• Jessica (4/5): You get what you pay for - The beds where comfortable and clean, location was easy to find. The customer service was fast contacting us back. Kitchen had the essentials was clean. The bathroom was filthy and falling apart there was pubes and dirty feet prints on the bath, ran out of toilet roll had to bring tissues from our room no replacements loo roll one roll between 7 rooms. The window where very thin and let in a lot of noise and drafts The location meant that it was very loud which is to be expected There was rubbish underneath my bed and stains on the wall when arrived. But the rooms where okay did what you needed
• robert (8/5): Basic comfort in a top location at a decent price. Want more? Pay more! - A good-sized room in a keyless-entry house. Everything was OK. Nothing especially stood out as being exceptional. The bed was comfortable. The keyless entry worked well. My room was a bit noisy as it faced the street, but it's slap bang in the centre of Camden, so that's hardly really surprising (and they left ear plugs out) Not a place for an early night, or lengthy lie-in then, but I don't suppose many come to Camden for the former at least! Basically - it does the job at a good price! The shared bathroom was on a different floor. Only a tiny toilet on the same floor as my room.
• Laura (4/5): Ok pour une nuit pas plus - L’emplacement est bien pour être proche du métro et de Euston ainsi que de nombreux restaurants et supérettes La chambre est assez sale dans son ensemble , murs rempli de saleté et moquettes à shampouiner. Je suis resté 5 jours et pas une seule fois la poubelle ou autre n’a été changé. Le salle de bain est très ancienne et mériterait un coup de propre. Il y a beaucoup de bruits tôt le matin et tard le soir

• Claude (2/5): Très décevant, malgré une note de 7,4 sur booking - Emplacement Chambre triple (6) très petite, la moquette sale, la douche très petite et fonctionne mal, moisissures etc, la salle de bains avec baignoire est à rénover complètement les photos parlent d’elles mêmes.

Kuchyňka měla alespoň standardní nádobí, Minipokoj - mezi postelí a zdí (od dveří) byl pás 200x50cm prostoru a to bylo vše (resp. z druhé strany postele cca 20cm zděný odstup do výšky základny postele). Chápu že šlo o single pokoj, ale 20cm na šířku navíc ze strany od dveří by bylo lepší aby se člověk mohl trochu pohnout. Ve sprše (horní patro) tekla extrémně horká voda bez možnosti regulace (kohoutek na to byl, ale nefungoval) a kohoutek u umyvadla kapal a šel zatáhnout jen extrémní silou.

• Brace (10/5): - Close to the centre of Camden town. Ideal if you're going to a gig and need a place to stay for the night. Simple comfy room and secure with digital locks. Motion light in the hallway kept coming on by itself throughout the night which would shine through the gaps around the door but not overly bothersome.

No me gustó el estado de la ducha de abajo, creo que deberian de arreglarlo seriamente, pintar, mantenerlo sin humedades, creo que es mínimo. No me gusta nada la costumbre que tienen en UK de poner moqueta en el suelo, requiere de una buena higiene como mínimo.

• Britta (6/5): For one night in central London ok - The location is great, in the middle of bustling Camden. It was easy to find and get into, with the instructions sent by the owner. For the location it's good value for money. The room was very small and the house is clean but not very well maintained. I'm aware that it's an old house, but i stayed in another house from the same time period in another location on this trip, and that house was in much better condition.

• Kizzie (8/5): Great Value for Money - It was easy to find and very central in Camden, near everything we needed. Great system of access codes to get in, lovely communication from booking. Facilities good. The room was exceptionally hot and stuffy, the heater was on with the window closed and it wasn't a cold day, had to air it out and leave the fan on to cool it down to a bearable temperature.

Room was OK clean wise, how ever, bed was uncomfortable, loo was horrible and very small, room 10 had the pillow under the bed on the carpet, had to lend one of the pillows from my room. No TVs, although a kettle was supplied in a grubby kitchen, couldn't bring myself to drink it. Personally, and even though it's in London, i felt that this place would suit backpackers, and the price is too much for what you get,

• Jonas (9/5): Fantastico! - The location is perfect, and the accommodation is exactly as described. The price-quality ratio is excellent. I had read some reviews from people complaining about city noise, but I personally barely noticed any of it. Earplugs were also provided just in case, which was a nice touch. For this price, you really can’t go wrong in London. The check-in process was very smooth, clearly explained, and easy to follow.
• Martine (9/5): Séjour de 4 nuits à Camden town - Emplacement idéal sur Camden, quartier dynamique et vivant, calme la semaine animé le week-end. Chambre minimaliste sans bouilloire ni télé. Douches et toulettes partagées. Bonne communication avec équipe assurant la gestion. Codes partout. Chambre très petite, rangement succinct. La fenêtre ne s'ouvre pas pour aérer. Pas de vue sur l'extérieur. Sur une des deux salles de bain, quasi impossible de régler la température de la douche, trop chaude.

Unfortunately we ended up in the tiny basement room with a low ceiling an halfway under the stairs facing to the road. Down on that level it was very noisy. The earplugs provided helped. That was a thoughtful plus. The shared bathrooms were not inviting to have shpwers in.

• Johannes (6/5): Basic accommodatie op een goede locatie in Camden. - Goede locatie in Camden, loopafstand van stations, winkels en pubs. Kamer was ok, grootte was goed en bed was ok. De kamer lag aan de straatkant dus er was wel wat lawaai van het verkeer en uitgaanspubliek maar het viel ons mee. Keuken was ok. Maar voor mensen die er zouden willen eten, je kunt er niet zitten. Het 2 persoonsbed was smal (ik schat 130 cm) en kort (190 cm) dus minder geschikt voor lange en forse mensen. Het raam kon niet open. De rookmelder was afgedekt met een plasticzak, dat vonden we nogal vreemd. Vanwege het hoge plafond konden we die ook niet verwijderen. Gedeelde badkamer was erg oud, met name het bad met de douche erin. Wordt waarschijnlijk wel schoongemaakt maar ziet er toch niet erg schoon uit vanwege de ouderdom. Vaak zijn gedeelde badkamers met WC geen probleem, hier helaas wel omdat iemand het nodig vond de klep helemaal vol te piesen. Jammer. Al met al is het schokkend dat je in Londen dit bedrag betaalt voor een hotel van deze kwaliteit.

• Jaq (1/5): Horrific! - If I could give this property a zero rating I would. The property is old, run down and on a busy street. Avoid rooms 6 (basement with mould) and 7 (ground floor with headboard against front door). Before I paid I asked for and was told I was on the first floor and was put in room 7 on the ground floor between a constantly banging front door (no slow closure on door), a noisy kitchen and a constant cacophony of street traffic; cars, lorries, buses, people, loud music and pubs open until 4am!. The property only has single glazed windows throughout = noisy and cold. The washing machine and drier are both full 24/7 with the cleaners room sheets and towels and are very noisy. There are no fire escape instructions and none of the interior doors are your standard fireproof doors. Waste of my time contacting the 'landlord' and booking.com. I didn't sleep for 9 long nights.

• Rob (7/5): - Based on cost it was great, I do think looking a little tired. The bed was comfortable. The shower near room 9 - I couldn't get it to cool slightly and was rather hot. The hand basin plug seemed to be stuck so couldn't fill the basin with water. The toilet on the floor below the hand basin in their didn't appear to have a plug at all which made it difficult to have a wet shave.

• JENNIFER (5/5): Price, location and rooms are great... But the rest isn't ok - The location is really nice, in the heart of Camden. The room was big, super clean, and the beds were really comfortable. - Super noisy : our room ( number 8 on the first floor) was overlooking the street, and it was like we were ON the street, even with the windows closed and the thermic curtains closed. The wooden simple glazed windows are old and let all the sounds pass through. Since there is high traffic in this street and a lot of sirens (ambulances, police), it was a challenge to manage to sleep well. I barely closed an eye during our two nights stay. - Dirty common areas : the common bathrooms were quite unclean (but mainly it's because of the other guests who let hair in the shower/bath and even bloody phlegm without cleaning after them). There was black mold on the corners of the shower, and also tartar on every sanitary facility. The toilets were ok. - Overall, the house begs for a big refresh. The wall paintings, the floors, the bathrooms, the carpeting which covers all the stairs need serious renovation.

• Blah Blah (1/5): - Nothing I had maggots in my room, the owner was not helpful at all and only brought up excuses, it was moldy, to loud and I had to pay another accommodation and to move in the middle of the night - so far I haven't received a refund - I would never ever stay in that place anymore it's a serious health hazard

• Markus (5/5): - Das Apartment war für die dortigen Verhältnisse günstig, ich habe allerdings kurzfristig gebucht. Es liegt zentral und ist nicht weit entfernt von der Haupteinkaufsstraße in Camden. Das Zimmer hatte ungefähr 2x3 m, das Bett hat reingepasst, ebenso ein Ventilator und ein wackeliger Garderobenständer. Ist halt eng, hat mich aber überhaupt nicht gestört, das das Bett auch in Ordnung war. Toilette /Dusche auch klein, was mich aber wirklich gestört hat war die kaputte Dusche, da man dort die Temeperatur nicht regulieren konnte und man sich verbrühen musste, wenn man sich nicht schnell genug geduscht hat, solange noch kaltes Wasser aus dem Hanh kam.

The room had everything we needed for a q - Everything was covered in the room, fan, tissues, hairdryer, wet wipes, ear plugs and ample towels as well as being in central Camden. As well as a toilet/shower room there was a separate toilet 👍 There was nothing to complain about

• Manon (4/5): Je ne recommande pas - L’emplacement est top Arrivée simple La chambre était absolument pas accueillante, très petite et très sale. Il y’avait de la poussière partout et des cheveux. Les serviettes été tachées ainsi que les draps. La fenêtre de notre chambre ne se fermait pas, pas top les jours de pluies. La lumière dans le couloir est restée allumée toute la nuit et comme les portes ne vont pas jusqu’au sol, cela était dérangeant. Bref, je ne pense pas y retourner un jour
• DOMINIQUE (8/5): bien - Bon emplacement si vous appréciez CAMDEN ce qui a été notre cas, ligne de bus dans la rue, supermarché ALDI à des prix très corrects ,nombreuses prêts à manger, restau et boutique de souvenir moins cher qu'à Londres pour les mêmes articles. la maison est très propre , les lits corrects, espace commun et toilettes nettoyés tous les jours. cuisine appréciable pour faire quelques repas. La rue est bruyante la nuit et le matin de bonne heure, prévoir des boules quiès.

• Jay (10/5): Another very good stay in Camden. - For this stay, I had the larger of the two single rooms. The desk and chair were useful to have, as were the shelf and hangers. Bed was comfy, and it was quiet with it being at the back of the house. I'm also confused by the complaints of the top floor shower. I must have used it at least 20 times over my three stays and never had any issues.

• Carole (7/5): - Le logement est très bien situé à Camden Town. Il y a une salle de bain partagée à chaque étage et 2 chambres seulement par étage . La propriétaire est très disponible et agréable . La chambre donnait sur la rue . Très très bruyante jusqu’à tard le soir et très tôt le matin :(
• Thom (7/5): Great value, comfortable and fine for a night or two. - Equidistant from Mornington Crescent and Camden tube stations - easy walk to either. Plenty of food and shop options near by. The street was quiet enough and getting around was easy. I walked to from St Pancras which took about 15 minutes. The room was simple - bed, drawers, clothes stand and a towel. It had a fan, hairdryer and lamp. Bed was comfortable and no issues there. Fine for a night or two. Great value. Getting in and out was easy - door codes for building and room. Toilets on every floor and 2 bathrooms with showers. I liked the area and would stay at this place again. The sliding door to the bathroom on the top floor was broken and very noisy when opened/closed. The shower head could not be attached to the wall. I just used the shower in the basement bathroom instead.

Hi havia humitat, l’habitació era petita i claustrofòbica i estava a sota del nivell de la carretera. Sincerament, tot malament!

• Lorenzo (5/5): Amazing location but could be cleaner - I was in Camden for a gig, and the location is amazing, right 2 minutes from the tube station and the markets. Checking in very easy, I received a code and enter in the building and room. Great for a night but not longer. The room was very small (and this was expected, but take into consideration that you won't have space for more than a backpack). The real problem is that one of the towels smelled like mold, clearly not been washed. Pillow case quite smelly as well, it really made me doubt that towels and sheets were not been changed. The light in the corridor was going on every few minutes during the night, lighting up the room. Honestly, the biggest issue was that I didn't feel the room to be cleaned enough, full of dust and staines on the floor and on the bed sheet. Communication was ok, I reported an issue but did not get update and neither it was fixed.
• Jan (7/5): Günstige, nüchterne Unterkunft für Minimalansprüche - - Sehr nah and der Station "Camden Town" - Ruhige Nebenstraße - Restaurants, Cafes, Camden Lock fußläufig - Unkomplizierte, nüchterne Abwicklung (PIN für Haus und Zimmer pünktlich erhalten) - Bett war sehr hart, was mir aber gut gefallen hat - Fön und Handtücher auf dem Zimmer - Für eine Nacht völlig in Ordnung, wenn man keine hohen Ansprüche hat (siehe unten) - Durchgehend schneller, freundlicher Kontakt mit Anbietern... -... die aber nie persönlich in Erscheinung treten - sehr warm im Zimmer, Ventilator zwar vorhanden, aber extrem laut - Haus, Zimmer und Bad sehr klein (aber das war für mich kein Problem) - Separates WC im Obergeschoss lässt sich nur nutzen, wenn man keine Unterschenkel besitzt (Tür etwa 10cm vom Sitz entfernt) - Kein Duschgel vorhanden (obwohl ich vorher extra gefragt hatte), Shampoo nur als Sammelsurium in Resten (von Gästen vergessen?) vorhanden - Duschwasser nur kochend heiß oder eiskalt (oder war ich zu dumm?), keine Ablagemöglichkeit oder Haken im Bad - Ganz schlimm: Bewegungsmelder im Flur kaputt: dadurch ist das Flurlicht dauerhaft an und geht alle 20 Sekunden für ca. 3 Sekunden aus. Da die Türen große Spalte haben, wirkt es, als ob ein Leuchtturm im Zimmer steht. Bitte dringend beheben! - Sauberkeit oberflächlich ok, aber kleine eingetrocknete Spritzflecken am Bett waren nicht schön. - Sehr hellhörig. Einzelzimmer direkt neben dem Bad. Bringen Sie Ohrstöpsel mit!

• noemi (10/5): Let’s go there for a cheap but honest staying in Camden - The position was very nice, mattress was comfy and the room was so clean! We had enough towels and the position is literally amazing. Nothing. It was completely worth it for what we paid.
• manchal (6/5): affordable stay at a good location - location was great and the beds were comfortable to sleep in our room was on the third floor and moving heavy luggage after a tiring trip wasn't easy

• alexie (7/5): Nice cosy room in Camden centre - Small cosy room very close centre of Camden. Five minutes walk from the tube station. The host was very quick to respond and dealt with any issues very promptly, communication was excellent. The room was ready upon my arrival and the place was very clean. This is more of an FYI than something I didn't like. The property has shared spaces, kitchen, bathrooms etc but there doesn't appear to be a communal area (lounge etc) that I could see. The room was also small. This was perfect as I was just staying for one night. However if anyone is planning planning on staying for longer and wants somewhere where they can lounge around rather than being out all day this may not be suitable. Saying this, i was very happy and would definitely book again if just staying for the night.

• Taliesin Engineering ltd (3/5): Very basic room that is overpriced. - It's relatively close to the centre of Camden. The triple Room we booked was tiny, no room to put suitcases anywhere. The shared bathroom is in disrepair. The seal on the shower screen is long broken and the floor gets very wet after using the shower. The skirting is rotten as a result. A grubby experience.
