• Rebecca (1/5): Worst vacation rental ever. - The location was close to the city center and train station. It was nice to be on the river. The booking said it slept 4 but there was only one bed, one blanket, and two pillows. I saw how a couch could be converted to a bed, but there was no bedding and no pillows. When I reached out to the owner, he brought a single rollaway bed, but there was still not enough space for all four of our family members to sleep. The listing said there was Wi-Fi and a hairdryer, but neither of those were in the unit. There was only a tiny bit of toilet paper and it ran out early on and they never replaced the toilet paper. The linens were soiled, the couch was dirty, and it seemed like the floors had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. Someone came to my door and demanded that I pay more money late at night on our last night. I had to call the police and I felt unsafe and harassed by the property owner. I am pursuing a refund for my stay because it was such a horrible experience. No one should believe this listing accommodates four people and booking.com should take the listing down. I paid way too much for a scary & miserable experience.

• Flor (4/5): the apartment needs a little bit of upkeep - the location was good. the apartment itself was good and warm . there is available parking which is very convenient the bathroom was full of molds including the shower curtains. there were barely any kitchen utensils that we could use.

• Nadeesha (8/5): - Perfect location with beautiful views. Easy access to public transport and shops. Rooms are big enough for a family. Bit difficult to communicate with the host as they don't speak English. It's better if they can provide basic kitchen items so you can prepare your own food as they have a kitchen.
• Jenny (1/5): 실망스럽고 불안했던 숙소 — 여행을 완전히 망쳤습니다 - 제가 여행을 다니며 묵었던 숙소 중 가장 끔찍한 경험이었습니다. 체크인했을 때 방은 전혀 청소되어 있지 않았고, 이틀 동안 수건조차 없었습니다. 수건을 달라고 하니 매니저가 시티택스를 현금으로 내야 한다고 요구했고, 저희가 카드를 쓰겠다고 하자 발로 문을 막으며 위협적인 행동을 했습니다. 숙소에는 기본적인 물건조차 거의 없었습니다. 와인잔, 오프너, 전자레인지, 가위, 샴푸, 바디워시 모두 없었고 조명과 싱크대도 제대로 작동하지 않았습니다. 샤워커튼에는 곰팡이가 가득했고, 화장실 불을 켜면 이상한 소리가 났습니다. 3인 예약이었지만 식탁은 2인용이었고, 키친타월을 요청했지만 끝내 주지 않았습니다. 매니저는 이후 부적절하고 모욕적인 메시지까지 보내 숙박 내내 불안하고 불쾌했습니다. 영국과 프랑스 등 다양한 곳에서 Booking.com을 통해 여행했지만, 이렇게 위협적이고 불쾌한 숙소는 처음이었습니다. 스위스에는 친절한 사람들이 많지만, 이 숙소와 매니저는 우리의 여행을 완전히 망쳤습니다. 스위스로 여행을 계획하신다면 이 후기를 꼭 참고하세요. This was the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. When we checked in, the room was dirty and not cleaned at all. There were no towels for two days, and when we asked for them, the manager demanded city tax in cash. When we said we would pay later by card, he blocked the door with his foot, which was extremely threatening. The apartment had almost no basic amenities — no wine glasses, opener, microwave, scissors, shampoo, or body wash. The lights and sink didn’t work properly, the shower curtain was moldy, and the bathroom made strange noises. We booked for three people, but there was only a two-person table. The kitchen towels were gone, and even though we asked, they were never replaced. The manager also sent inappropriate and insulting messages, which made us feel unsafe and uncomfortable. I’ve traveled widely, including in the UK and France through Booking.com, but I’ve never had such an unpleasant and frightening experience. Most Swiss people are kind and welcoming, but this apartment and manager completely ruined our trip. If you plan to visit Switzerland, please take this review seriously.
• Anna Margaretha (7/5): - Die Lage ist idyllisch: -Blick ins Grüne -Sicht auf den Fluss Aare und Berge -Sicht auf ein grosses Schiff -ruhig -hilfsbereiter Nachbar -ebenerdiger, schöner und in sich abgeschlossener Sitzplatz Es war nicht sauber: Bad, Küche, Kühlschrank Die Wohnung war ungelüftet. Host Farah hatte Verspätung mit dem Putzen und der Übergabe. Auf dem Sitzplatz wurde verschiedener Gerümpel gelagert: defekter Staubsauger, Baumaterial.

• JOOHYUN (1/5): 미친(네거티브) 숙소 - 인터라켄 동역에서 가까워서 융프라우 하더쿨룸 패러글라이딩 하러 가기가 편리했습니다 숙소 너무 더러웠구요 곳곳에 거미줄과 먼지 곰팡이가 가득했으며 욕실에는 타월도 없고 샴푸나 린스도 없고 거의 다 쓴 바디워시통이 하나 있었습니다 타월을 달라고 메시지를 보냈지만 타월은 가져오지 않은 채 도시세를 받으러 한 사람이 왔더군요 현금이 없어서 내일 주겠다고 했더니 알겠다고 하고 갔습니다 타월에 대한 조치는 끝끝내 이루어지지 않아서 둘째날 저녁에 전화를 걸었더니 자기는 주인이고 일하는 사람들이 잘 못해서 그런 거라고 하더군요 둘째날 밤늦게 첫째날 왔던 남자가 바디워시를 하나 들고 도시세를 받으러 왔고 역시나 타월은 가져오지 않았습니다 더블 베드는 괜찮았지만 싱글 베드는 한촉이 움푹 꺼져 있어서 한쪽으로 치우쳐 자야 했고 키가 157cm밖에 되지 않는 사람이 누웠는데 길이가 짧아서 다리를 구부리고 자야 했습니다 침구는 너무 눅눅했고 베개 하나는 커버만 침대 위에 놓여 있어서 옷장에 있는 여분의 길고 좁다란 쿠션을 꺼내와서 커버를 씌우고 자야 했습니다 숙소만이 아름다운 스위스 방문의 오점으로 남았습니다

• Charlycel (10/5): We amaze the cozy place i can recommend to everyone - We love the place near the tourist attractions which we love to go..we find easy the place cause we had use google maps.from the airport we bought sim card for us is easy to find. Clean apartment and good wifi only one problem my pillow are not comfortable to sleep coz to pluffy but overall are excellent!!!! The pillow should comfortable one but all thing are good we love the place .

• Romal (4/5): It was alright - The code for the key box was wrong, had to wait outside to call the owner to tell me the correct code. And he won’t tell me the code over the phone I had to email him, which was very time consuming.

• Lj (8/5): Very good - Value for money - really good. Behind it is a very beautiful lake, so the view was amazing. The place was spacious for a small family. No contact from the host from the time I booked, paid and arrived there until now. There was a lockbox where the key was and I just had to try and try different codes until it worked. No contact during our stay whatsoever, so that wasn't good.

The host took care of everything we needed while staying here for 1 night. Had comfortable arrangements for 4 people. Clean beds. Plus a kitchen, refrigerator, expresso maker, water heater for coffee. Everything to make a comfortable stay here. A microwave could be helpful (instead of the small oven). Key box takes a minute to get used to.

Good that there is a kitchenette but cutleries provided are not enough for my family of 4 adults. The location of the apartment is too far and a long walk from the train station as we have to drag heavy luggages. The pillow cases for the extra bed & sofa bed apparently smelt like it had not been dried thoroughly. The wall socket is loosely hung.

We called 3 times on number given but didn't received any response. It was worst stay, there were no towels, napkins. Wifi device didn't had proper charger. We had to use our charger. Socket was completely out. There were no kitchen paper roll for cleaning plates. Moreover there was stinking smell in room.

• Shahroz (2/5): Very poor - The balcony offers a breathtaking view of towering mountains and a tranquil lake, surrounded by natural beauty. The room was in poor condition and lacked proper cleanliness. Hair was found scattered throughout, indicating it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. There was black mold on the walls. The washroom was also unclean, with grime, stains, and an unpleasant smell, further adding to the overall discomfort. The state of the room made it clear that the cleaning standards were not being upheld, leading to an unhygienic and unwelcoming environment.

• Lye (1/5): Almost ruined my holiday - Nothing The location is not as near as claimed to be. Have to walk to a bridge and make a turn. It took about 15 minutes with luggage. The outside of the building and the surrounding looked bad. Very bad. Our room was occupied by someone else who said he would only check out the next day. We arrived early, no place to store our luggages and we have to lug our luggages 15 mins back to the station. Have to call the person to ask for code. No prior instructions given. Have to call the phone number they left on a piece of paper in the premise. In the end, we were offered a room that is listed for 3 people when the room we booked for is listed for 4 people. We gave up and checked into another hotel in order not to ruin our holidays. It was not cheap at all, charging close to CHF 1k for 2 nights for an accommodation, which to me, is unacceptable.

• Manu (1/5): Terrible experience - Location Hi, my latest stay in Switzerland booked through booking.com (aare studio 2) was one of the horrible experiences and stay we had. I stayed with my family (wife and parents). Our whole trip got ruined because of the condition of the place and the apartment we stayed) 1. The amenities listed in the apartment were not there in the apartment. False information in the listing. 2. The apartment wasn't cleaned, it didn't even had basic hygien. 3. No dishwasher but was listed. 4. No hairdryer but was listed. 5. The air conditioning was not working. 6. No salt. 7. I had booked for 4 people but the sofa bed wasnt cleaned and wasnt prepared. (Had to call the owner for this) 8. No blankts or bedspread for 4 people. 9. Not even towels in the bathroom. (Had to call the owner) 10. No tissues in the kitchen 11. All the utensils in the kitchen were used and not washed I urge for a full compensation and requested booking com to take strict action regarding the property. I have photos and videos as proof for all the points I made. If this is not solved then I would like to proceed legally. Looking forward for your answer. Regards, Manu S K
• Sairam (8/5): Awesome Interlaken staycation. With some TLC and regular maintenance, the property will be the goto stay place in Interl - Typical studio apartment overlooking lake Aare. Location and views are fantastic, Interlaken OST is a short walk from the property. Short walk to Harder Kulm attraction, grocery, dining and shopping. Kitchen with basic cutlery and oven was very handy. Interlaken guest cards were provided upon request. The blinds were broken on one of the back doors and could not roll down the large glass wall overlooking the lake. Fire stove was dismantled and in corner, could have been stowed away. A bathroom bin could have been useful. The cupboard shelves in the bathroom could do with fixing. Some more cutlery would have been ideal as we were family of four.
• Vijay (9/5): Great location and modern apartment - Location was great, free parking, kitchen was well equipped. The room was newly renovated and we were pleasantly surprised as it was much better than what we expected looking at the pictures. Great value for money. Check-in process could be much better and seamless. The owner seemed to have multiple such rooms in the same building to offer, hence seemed like an end moment decision of which room to give, just like a hotel but without a reception. Tip for fellow travellers - Although the host is responsive, please call him few hours ahead of your arrival to get the check-in instruction, room number, key details, etc.
• Cindy (4/5): Disappointing - We didn't get any check in information before we arrive the property. I have to contacted with the host and waited outside of the building till the host comes. Smell in the bath room and the blank are not clean.

Maybe should put a detailed instruction & description of the property; what is the landmark plus complete details such as apartment no.; guide on how to open the door so it would be much convenient
• Natalie (7/5): good stay, great view, for people who will be out and about for the most part. - Inside the room seems recently updated and the facility itself is right on the river. There's a gravel path right in front of the place, in one direction is a 15-minute walk from the main city part of Interlaken and 15-minutes the other way is a beautiful lake. There's a white-cap view right outside the sliding glass door and the views in Interlaken are gorgeous all around. This place is good for a small group looking for a cheaper option in Interlaken 1-4(max) people. There could have been better communication about check-in and check-out, I had to reach out for instructions and even then, those were not extremely clear. The sofa bed is not a pull-out couch but a small futon that was fine for two close friends to share for a few nights. Unfortunately, the outlets/lights did not work in the sofa bed area of the room for some reason, but we made it work and all is well. No separated rooms, just the main space and the bathroom. No wifi given.
