• Beverly (10/5): - Appartement agréable et propre très spacieux et beau Baie vitré visé on ne peut donc pas profiter des terrasses, deux chambres pas de chauffage et pas asser d'eau chaude pour 8 personnes
• Alexander (4/5): - Large rooms and large windows so it is bright (but much sun comes in). Nice view. Washer and drier. The deposit (not mentioned in ad) was eventually (after three weeks, not after one as promised) paid back (after reminders to the agency). The person from the agency was very friendly and tried so solve some problems, but most problems where not solved due to summer vacations of craftsmen. Oostend is very nice, large beaches. Good train and tram connections (but tram is full with luggage hard to get in. On the departure day, after giving back the keys, just at the train stop near the agenecy, 17 people could not get into the tram and had to wait for next next one 10 minutes later, which was likely also overcrowed. In order not to miss the train, the one of use who gave back the keys did not wait for the next tram but used a bus where the stop is 600m away.) You have to pick up and give back keys in agency, quite far away from the apartment. For people traveling by train this means two extra trips w. luggage. You have to pay a deposit directly to the agency (not mentioned in ad), not via booking.com, to cover potential damages. But there is already a lot of damage, see below. So we spent one hour to take photos of them, such that we are not blamed and avoid loosing the deposit. The email contact to the agency is very bad, almost all emails where we asked fixing the damages remained unanswered. There are literally hundreds of stains on the (former) white walls (see really only few of them in photos). No big pots in kitched, only few tiny ones, some broken or dirty. We bought a big one to be able to cook. Some garbage remained in a room, even with used tissues. The elevator did not work when we arrive plus a couple of days. We had to carry all luggage and the groceries in many trips six (six !) floors up! The door to the terrace was open when we arrived. Impossible to close and lock it. Mosquitos and rain came in through slits (see photo). From outside one could shift it open (OK, it is six'th floor). The terrace offers a nice view but there is no terrace furniture, no sunshade, so terrace is of no use. There are no sunshades for the big windows, sun heats apartment up. Most lights in the living room and the dining room did not work (see photo). No movable standard light exists (we asked for one and offered to buy one, no answer). Evenutally the last one in the living room stopped also working (no standard bulbs ...). The last day before departe someone came to really fix it (but without notice, we opened in pyjamas). Below the apartment lives a coupld who started to discuss each (!) night at 1:00am very loudly. The big TV shown in the ad does not exist. Only a small one, no international channels.

• Pol (3/5): Prijsonwaardig - De ontvangst en behulpzaamheid van Louis van Bel-Air. Het appartement is zeker niet de titel van Luxury waardig. Het voldeed niet om met 8 personen te kunnen verblijven. Wij waren met 5 en met moeite huisgerief voor ons. We zelfs zelf glazen gekocht. De huisraad was allemaal vuil, we hebben eerst alles zelf proper moeten “schuren” om te kunnen gebruiken. Er was geen afwasmachine, geen stop voor de afwasbak, we hebben de hele week in een emmer de afwas gedaan. Onder de kussens van de zetel lagen etensresten, toen we aankwamen stond er water op de vloer…en zo kunnen we nog een hele waslijst vermelden. Dit hebben we dan ook doorgegeven aan Louis. Ik denk dat sommige mensen in deze situatie gewoon hun geld zouden terugvragen !!!

• Gengler (1/5): Nous y retournerons pas. - Les personnels de l’agence La propreté. Appartement détériorer. Voisinages agressif. Coincer dans l’ascenseur avec un enfant. Des taches de sang à terre alors qu’on a un bébé de 9mois avec.
