because of the criminal immigrants ( not all but certainly more than what you want to face whilst an innocent tourist then to be mugged or even worse. Every so often I sent messages to the owners to confirm the booking as it is a well know fact that some agents or landlords will change bookings without any discussions or asking permission and expect the innocent travellers to accept the booking and in my case to find alternative accommodation 3 days before arrival or to cancel the whole booking that was booked 7 months beforehand getting a good rate to be forced to find alternative accommodation last minute for a similar rate. The noise around the property was unbelievable, we were unable to sleep for 3 nights without hourly disruption, I would avoid this property like I would avoid COVID19. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL OWNERS, RUDE AND EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL 😒.

This place is particularly good for families as it is very affordable. Being able to stay here made this trip possible for us :) Pull out couch not comfortable. Walls between this apartment and the next must be quite thin, can hear everything next door.
