- Judy (8/5): A lovely, clean unit, with beautiful views - A lovely unit with beautiful views & quiet restful location We were advised to boil the water before consumption, which we did, however even after boiling it still didn’t taste the best. The owner did supply some complimentary bottled water in the fridge which was sufficient for our short stay but I would definitely recommend anyone staying for longer than one night to be sure to bring bottled water with you. Also if you are wanting to use the 2nd bedroom in this 2 bedroom unit be sure to advise at time of booking as that room was locked.

- Patricia (6/5): The lounge was more comfortable than the bed. - The views were great, the unit was clean. The beds were very small and uncomfortable and the linen too starchy. I found the lounge a lot better to sleep on.

- Stephen (10/5): A great place to stay with beautiful views. - White Sands is a great place to stay on the East Coast of Tasmania. The unit was clean and comfortable and had everything you need for a few nights away. The facilities at the resort were excellent, including the restaurant and bar. The restaurant is only open for dinner Friday and Saturday night, so you need to be mindful of that when catering for yourselves, as the nearest shop/restaurant is a 20 minute drive away. No other issues of note.

Great views We called at the main reception building to be told that they were closed, so no meals, coffee or wine tastings to be had

Tired accommodation and photos on website didn’t match reality, which was disappointing. Not happy had to pay for use of bbq when told was included in stay. I didn’t have any money on me so couldn’t use it and had to cook in room after I had walk down with meat. Also, only found out when arrived restaurant not open for tea Monday and Tuesday. Lunch is take away but found out on second day can sit in cafe and eat it. No staff on hand when you arrive or to deal with any issues. Tennis court was very old and needs an upgrade. Games room was rubbish and half the equipment was out of order or not working. We wont be back sorry.
