Upon arrival I can honestly say it was the most clean and welcoming accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. From the small touches throughout that elevated the stay to beautiful fresh smelling towels and ambiance. My family and I enjoyed our 2 night stay and hope to return to Adeline cottage again. They have really gone above and beyond to have everything you could ever need there and ready for you. The position is super handy to walk to town. The communication with hosts is super quick and informative. They also have super handy tips of what to do in the area with their experience of local knowledge which we loved! We could not have been any happier with this stay. The fireplace topped off this awesome stay! One of the best places we have ever stayed in couldn’t recommend it enough! • Karen (10/5): Cozy, modern cottage; perfect for a retreat in Katoomba - Wonderfully located, few minutes walk to Katoomba town centre. A cozy, modern, spotlessly clean cottage. Welcomed by a bottle of wine, chocolates and serene ambiance. This was the perfect place to make our retreat in Katoomba. Kids loved Disney+. Beds were comfortable, doonas warm. Kitchen had all the appliances (kettle, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher) and utensils and crockery. We were advised that there was no onsite parking, but were able to find parking on the opposite side on Lurline St. There were stairs down to the house (house located below street level), so care was needed especially at night and when it rained. Solar lights were helpful. Not a deal breaker for our family, but may be challenging for others.

Pretty garden with lovely plants. Home from home. We would love to stay again in the future. Host Rei is so lovely, the cottage is cared for very well. Liked everything.
• Jo (9/5): Comfortable, nicely decorated, clean and peaceful. Thank you for a great stay :) - A cute little cottage in a great location, easy to walk to everything. It was super clean and had everything you might need, including toiletries in case you'd forgotten something. There were some lovely touches like a chair by the door with a basket of slippers to change into, also a bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. I stayed for a quick getaway from Sydney work and the peace and quiet were perfect. Highly recommend. Whilst the wine was a thoughtful gift, a non alcoholic option would be appreciated for those who don't drink.

• Mr. E (10/5): Best place in the area. - This was by far one of the best places we've ever been. The cottage is such a lovely place; and it provides more than we would've expected. Parking is absolutely no problem, there are several public (free) parking spots at the side of the road just next to the cottage, but the cottage is still just a bit behind the main road for the cars, so it does not fully face the car road but a pedestrian sidewalk instead. Great location to explore the area. Bus stop not too far. Several good restaurants and it is also not too far to get groceries or breakfast. The bathroom is nice and had a window - even an additional heating on the ceiling, should that be needed. And in matter of the steps: yes, there are just a few (about five when you want to avoid the ones to get across the street, and if you need to go up directly to the street, there are about ten more - but the whole city is quite hilly and there are steps all around - so, this is actually quite nice, as it separates the cottage just a bit from the road. So, please: the steps are well maintained and definitely manageable, except you are alone in a wheelchair - we even had two little kids with a stroller with us and it was absolutely not a problem!). Great place. Do not look further if you want to stay somewhere in that area. Top place - no downsides.
• Robert (9/5): Great cottage in very close walking distance to town centre. - Great cottage near the town centre. Very nicely presented with responsive hosts. We liked it! just a short walk across the road and through a walkway to the top of town with nice restaurants. its quite compact, so if you're travelling in a group of 4 with large cases, you have to be creative around where you put your cases. That didnt affect our stay though.

• Jo (9/5): Awesome spot, gorgeous cottage - Seamless communication from Jason & Rei from the get go, with lots of great recommendations of places to eat, favourite walks etc. Perfectly located within easy stroll to all restaurants in town (the umbrellas were very much appreciated as we had 2 rather wet days!!) We had no trouble getting parking almost directly opposite the cottage every time we returned from outings The beds were comfy and the kitchen had all we needed to work with for eating in. It was a lovely touch having the fire prepped and ready to burn & despite it being summer we cranked it up on our first night as it was a bit cool, which made our 1st night in extra cosy 😁 Adaline was also spotlessly clean and had a great shower. There was nothing we didn't like, however if I had to suggest 2 things that would have made our stay even better...then as below. 1. A top sheet on the beds for the hotter nights (our 2nd night), we all slept without covers at all as the duvets were too warm...so it was all or nothing. 2. As we were 4 people travelling, the 2 chairs provided for seating in lounge area were super cute, but not particularly comfortable, had we had better weather we probably wouldn't have even noticed as we would have spent less time in the cottage, (we were aware this was the seating when booking though as it is shown in the photos), so that is really on us, but perhaps something to consider going forward. Especially for accommodating 4 adults. The sofa was comfy but just enough for 2 and our young adults travelling with us nabbed it every time 😏

• Kata (10/5): Beautiful cottage in the heart of Katoomba - The cottage is just absolutely fantastic! It was clean, crispy bed sheets, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and beautiful garden. It is a very short distance to grocery stores, restaurants, cafés, local shops. We walked to the Three sisters on our first night as the road leads you down there and it was totally safe. Our communication with Jason and Rei was outstanding, we got a lot of tips what to do, where to go. Thank you for that! The air condition was handy as it was really warm during our stay but we also enjoyed the sound of the rain falling on the roof. Thank you very much for the welcome presents! We can highly recommend to stay at this beautifully renovated cottage! Our daughter already wanted to return when we arrived at our next destination.

• Sabrina (9/5): Cozy little place of heaven! - Very cozy and well renovated property with lots of attention to detail. Loved everything about it, especially the super well equipped kitchen which was useful during the rainy days. Great location, walking distance to restaurants, shops etc. Very prompt responses from host at all times. Loved the extra chocolate, wine, slippers, towels etc. Very thoughtful! Minor small details that didn’t make our stay any less comfortable, but coffee was just dripping not flowing smoothly and a little difficult to get the water in the shower to the right temperature, but again - no big deal!

• Nikki (9/5): Superb - A fabulous location to explore The Blue Mountains. The home was comfortable and stylish, with little touches like the welcome wine/chocolates. The check-in instructions were clear, and we obtained entry with ease. We found it was better to park on Lurline St, in front of the steps, as they were easier to navigate with luggage than the very steep Leichardt St. We forgot to write in the guest book, but would have written the same warm praise for this accommodation. I will recommend this place to my friend who will be visiting soon (booking availability pending)

• Tovie (9/5): Luxurious cottage set amongst mountain village beauty - Magnificent location, surrounded by the changing leaves of Autumn. Abundant bird life was a bonus. Lurline Street is a busy road through the day, but it was quieter at night. The hosts have thought of every comfort and convenience. Very considerate. The house is impeccable inside. The only qualm for us was how soft the mattresses were, but that is obviously personal preference.

• Claire (9/5): This stunningly renovated cottage has all the charm and comfort that you could want in one of the most spectacular parts - Every single attention to detail is stunning in this gorgeous cottage from the styling, the quality of the sheets, and the soaps in the bathroom. The kitchen is fabulous- stocked with all the utensils you would want to cook up a feast. The fireplace works almost too well at times! We were toasty warm the whole time. The fresh garden flowers around the cottage were such a beautiful touch and the wine and chocolates on arrival were delightful. Jason & Rei were lovely to communicate with and replied quickly to any messages. The location is perfect - mere minutes to the Main Street shops, and only a few more minutes to some of the areas most stunning must-see sights and views. We loved everything.
• Meeta (10/5): Beautiful cozy cottage - We walked into a beautiful lovely smelling cottage with wine and chocolate. It was a well kept and beautiful place with all the amenities needed. Everything was so well thought of and you can see a lot of care and thought was out into the place. The shops we all close by. It's not one of those places that you can pull right up the cottage and get in. You'd have to park at the street and walk. Which wasn't the worst.

Nice and close to Katoomba township and only a short drive to all the attractions. We were pre-warned/advised of no direct parking, and found parking easily, just a short walk from the property.

The property does not have dedicated parking, so you’ll need to park on the street and carrying luggage requires going down a few steps, which might be a bit inconvenient. Additionally, there is no dryer available.
