The listing calls it “Bright & Cosy”—a more accurate name would be Damp, Freezing, and Deceptive. From the moment you step inside, you’re hit with the overwhelming stench of mould and damp. There is no heating, no hot water, and absolutely no parking despite what the listing implies. The so-called “driveway” is completely unusable, covered in rubbish and a skip bin, leaving you to fend for yourself on the street—where I ended up with a £130 parking fine.
I reported the heating and hot water issue immediately, and they sent someone over the first night who barely spoke English. No big deal—thankfully, I had Google Translate. But the “fix” lasted about 10 minutes before everything shut off again. For the next three nights, I was left in a freezing, damp, unlivable space, despite multiple phone calls and emails to the property managers. Their response? Nothing but excuses.
To top it off, when I raised the parking fine issue—caused by their misleading listing and unusable driveway—I was bluntly told they wouldn’t be covering it. So in the end, I paid £628 to freeze in a mould-ridden dump with no heat, no hot water, and no help from the management.
This place should be removed from Booking.com immediately. Until then, book at your own risk—but if you value your health, your money, and your sanity, stay far away!
- Joanhes (1/5): Bad - Nothing My entire stay was chaotic. There was no hot water. The boilers did not work. A technician had to intervene after 9 p.m. despite having fixed the water was lukewarm, it was cold. The heaters did not work, and to finish the key box no longer opened it was a truly horrible stay. Please never book this place.
