Guest Reviews
- Jerome (9/5): The perfect getaway location for relaxing and regenerating holiday. Away from the hustle of the west coast resorts - Villa has everything you’d need to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay on the Island. The pool & bar areas are ideal for relaxing Villa days and offer the prefect retreat from the hustle & bustle of the main island resorts. The local beaches are limited due to the location on the east side of the Island and can be covered in very bad smelling seaweeds.
Beware that local roads are in very poor condition.
While the Villa is starting to show its age a little it’s nothing a good refresh can’t sort out.
- Christopher (9/5): Private Pool & Beautiful Ocean Breezes - The private pool is wonderful. The villa is very nice, open, spacious, and airy. I enjoyed the location as it is a bit more "rustic" and authentic (but others may want to be closer to the "tourist action"). Tons of privacy & the neighbors that were there were super friendly. A/C worked great in the bedrooms. There is no A/C in the main living room, but there is a breeze off the ocean, so it wasn't necessary (just open the balcony door!). For surfers, you are about 20-30 minutes from Soup Bowls (by car), about the same distance to the South Coast, and probably a little longer to the West Coast (if that is working). I have no complaints. The bed was a bit hard, but it was fine. This wouldn't deter me from recommending the place and/or staying there again. I'm not a "lie on the beach all day" kind of person, but if you want to walk to the beach, this is not the place for you - you will need a car (which I recommend in Barbados anyway - it's a cool island w/ lots to see).
- paul (1/5): Shocking - Unfortunately, not a lot.
Evenings were calm & quiet. Our stay at this property was, unfortunately, a deeply disappointing shocking experience.
While Shawn, the manager, was attentive and helpful, the condition of the property itself fell far below expectations. The most significant issue was the relentless, penetrative, and intrusive construction work taking place on two adjacent sites. The constant noise and disruption made it impossible to relax and ultimately overshadowed the entire stay.
Although the owner acknowledged these issues and offered compensation, this has yet to be honoured, which has only added to our frustration.
Beyond this, the property is in clear need of substantial renovation. Several aspects raised serious safety concerns, particularly for families with young children. We encountered broken electrical sockets and fittings, as well as door locks and windows of extremely poor quality that were difficult—if not impossible—to operate securely. As a result, we felt it necessary to carry valuables with us at all times.
The outdoor areas were equally neglected. The poolside landscaping was shabby and virtually non-existent, with worn, dirty surroundings and uneven paving that posed a genuine hazard. The shower facilities were also substandard and poorly maintained.
In summary, despite the efforts of the on-site manager, the property itself is in a state of disrepair and did not provide a safe or enjoyable environment. Regrettably, this was an extremely negative experience. Never again !

- Norman (10/5): First class villa offering true taste of Barbados - First class villa offering great value accommodation which was clean and located in a quieter area of the Island. Not too long a drive to reach beaches and other places to visit. Hire car essential. Other than a small store and a few local food outlets, which were excellent, nothing was within walking distance. Property manager was very helpful and checked everything was ok during our stay. Overall very happy with the accommodation. Although the villa provided everything we needed for a party of eight, certain areas require a bit of tlc. Door locks and windows, tricky to open and lock. Landscaping at pool area uneven and tired looking and the showers appear to have a mind of their own. Having said that, really very minor and didn't spoil our stay and the villa. I would happily book the villa again.
- sarah (6/5): Pool wasn’t useable . Single beds too uncomforta in had to sleep on sofa. - Good size, kitchen and clean Pool had dead frogs floating in and needed maintained around it so we couldn’t go in it.
Single beds too uncomfortable to sleep in but double was ok.
- Daniela (10/5): A lovely stay! - This Villa was so good! We went as a family of 5 and there was more than enough space to do everything. Shawn was very welcoming and even accompanied us to the spring nearby. The house was nice and clean and so was the pool! My kids had an amazing time in the pool until late evenings. Everything was so lovely, I would definitely recommend it.
- Henry (10/5): Exceptional - The pool was great, the rooms were spacious and you could hear the waves crashing in the distance. Very easy check-in and great assistance from Shawn!
- Patrick (8/5): Great relaxation spot. - Far enough away from the touristy parts of the island but easy enough to access them when wanting to go to the beach or dinner. Pool and villa were clean and stocked with plenty of towels and a washing machine. Neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. A great place to relax.
- Alyssa (8/5): Very good -
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing and modern house. It is stunning decorated!! The pool area is really cool. The location is barely lighten at night, so you can watch the stars from the pool at night; In the morning you can watch monkeys playing outside the house. We loved it!! It is not that central located, but with a car its really easy to access every place you would want. All the beaches are maximum 20-35 minutes away. For us it wasnt a problem.
- Kadeem (8/5): Very good -
- Makeda (10/5): Exceptional - The location was quiet and peaceful. The villa was clean and tidy. Will definitely recommend
- Damian (8/5): Perfect to get away - It was very cozy, perfect for a family and couples. Streaming services were included, there were board games available. Everything was provided, It felt like home. I didn't like that there was no air conditioning. The breeze may only be good for people used to this climate.
- Ramona (9/5): Superb -
- Rochelle (10/5): Exceptional -
