David (10/5): Fantastic 10/10! - This apartment is absolutely beautiful, its clean and comfortable in every aspect. Roberto is lovely, he allowed us a late check in and despite it being 1am in the morning he took the time to tell us about the apartment and area. If you are staying in Rome stay at A casa di Ala, you wont regret it. Nothing, it was brilliant

Barb (8/5): we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it as good value for visiting Rome. - The apartment was clean in an excellent location. Two blocks from the train station, half a block to a park. From this location, we walked to the Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps, the Pantheon and the Colosseum. From the Colosseum, we took a taxi back which cost a solid nine euro. because of its proximity to the train station, the area could be viewed as a bit iffy. Although you have to be very careful of pickpockets, when we were walking around at night, however we felt pretty safe. Be aware that if you’re claustrophobic, the elevator is very tiny and there are a lot upstairs to get up to the fifth floor.

The metro station is exactly after the corner of the building. Walking distance to many of the famous historical places. Highly recommend! N/a
Bill (10/5): Great place and great hosts. - Property was excellent for our needs. The hosts were very helpful.....we had some travel issues and they were excellent at accommodating the circumstances. Slightly confusing to get to. But we somehow managed.
Hph (8/5): Nice appartment in a nice environment. - Great location. 5th floor, but no problem with the (slow) elevator. Spacious bedrooms and kitchen. Good WIFI. Entrance door was so hard to open that only one of us four could manage it. Only one very narrow bathroom for four adults. Water pressure is unbearable low. Only Italian TV-channels. To few chairs. As usually in Italy: no hooks and no wardrobe to hang on coats, clothing and towels.

We had everything we needed. Practical location close to Termini, the metro, many restaurants, and grocery stores. The owner is the sweetest person and very helpful. We were very satisfied with our stay. Due to the location close to Termini, the area may seem unsafe, especially in the evening/at night.

Roberto showed us how everything worked, what was close by and how we could get around in the city etc. Felt really welcome! Really nice with some water and a wine in the refrigerator as well. Susan (9/5): Spotless & well equipped apartment located near the train station. - The apartment was located in an ideal area for easy access to the train station. Roberto was in contact with us from before we arrived and until after we departed. He was extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment was spotless and catered for all our needs. We had a wonderful 5 night stay. The coffee shop at the corner (Milkys Bar) is excellent. The staff are delightful and the coffee is great!! The only small issue was the low pressure of the hot water in the shower. A microwave would be a great addition to an already well equipped kitchen.

Nick (9/5): Just check your booking carefully and l would highly recommend the property - Host was waiting for us as arranged. Property was spotless and well provided for. Wine and biscuits waiting for us. Flat is a decent size with a comfortable double bed. Facilities looked new. Area felt safe and just a 10 min walk to the Railway Station or 5 min walk to the nearest Underground. The lift to the flat is one of the smallest l have ever been in - if you suffer from tight spaces or have wide luggage this may be an issue. There was also a problem with the listing - double check what you are actually booking as there is confusion between beds or bedrooms , access to the 2nd bedroom is restricted unless payed for. Happily this was resolved by the host without any conflict and as they have taken this issue onboard l do not see this as a problem for any further bookings.
