• Shivali (9/5): - The location of the flat, and the big market store below the flat. It's a very spacious place and very clean. The utensils were not clean and toiletries were not there.
• bernd (5/5): - Vermieter war hilfsbereit Disappointing. The apartment has the feel of a furniture store showroom. Simply combining two couches with a flat-screen TV in the living room and adding two rugs doesn't create a vacation rental. Especially considering it received a 9.5-star rating, it lacks any real wow-factor. What exactly is so special about this apartment? There's a balcony, but no seating; instead, there are two clotheslines for hanging laundry. Is that really so extraordinary? Even the smallest things are missing: a bread basket, egg cups, a coffee maker, a toaster, and so on. Based on my experience in Albania last days, for example in Durres (€18, unobstructed sea view from 100 meters) and in Saranda (€17, second row of buildings), the price-performance-ratio (30€) is nowhere near acceptable. Among the shortcomings that detract from the comfort of this apartment is the fact that, for instance, there are only two accessible electrical outlets in a 35-square-meter "living room." There is water damage on the exterior wall (mold spores?), and pipe connections protruding from the floor are wrapped with adhesive tape. There were four power outages in the evening, resulting in a washing machine cycle ending at 10:30 PM, drying late outside. One more request: instructions including the router password and instructions for using the TV equipment.

• Veianya (10/5): - The owners were kind and helpful. Anytime we needed them, they answered promptly. We stayed for over a month. The essentials were all there. We added some convenience and comfort items. But the place had everything needed for a short stay. The location is convenient to all the stores and necessities needed to get by in Albania. We would definitely book again if needed.

• Vasmatics (9/5): Amazing price for an amazing location - The location is awesome. It is just across the street from the bus station, literally above a big supermarket. There are plenty of shops, coffee bars and restaurants in the direct vicinity. There is a mosque and a cathedral in walking distance. The owner helped us find a parking place on the street when we arrived (totally safe to let the car there, nothing to worry about). The building has an unfinished elevator (a working one too) which they left in a messy way on the ground floor, so watch out for the small children when passing by there. This is not the fault of the apartment, just the sad reality of the building (which looks quite new and clean by the way). Hopefully they will fix it in the near future.

• Patrycja (9/5): Superb - Very spacious flat and central location. Supermarket in the building and a lot of restaurants around. Bedroom could use a little night lamp. It only has a main light and it's very, very bright.

• Rose (10/5): Exceptional - This place is perfectly situated in Shkodër. Right above a supermarket and the balcony looks directly over the roundabout where all the buses arrive and depart. The hosts went out of their way to be helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They kept my bag for me while I did the Valbonë to Theth and were just lovely people. The place is comfy and has everything you need for such a good price. It's close to the city but not in that main strip which is loud at night. A peaceful, central spot. Highly recommend

• Emma (7/5): Nice location but the apartment could get some upgrades. - Nice location. The airconditioning was in the living room, not the bedroom. It was very hot during the night even with the airconditioning on. The shower was broken and the bathroom smelled bad.

There was electricity all over the bathroom, whatever was touched. The apartment was not really well equipped. There were some strange people in the building so at moments it was scary. The bed is very hard to sleep on.

• Leo (8/5): Well located and value for money apartment - A great apartment located in the city centre and within easy reach of everywhere. Located on 7th floor with an elevator and ideal for a short stay, with good WiFi and big balcony. Host was great and fixed a small issue with the water very promptly. Windows have external blinds to block out light. Some guests may find the area a bit noisy at night as it is in city centre. My personal preference would be to use warmer lighting colour rather than bright white!
