- Debbie (10/5): Super 1 bed apartment Home from Home - Everything was great , when I arrived there was no full length mirror or an iron or ironing board, called the owner, had all 3 with in 3 hours. Lovely and clean very quiet other than the odd train going by . Would use again , stayed here for 11 days it felt like being at home, fantastic that you can do your washing, N/A
- Libby (7/5): Lovely views - Lovely location and stunning views. If you don’t know where you’re going you might get stuck but I rang the man and he gave me directions. Shower wasn’t that powerful and was spraying everywhere from the top as I don’t think it was screwed on properly but I couldn’t screw it back on so who knows. WiFi doesn’t work that well and Netflix is very slow and kept turning off but apart from that it was really nice and comfy.

Super practical and great view It was perfect. My colleagues paid more than double for a small room at the Hilton. I will book it again.

- Susan (8/5): Good value, basic, clean flat in good location. - It is a lovely little flat with all you need for a visit to Excel. The host was thoughtful and responsive. The flat was basic but clean. Good value for money. I would stay again if the heating could be sorted out! I was really cold! The temperature did not increase even though I increased the thermostat as instructed. The radiators remained cold and never came on at all. Apparently there was a fan heater but I could find no way for it to do anything but blow cold air.

- Chris (10/5): All in all an excellent base if staying in London! - Good location with very easy access to the DLR and, hence, into London. The local area was quiet but with several restaurants and cafes in the area for eating out as well as there being several small grocery stores close to hand for those self-catering. With the DLR close by, of course, it was very easy to venture further afield if one feels the need or to visit City attractions. A well appointed kitchen and the apartment itself was spotless with a simple, modern layout. All in all an excellent base if staying in London providing a quiet retreat with almost zero road traffic. Not a dislike but worth noting - being close to both rail and air links (London City airport is visible in the distance) there is some quite limited noise associated with both if the balcony door is open. With the door closed, after 10 minutes? Didn't even notice it at all! I guess, if you want complete silence, you'll stay in the Lake District or somewhere similar ...... but, be warned, you'll be amazed at just how noisy sheep can be! I know from experience!!!!!!!

- Jose (4/5): Great Location, not an amazing experience in the apartment however. - Location was very convenient from the Excel which i had a gig at. The property was not cleaned properly due to it being done when we arrived so all rushed. One of my babies blankets was just removed from the apartment so I don’t have it anymore. No communication from the host to let me know the apartment wasn’t ready at check in time (even a couple of hours after that) so I had to get my family to sit in a filthy apartment while it was being cleaned. The apartment wasn’t really cold without a way to change the temperature on the system or switch on heating. My babies had to sleep in their jackets due to the blanket being taken. Definitely not ideal.
- Darren (10/5): Lovely, clean, well placed apartment - I've stayed here a couple of times now and I will happily do so again. Collection of the keys was simple and from a nearby location just a few minutes walk from the apartment. All info was sent in advance and very clear. The location is nicely placed next to Custom House station giving access to both the DLR and Elizabeth line services, and it is just a short walk to Royal Victoria DLR also. The apartment is small, but spacious enough for 2 people although on both occasions I stayed I was travelling alone. It is very clean, and well kitted out with everything you need including smart tv and wifi. The balcony is a nice addition with views out towards the Excel and Sunborn. The host is extremely helpful and responds very quickly to any questions or issues.
The only thing to bare in mind is that the apartment is located on the 11th floor. There are 2 lifts, however, as I found on on my first stay it can be a trek if these are out of action for any reason. Upon checkout on my first stay both lifts were out of order for servicing and I had to lug all my luggage and work equipment down the 11 flights of stairs. But a very small niggle for such a lovely and well placed apartment.
