• Maysoon (4/5): - Great location but so is any location around Venice The apartment did not match the photos and felt cluttered with old furniture and many knickknacks. Check-in was inconvenient—the host asked to text when I was on my way and again when I arrived at the building door so they could unlock it. I followed the instructions but was left waiting outside until someone happened to let me in a few minutes later. Only sheets were provided—no covers or extra bedding—even after repeated requests. The host responded with questions but then ignored my requests. When I followed up on the last day, after the rest of my group arrived, the host finally explained that they only provide sheets during the summer. We ended up using beach towels for extra warmth. The door lock was confusing and left me stuck inside at times. To unlock it from the inside, you must use the key; if you use the handle first, the lock beeps, and you have to wiggle both the key and handle until it unlocks and stops beeping. The host was unhelpful in this case. The shower is too close to the bidet and it felt hazardous to get out of the shower. Lastly, please note that the apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, so plan accordingly. See photo of a mug that was put away in the cabinet with clean stuff (supposedly). I ended up washing anything before using it after seeing that.

• Alison (9/5): Superb - Apartment was really nice, very clean and in a great location. You need to be very vigilant about thieves in the area. Pick pockets are common and I did have an incident close to the apartment.

• Emma (10/5): Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location. - The property was beautiful and there was so much attention to detail with extra items that made the stay so special including biscuits, coffee, olive oil etc. The location was within walking distance and the host communicated with us right up until our stay and was very helpful. Nothing it was perfect. The only tricky part was when we arrived at night, the host didn’t receive our call and luckily for the lovely owner of the restaurant across the alley was able to contact the host and help us out with entry to the building.

• Jodi (10/5): Wonderful location, beautiful apartment. - Nice apartment. Plenty of room! Very clean. Within minutes to Basilica and Doge's Palace. Easy access by walking and to water taxi. The stairwell going up always smelled like sewers but the apartment never did.

• Belinda (10/5): Perfect spot close to San Marco Sq. - Nice touches to make one feel at home, such as coffee, treats, cooking/eating basics (salt/pepper, vinegar/oil). The bathroom is updated and feels like a 4 star hotel! Exceptionally decorated to feel like you are being spoiled. Downstairs (no lift) are a multitude of places to eat and drink! Super convenient to St Mark's Sq. and vaporetto! The bidet is very close to the shower, so it takes some maneuvering to get in and out of the shower.

If you want a great base to explore Venice, then look no further. It is a long walk through Venice to the train station/bus park. So definitely use the water buses. Nothing
• Tsveta (10/5): Stay like home at the back of the Dodge's palace - The location could't be more perfect; the apartment is so central, yet very quiet; very clean and beautifully furnished, the beds are very comfortable; there is everything that you need for a short or long stay nothing, everything was per fact, perhaps it will be useful to have some nets on one window for mosquitos
