• Léa (10/5): - I needed somewhere close to St Pancras to catch an early train and this accommodation was perfect for it. Highly responsive and helpful owner, flat is very close to the station, the area felt safe, the check-in and check-out instructions are very clear, it was just what I was looking for

• Marion (8/5): Great find - I liked the location, the facilities and the price. I was a little nervous about access requiring the use of a mobile phone to find insteuctiins for locating a key, hate and several doors featured in a series of photographs but everything worked well. There is a lift to the sixth floor. There was one other guest with whom I shared bathroom and toilet. The kitchen was well supplied with tea, coffee and milk. Handy for local transport and shops. Nothing.

I was completely satisfied with everything except the elevator. - It was close to King's Cross Station, and I was able to use the women-only room, which was very comfortable. There's a kitchen and laundry facilities, so you can have a comfortable stay. The elevator broke down on the first day. I should have contacted the staff, but I was too busy to do so, so I had to carry my suitcase downstairs on my way out. If there’s a problem, you need to report it yourself.

• Henrietta (10/5): Fantastic stay - This was a great room! I really appreciated all the measures the landlord had taken to make it quiet, especially the foam strips along doors to stop them slamming (which is a major issue in similar kinds of rooms in London). The location is also perfect.
• Caroline Clarke (10/5): Perfect female only accomodation - Just perfect, loved the precise and helpful messages to access the property. Lovely and clean and I honestly can't fault it. Great facilities, very comfortable bed, use of kitchen and bathroom facilities. I felt very safe and comfortable. Perfect location to access public transport with a range of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. Loved being in the gated complex. If I ever come to London again, I would definately stay here. Thank you for this great female only accomodation. Nothing. It was all great.

No frills; perfect spot for sleep - Location is very. convenient to get around and especially if you want to be close to st pancras. it serves its purpose if you just need a place to sleep. its great value for what you pay for. instructions for check in check out are very thorough and there are detailed signs everywhere within the property about how to get on. did not use the kitchen much but you are free to use this as well if needed. not necessarily a negative but something to keep in mind and if you will be comfortable with the situation; that the bathroom; toilet and kitchen are shared. i was a little nervous sometimes to wake up to use the toilet for example so many signs reminding you to be very quiet at night.

• Melanie (10/5): - Das Hostel liegt sehr Zentral und nur kurze Schritte von Kings Cross entfernt. Der Einlass in das Hostel wurde mir super gut erklärt und ich kam zurecht. Der Freundliche Kommunikation und ich fühlte mich wohl. Fön und Handtücher waren vor Ort. Ich bin mit allem sehr zufrieden und buche es gerne wieder. Zur Küche kann ich nicht viel sagen, da ich sie nicht benutzte, es war eine vorhanden. LG Mel Das Wetter ;)

• Vanessa (9/5): Séjour calme, agréable et sécurisé - Résidence très sécurisée, calme et excellemment bien située à 9min de Saint Pancras et de King Cross station Emplacement idéal pour visiter Londres à l’écart de la goule. L’appartement est propre, la chambre simple mais correcte avec son verrou de sécurité. Dave, est un hôte discret, accueillant et très gentil. Le rideau de la chambre est un peu trop petit et malgré le store supplémentaire, il y a trop de lumière qui passe en plus de celle du couloir. Attention à l’eau chaude de la douche alternée entre chaud et froid. Le réglage et la pression sont à revoir.

Great comfortable chair to sit at the desk or watch the large TV. The kitchen is well stocked. Even has an airfryer. Great hot water with good pressure. Great location - 6 minutes walk to Kings Cross Station. Not far from shops on the other side of St. Pancras Old Church. Great Mexican restaurant over there.

I assumed that it would just be the two of us in the flat overnight, however the gentleman was there in the morning before I got up (it’s possible he arrived early but I think he could have been resident in the flat). I think it should be made clear if there is a male in residence. However I felt safe, the room had a lock and everything else was as described.

• Hunt (9/5): Clean, comfy and value for money! - The room and facilities were exceptionally clean and I felt safe there. The bedroom was a good size. It have everything I needed for the stay. It was value for money and the location was great, you can walk to Camden and tube stations are fairly nearby. Dave was a lovely host, very friendly. I like the use of toiletries in the bathroom and tea and coffee in the kitchen. The bed was comfy too! You have to remember this room is very cheap for London and you get what you pay for. The woman staying next door to me was quite noisy at night and when she came in. This is not the host's fault, but the the walls are rather thin. I think this place is very good value for money, but being honest I do prefer a hotel, but this is not fault of Dave's this is just my preference :)

Le quartier est calme. L'appartement est bien chauffé. La literie est propre. Pour ce prix à Londres c'est très bien ! Il aurait fallu passer l'aspirateur, au moins dans le couloir. Mais j'ai cru comprendre que la personne qui en est responsable a eu un imprévu le jour de mon arrivée. La déco c'est les goûts et les couleurs aussi. Ce n'est pas aménagé comme un hôtel, mais plutôt selon les goûts du propriétaire. Pour celles qui n'ont pas l'habitude : la pression dans la douche est aléatoire au UK. Il vaut mieux prendre la douche le soir.

My room was perfect, it was warm and cozy and i had Everything i needed, the bathroom was very clean and very well provided with Everything you need for the shower. The kitchen as well is very well provided with Everything you need for cooking. The positin is perfect, the bus stop is next to the house and you can reach saint pancreas station by foot in 10 min. I really loved it, i will return for sure!:)

• Fiona (10/5): Beautiful home and wonderful host, I would definitely stay again. - Mr Dave is a wonderful host with a beautiful home. Great room with plenty of floor space for luggage and belongings. Nice view over the nearby streets. Filtered water was available. I even had a comfy chair and desk to use my laptop on. Blockout blinds as well as curtains. Everything is super clean and tiny making the spaces very functional. Kitchen is fully equipped. Clear instructions for check in and clear signs on all the doors! Lots of power points. I felt safe knowing there were only female guests staying and felt quite safe walking home at night too. Mr Dave was very helpful with helping me work out luggage storage on my departure day as well. A bit of light came through the bottom of the door which I didn't realise so put something in front of the door gap when you are sleeping. Just note many different kinds of shampoo are available but no conditioner so bring your own.

Very comfy bed and easy lift access with clear instructions for self check-in. Dave and the housekeeper went above and beyond to assist me, even helping me with heavy luggage to the station.
• Maelle (9/5): Chambre agréable et bien situé - La chambre était très bien situé à 12 min à peine du métro King cross, c’était mon premier voyage seule et j’étais sereine au niveau de l’emplacement. Indication claire de l’hôte et réponse rapide si on a la moindre question. La chambre est assez spacieuse avec une grande télé, tout les rangements nécessaires avec un espace où l’on peut manger dans la chambre, il y avait même un sèche cheveux a disposition je n’ai manqué absolument de rien. Et c’était assez calme. La sécurité est assurée car chaque chambre a un code et à l’intérieur un crochet pour fermer. L’hôte est très gentil et m’a tout de suite demandé si tout était ok pour moi et est très discret cependant j’ai été très surprise de constater que l’hôte était un homme car ce n’était pas indiqué ou peut être que je n’ai pas été attentive mais j’ai choisi le logement car c’était exclusivement pour femme et comme j’étais seule pour la première fois à l’étranger pour moi c’était logique que se soit une femme et sur le coup c’est vrai que j’ai un peu été refroidi et eu un moment de stress au final j’ai stressé pour rien et je recommande à des femmes seule d’y aller les yeux fermés mais ça serai juste bien de préciser car cela surprend lorsqu’on voit un homme rentrer dans l’appartement. Mais je le répète aller y les yeux fermés. Matelas un peu mou mais c’est les préférences de chacun sinon c’était confortable dans l’ensemble

As an experienced traveler, I felt unsafe upon arrival and ultimately decided not to stay. I was informed by booking.com that there was CCTV I doubt that they worked though!! Firstly, accessing the property was quite difficult. Although the host provided photos of the key location, I struggled to find the entrance and had to rely on strangers for help, which was uncomfortable. Secondly, while the apartment was clean, it was quite cluttered and not very inviting. The room I was assigned was right opposite the kitchen, and there was an unpleasant odor that made it hard to imagine staying overnight. Thirdly, the cost was not reflective of the experience. It was not budget-friendly, and the quality did not match the price. In the end, I opted for a nearby Travelodge, just a short walk away, and it was a far more comfortable and worthwhile choice. Additionally, I attempted to communicate with the host multiple times throughout the day but received no timely response. I also noticed that previous reviews indicated that the host can be confrontational in replies. Therefore, I want to make it clear that I will not be responding to any replies. My intention is purely to share my experience to help others. I hope this feedback is helpful and provides clarity for future.

• Sheila (7/5): Fabulous location but this is not a guest house - it is a shared apartment - Fabulous location, very close to Kings Cross/St Pancras stations and 20 minute walk to Camden. Instructions on how to get to and into the apartment were very good. Apartment was very clean and facilities were good. This is advertised as a 'Guest House' for ladies. What it actually is, is an apartment where two bedrooms are rented out. The third bedroom is occupied by the gentleman who owns the apartment. I felt uncomfortable sharing a bathroom and toilet with a gentleman that I did not know. The gentleman was very nice and polite but the place is not as advertised.

Little table to sit at in the room too which was nice. Really comfortable soft bed. Polite and helpful owner. I generally prefer staying in hotels where I don't have to share toilet / bathroom but obviously that's not feasible with staying in this kind of property. I didn't have any issues with trying to access the toilet or bathroom here when I needed it though so it wasn't a big deal.

• Cochrane (10/5): A week in single mode in London as a tourist - Location to train & underground 12 min walk from Kings cross station & St pancs, also being in Camden it was a nice walk to the dock where the atmosphere of the street markets & eating places, plus a variety of shops that you don't see in a normal hi street, Sometimes as it was in a heavy populated housing block of flats you could here people arguing in the court yard or street level usually in the night time or very early mornings. But I suppose you get that anywhere these days people hanging around in the small park area intoxicated & begging . Very sad but this is every city & town now wherever you go.

I was not expecting to stay in a flat with two other rooms with coded locks. I was not given any idea if anyone else was likely to be staying there which I found a bit unnerving and I never met the owner, just communicated via WhatsApp with pictures to access the various locks and passes to get in. In the event it was fine but I would have preferred to know if anyone else was likely to be staying at the property for peace of mind. Please relate this to my scoring.

Location is perfect and the price is amazing for central London. I felt safe here with the flat building being behind locked gates. The check-in process is perfectly organized. There is everything you need in the kitchen. There is always one other guest and sometimes these guests were not respectful of other guests and the host, slamming doors and being loud. But this is not the host's fault. Loud people should pay for a hotel. The bed was a bit soft for my taste.
