Guest Reviews
- Chris (8/5): Stay was cozy for 3, beautiful views, location was central to many things, all in all was good! - Loved the views, location, overall the place was nice. The host was very responsive to any questions and made check in easy. It would be nice to know there's only a one window A/C unit instead of a central unit. So the apt got warm fairly quickly. Once we figured out the room A/C we figured ways to cool the place down. Some of the fixtures seemed a bit dated/not super clean, wires under the TV where there was a hole and the door to the one bedroom was broken. Felt a tad over priced compared to other places nearby. If those things were tended to I think would make the stay a 9 or 10/10
- Nerjino (10/5): It was a hassle-free stay. The host is responsive and easy to talk to. The place is bright and clean. - The location is convenient. Near the Hullo ferry terminal, near restaurants and bus stops None
- Zhanna (1/5): Overpriced and underdelivered — wouldn’t recommend this listing to anyone. - The view was amazing from the 40th floor, and the location was convenient for exploring downtown Vancouver. Main bed was extremely squeaky, second bedroom felt like a closet with no windows and was unbearably hot. Bathroom light was out and we had to replace it ourselves. Cleaning was poor—hair in the tub, used soap left behind. Shampoo bottle was sketchy and unsealed. Kitchen was missing basic cookware and supplies despite listing saying it was fully stocked. No dish soap, almost no dishes. Extremely loud with windows open, but way too hot to keep them closed. Host communication was terrible—no reply when I needed urgent help with parking. Not worth the price.
- Lynn (3/5): Disappointment - Location No air conditioning! Circuit breaker kept tripping and power going off, so did fans!
Had to reset over and over again ! No hand towels and only 1 washcloth given for 4 people! Second bed is in a closet! Pictures on site were much bigger then in person!
- Feser (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (3/5): Poor - Communication with the host was poor.
Water was not draining from tub and host was advised. We were advised that someone will come in to fix it, but we were there for 4 days and it never got fixed. There were 4 of us and we had to use a plunger in between showers.
- Susan (7/5): We had a good stay the area is a little noisy with sirens but I guess that’s because it’s in the heart of the city. Good - Easy access good location apartment was modern with good kitchen and bathroom facilities Bed settee was a bit uncomfortable. Main bedroom lacked lighting and the blinds didn’t block any outside light
- Araceli (5/5): The only good thing about this accomodation is the close proximity to downtown. - Close to downtown The sofa bed is really bad. You cannot really sleep on it because there was no proper cushioning you can feel the wood sticking out. It was hard sleeping on it It is very poor maintenance. The bathroom needs more cleaning. And they should have put a rubber mat on the bathtub for safety reasons as the shower is inside the bathtub. The floor mat in the bathroom is so small. The bathroom accessories are dirty and they only provided 2 toilet rolls for 5 days stay for 6 people. There is only one hand towel in the kitchen and the kitchen is poorly lit you cannot see properly at night glad we are not cooking. There were somewhat wet towels hanging inside the wardrobe I suppose they've been used. There was not enough linen to cover the sofa bed and the one we found in the cupboard seemed like they were not washed at all. There is no mirror in both bedrooms. The only mirror is in the bathroom like a medicine cabinet and next to the main door. I contacted the host via messaging and told him/her about it but did not do anything to attend to these issues.
- Yaretci (5/5): It was okay, smaller than expected. Ran out of toilet paper, don’t understand the late fee when it’s self serve. Too muc - View Late fee
- Fredeline (5/5): We picked this place for the View and for Location . - The location is perfect , the views are Amazing we are on 38 floor.
Walking distance to everywhere. Less than 10 blocks away from Canada place.
Next to nester market - convenient grocery store , restaurants ,A block away from Gastown steam clock .
Provided laundry liquid detergent was able to wash clothes and towels .
The flat Screen Tv is another Bonus with accessible cable and free wifi included . Parking space so tight, better knows how to park well.
They provided us with 2 bath towels, 2 face towels and 1 hand towel reserved for 5 people, the bathroom bulb is also busted .
The master bedroom bed making squicking sound, yet the bed comfortable .
You can hear the siren at night, the building is Not sound proof .
- Dawn (7/5): Great views, mostly good stay - Spectacular views! This condo is in a great location, we were able to walk many places. This condo was very hot, which was surprising for a March stay. There was an AC unit in one bedroom but it was overall very hot.
The car parking spot is “small car” only, it’s a tight fit.
The initial communication was clear but then any response time after that was very poor.
The kitchen was well stocked with plates, pans, etc but no salt, pepper, cookie spray,.
There was a fire alarm while we were there - not the condos fault - but it did require a walk down 38 flights of stairs. Something to consider.
- Meann (9/5): Me and my family had a wonderful stay! - Location was convenient. Walking distance to a lot of areas None everything was absolutely perfect
- Aakash (3/5): Poor - Owner was hard to work with
- Florian (8/5): Very good -
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maria (6/5): Amazing location but please change the sheets next time - Location can't be beat! It's very central and convenient. The building is nice and well maintained, too. I was traveling with my 75 yo mom and one of the beds had dirty sheets with stains, rather unpleasant.
We discovered this right before going to bed so we had to improvise in order to be at least somewhat comfortable. The host acknowledged the issue but did not do anything to resolve this or make it up to us.
The parking was tricky too: we had a hard time getting out when we were leaving because you actually can't leave the garage without the fob (even though the host assured us we would be able to).
- Rory (10/5): Everything was great and exceeded expectations - Excellent Communication every step of the way. Was given an early bag drop as well as offered early check in. For a small apartment it felt very spacious. Excellent view of the city and nice modern interior. Nothing
- Moyoko (8/5): Great spot for what you pay for. family friendly - Good location b/c near good bakeries and coffee shops. Also, grocery/pharmacy downstairs. Good price for what you get. Host was responsive (had an issue with 4 lightbulbs being out and he was able after I asked him a couple of times). Parking is provided (though very tiny space), washer/ dryer (no detergent). family friendly b/c grocery is downstairs, kitchen has mostly all you need to cook, eat off of. Certain amenities could be better/updated: newer pots and pans (current non sticks ones were peeling off), could provide laundry detergent, could provide soap/shampoo/conditioner (not just a giant bottle of shampoo). Lots of dust underneath couch and beds so small kids would find and put in their mouth. not family friendly b/c of sharp corners and lots of decorations (plastic flowers in vases) that kids would grabs so I had to hide everything.
- Sarah (6/5): Fantastic view over downtown Vancouver - The view was fantastic and the beds were really comfortable. The appartment is small but quite adequate for a family of four It is within walking distance of downtown and most of the sights. . The communication with the owner was not as good as could have been. The parking space is
meant for a small car, it was difficult to park a Nissan pathfinder - but we managed with 10cm on both sides.
- Daniel (9/5): Superb -
- Graciela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luca (9/5): Stunning views of the city on a comfy enviroment right in the niddle of historic gastown Vancouver! - Amazing city views, super comfy and scenic living room and kitchen, great entertainment option with giant tv + streaming - modern washing machine and dryer to vlean sine clothes during travel Not much all good, a drainer for pasta for other italian visiting :)
- Leoaureo (6/5): Pleasant -
- Randy (10/5): Exceptional - The view and location for what we were doing in Vancouver was amazing!
- Monica (10/5): Fantastic - The amazing view.. The bed was squeaky but comfy..
The parking space was tight…
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harshit (9/5): Superb -
- Ken (8/5): City Views - Great location close to everything. Beautiful city views. Area a little rundown. Small space for more than 4 people.
- David (8/5): Very good - Fantastic location and city views!
- Herman (7/5): . - In general, a very beautiful apartment in a cool location, in the city center with a beautiful view, I liked everything except for the terrible creaking bed, which I think should be replaced, its frame creaks from any movement and does not let you sleep. I hope it will be changed. A terribly squeaky bed that needs to be replaced. The shower door leaks and water gets on the floor.
- Flo (10/5): Exceptional - Nice view and super nice host!:)
- Cheing (7/5): Great location, amazing views however not a comfortable stay. - The location was great. Walking distance to restaurants & bars and we felt safe the entire stay. They offer parking in the garage. The views are amazing from the living area. T There wasn’t things we didn’t like about the property however there are things the next guests should be aware of. This property offers just the basic in terms of what is there— washer/dryer, kitchen cooktop and oven , microwave, etc. If you plan on using them, you will need to bring in dish soap, cooking oils, spices, detergents, garbage bags, etc. They do not provide anything that makes your stay comfortable. They had one wine glass for example so we drank from glasses however we were unable to wash them as we didn’t have any dish soap or sponges. The pots and pans are also quite old and dirty.
The space is quite tight, even for two people. One of the bedroom is in what looks like an office space so if you’re sharing, one would have to climb over the other to get out of bed.
As long as you don’t mind bringing everything you need to make your stay comfortable then the location is great and views are amazing.
