- Brendan (9/5): Great location, even better host - Norm is a terrific host and so helpful and friendly. He gave me alternate directions to find the carpark, met us there and walked us all the way to our room. The next morning he was there to meet us again. He was also amazingly helpful when we had to change the booking at the last minute and went above beyond in this aspect.
There were plenty of beds and extra warm bedding, which came in very handy on a cold night. It would be a great place to stay for a large group. You could sleep as many as 10 people in this apartment.
The food options across the street were many and varied - you could choose from almost anywhere in the world. The heating in the lounge room could have been beefed up a bit, although Norm did try to make it better with an extra heater and probably would have helped further if we had asked. Mum (67) and Nan (87) struggled a little with the low couch - which most people, myself included, would find quite comfortable. Apart from that, everything was good.
The food option we did choose (Noodle House) was the big disappointment. While the meal itself was nice, the 50+-minute wait for takeaway (they told me 20-25) when it did not appear to be busy meant I was half an hour late for my planned evening. I wouldn't go to that place again.

- Smith (10/5): Exceptional - Norm, The Host, was available to meet us for our late check-in and provide us with a tour of the building and idea of what clubs, pubs & restaurants were in the area ..not a biggy but I'm still waiting on my invoice and our bookkeeper is on my case !!
- Alexandr (7/5): Overall very good for the price - Great location to explore Canberra and also not far to Tidbinbilla for a day out in nature. 20-25 minute drive to both. Lake across the road. Groceries and plenty of restaurants along the street downstairs. Apartment is very spacious and well maintained. Beds are quite comfy, shower is hot and everything works fine, not much to complain about. Personal lock-up garage is available. The owner is very welcoming and forthcoming. Would come back, as it is exactly what I expected for the price, and the apartment size definitely exceeded my expectations. A few mould spots on the shower walls, not much, but definitely not pristinely clean. Carpets have some stains. Kitchen utensils are a bit lacking - no thongs or flat spatula; only the very basics are there.

- English (10/5): We were pleasantly surprised - Excellent location, having a large shopping centre on one side and the lake on the other side. We enjoyed morning walks along the lake, and 80/20 make great coffee and are located in the same building below. Host was very good. The rooms were very spacious, and great for our family of 6. There was also an additional single bed that was not mentioned in the description or photos, but very welcomed.

The thoughtfulness of all the little extras supplied throughout the unit made for a very enjoyable stay. There was nothing to not like.
