Guest Reviews
- Nikola (10/5): - Great place, located close to Metro Line A Porta Furba. Very private, fully equipped and comfortable.
Many thanks to hosts Francesco and Maurizia.
- Roberta (9/5): Wonderful place to stay in Rome - short journey to centre but out of the crowds - loved it! - We had a wonderful stay here - it felt like home from home and the garden is an oasis after seeing the sights in the crowds of central Rome. Location was great - short walk to metro to reach the city centre (20 mins Metro A) and there were plenty of local shops and bars etc to use. Our host Francesco was very friendly and gave straightforward instructions and extra guidance.
The apartment provided everything we needed for a truly comfortable stay and the area felt safe and local.
The temperatures were hot for us and it was appreciated to have air conditioning in the apartment. We spent evenings eating pizza in the garden, smelling the roses and jasmine - and slept really well.
Really can't recommend it enough and hope to visit again :-) Very difficult to find something - only on arrival, getting used to how the keys worked took a few attempts, but that is a very minor point.
- Sofiia (10/5): Our stay was wonderful — we spent almost a week there and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend! - The terrace was absolutely lovely — we truly enjoyed having our breakfasts there. Great coffee and delicious toasts with jam were available, which made it perfect for a quick snack as soon as we arrived. The metro station and supermarket are just around the corner, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, which saved us from the heat! The only thing we missed was a kettle, as I enjoy having tea — but everything else was perfect.
- Jan (9/5): Excellent value for money, cute garden, strategic location. - Good value for money, good location close to the metro, very clean, amazing garden. Very kind and responsive host. Despite being very clean, there was a weird smell that persisted during the stay. Might be from a strong cleaning product? Airing the place helped.
- Jd (10/5): Great location and amazing house and backyard - Great location. Excellent backyard. Cleanliness was incredible. Perfect location close to metro. Easy to contact owner. Bed is super comfortable. Home away from home!
- Robert (9/5): Excellent stay, would go back for sure. - Wonderful place. Right off the metro.
Clean, all facilities for setting up for longer stays if need be.
Host was very responsive and friendly Personally the shower could be hotter. It was warm, not hot. I like hot showers.
Location is not walking distance to old Rome. However as noted, you’re a four minute walk to the metro and twenty minute ride to old Rome.
- Lukasz (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment spot outside of city center which is perfect fot relax after city walks. Large terrace where You can also quietly chill out. Super cosy area with fantastic restaurants. House itself clean, modern and equipped with everything. Host fully engaged and responsive. Many times in Rome, but finally find “my” spot ;-) ——-
- Andrei (10/5): Exceptional! - It is a perfect location, very close to the subway, in a quiet area. Equipped with absolutely everything you need, including things like EU plug adapter, etc. The fact that it has a garden is wonderful. Near the metro there are places to eat if you need to, there is also a supermarket. About the host in general is a separate discussion, very caring and attentive, very nice.
- Almussayev (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paulo (10/5): Exceptional - Cute secluded cottage conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood right next to the Metro, with lots of services nearby and a great 24h supermarket. 15 minutes from Termini and a great base to plan a Rome sightseeing with the added bonus of the area housing quite the variety of authentic Roman restaurants far away from the tourist traps in the center. The house itself has everything one needs and with nice touches of decoration pleasing the eye. The fair price was what caught our attention at first but in the end, it was a place that made our Rome experience more delightful.
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - Nearby metro stop A, groceries and local trattorias
quiet neighborhood
- Al (10/5): Lovely - Lovely apartment . Very good price and overall good experience
- Kovelsta (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was clean and well-maintained, with everything you need in the kitchen. The highlight was the beautiful garden—perfect for relaxing. Conveniently located near the subway, making it easy to get around.
- Tiiivana (10/5): Oasis in a busy city - This was an amazing place to say. This place is an oasis in a very busy city. It is even more beautifull in person than in the photos. The hosts thought of everything, even some details that you notice only when you get there. They were really kind and gave us usefull information about public transport and ways to get to the house and a great deal of advice. They were really approachable and quick to respond to any questions. Their instructions were very clear so we had no problems with anything that house had to offer. I will recommend this place to my family and friends, and next time I’m in Rome, I will choose this accommodation.
- Chang (9/5): Nice cozy place. 10 minutes metro ride from center. Actually not bad. - Private.
5 minutes from metro.
Also supermarket too.
Good communication with host
- Hubert (9/5): Nice and calm stay with good value for money and amazing owners. - It's a great place with wonderful owners. They respond really fast and are always willing to help. There was everything we needed, the neighbourhood is quite calm and safe even though it might not seem like that on the first glance on the street view. The metro is a few minutes away, as well as the 24/7 supermarket. Good value for money, especially for a couple.
It's also worth appreciating the check-in and house usage instructions available on the dedicated app and webstie. The shower door is a little unusual and may be problematic.
For longer stays, even above just 3 days, it would be great to have a washing machine, as the place is advertised as a house I believe, but I'm not sure if there's enough place for one. It also lacks a drying rack or I couln't find one, as the radiator in the bathroom isn't warm all the time, it's hard to dry the towels and they stay damp.
The information about an additional fee for check-in after 8 P.M. gives a bad impression because it's a self check-in anyway. And it makes you a little stressed wheather you'll arrive on time. Perhaps it could be changed for a later hour. We were a little late because of different delays, but the owner did NOT ask for the fee after all so it wasn't an issue for us.
- Josephine (10/5): Live like a local! - The location of the property is outside the city centre, about a 15-min subway ride, in the suburb of Quadraro. The subway station is conveniently located about a 5-min walk away. The property is clean and smartly furnished with a very nice outdoor area. Our hosts were not on site but were very responsive. I would highly recommend it if you want to experience Rome like a local! As it is our second time in Rome, we enjoyed spending time exploring the aqueducts nearby, street art, and checking out local restaurants and cafes..
- Filip (10/5): Exceptional - House was lovely.
- Sylviane (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The host thought of so many details for our comfort. The metro is within walking distance making the tourist sites easy to get to. We highly recommend this place.
- Móra (10/5): Fantastic apartment - It's a lovely, romantic place, nice private garden. Very comfortable, practical. The best place where I' ve ever been. Everything was fantastic
- Magdalena (9/5): Nice, affordable place nearby metro station. - The apartment is located quite far from the city centre, but there is a metro station nearby, so it's really easy to get to and come back from the centre. There is 24h supermarket nearby, and the apartment is well equipped if you want to prepare your own meals. The place is clean, and has a small outside garden area. Beds were comfortable, and the place has everything that you might need for a stay in Rome, although we ended up spending only our nights there, as city has so much to offer, that we didn't stay indoors really :)
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Piotr (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing, cozy and very clean place with a beautiful garden. The host was very kind and helpful. Good location, very close to a metro station and a supermarket. We had a really good time staying there and would definitely come back again.
- Josef (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colm (10/5): Lovely apartment in a great location, close to Metro. - Beautiful, well designed apartment with absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Some very thoughtful touches. Excellent location, in a nice area close to Metro. Highly recommended.
- Réka (10/5): Exceptional - Francesco, the host was super helpful. Even before our arrival, we were in touch, he helped with some information about Rome, transportation etc. The apartment was clean, comfortable and we had everything which was needed for our stay. During our time in the house, there was a small issue in the bathroom, but Francesco immediately reacted and help us to solve it. We also enjoyed the small garden, so we could have our breakfast outside.
- Ieva (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was very nice and clean, everything was provided. It was right next to the metro station so getting around Rome was nice and easy 😁
- Simo (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is really nice, comfortable, with a lovely patio and garden. A mix between stay home and hotel ! The center is easily reachable with the Metro A. The staff was comprehensive and reactive. Next time I'll check the availability of this apartment first, before I book the flight :) Everything was perfect.
