Guest Reviews
- Helene (9/5): - Likte veldig godt takterrassen!
- David (9/5): -
- Michał (6/5): Pleasant - Terrace that is very picturesque and you have it on everyday basis. You can see at least two architectural masterpieces from that view.
Absolutely perfect location between Rialto and Accademia.
Basic set in the kitchen if you'd want to make the dinner in the apartment.
We could check in into the apartment earlier.
Atmosphere. A lot of mosquitos. There was supposed to be a device against them but we didn't find such. Mosquitoes repellers we found didn't really work.
We only got one duvet and the bed linen wasn't washed properly – some yellow stains etc. Also we found random towel maybe after previous people in the apartment. Inside of cabinets are dirty and dusted, especially in the bathroom.
Not enough toilet papers for a week visit.
Because of the location it can be loud during the night, even when you're not in the typical tourist season. But usually it calms down around midnight.
You have to turn on the hot water in the kitchen to have it as well under the shower in the bathroom.
- Corina (7/5): Good - The location and the terrace. There was a 50 EUR over-charge for late check-in. Maybe we didn't check when booking, but the property is in the attic - a lot of stairs to climb, so beware if you have a bigger suitcase. The bed is comfy, but it's strangely positioned, right under the low ceiling. You can pull it on a metallic axe towards the middle of the room, but this means that one person who's next to the wall has to climb over the other person to use the facilities. The bathroom is very small. It has everything it needs, but if you're not careful you can hurt yourself. there's very little light in the room. It's not very clean - there was a lot of dust and there's minimal to no investment made in the overall furniture in the kitchen. Going up on the terrace can feel unsafe, as there's no railing for the stairs, just a decorative net, and there are a lot of places where you can bump your head while going up the stairs. I normally would not mind any of these, but the price was so steep for what was offered that for the first time travelling to Venice I felt very let down.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Krzysztof (10/5): A successful holiday in Venice. - The apartment is phenomenal in terms of location and terrace. Nearby there are grocery stores, pharmacy and many restaurants. Right next door there is a great bakery (great idea for breakfast), ATM and many souvenir shops.
The apartment is located in the attic so it has a nice atmosphere of old Venice and at the same time there is everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen, washing machine, microwave, TV, air conditioning. If you go in winter the heating is very efficient and works almost immediately after turning on. The bed is large and comfortable. It can be very easily moved so that during the day it stands against the wall and does not interfere and at night it can be moved to the middle of the room so you don't risk hitting your head on the ceiling. A separate issue is the terrace - breakfast with a view of the roofs of Venice is a great beginning of the day.
Mrs. Nicole, who gave us the keys, was very nice and when she heard that we had arrived in the city in the morning she herself allowed us to check in earlier.
As for the stairs mentioned by other guests, they were not a problem for us. Of course, it is the fourth floor, so you have to "climb" a bit. After the first day, we also got used to the sloping ceiling. For us everything was good.
- Catherine (7/5): Good -
- Tom (10/5): Fantastic place, highly recommended. Would certainly stay again. - Absolutely gorgeous place, all amenities one could need, and the most beautiful rooftop to both start and finish the day!!
- Alina (7/5): Good - Location, rooftop Small space, if you’re high more then 1.8 meters it’s not your option
- Robert (6/5): cramped inconvenient hell but would be super cool for a young backpacker w/o much stuff. - Location was incredible once we were settled, and the room was neat. Beautiful terrace. Like i said the location was good ,but so hard to get to. DO NOT BOOK if you have lots of heavy luggage. We had been in italy for weeks for we had lots of luggage including purchases and it was a living hell getting to the location and getting the luggage up the stairs and there is no one to help. four flight of stairs. I guess i knew that going in but was not prepared for how awful it would be. I was constantly banging my head on the ceiling and the bathroom is like a sardine can.
- Luis (9/5): Superb - The bathroom is quiet small.
- Ágnes (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tassos (8/5): Very good - Excellent location and well equipped flat - one thing to bear in mind if you are considering to book: if you are large/tall/big you will find the flat and its access somewhat challenging: steep stairs/narrow staircase, limited space in bathroom, low ceiling around the edges of the flat. Otherwise all very nice!
- George (2/5): Not what we paid for - The apartment itself was fine and more modern than expected, but not the one we paid for or saw in the photos Very bad experience. We waited for 1.5 hours to get the keys after our check-in window. We attempted calling and texting the number provided. It took 1 hour to get a response when we were rudely told our room was overbooked. They cleaned a different room nearby for us to use. This different room was smaller, darker, and did not have the terrace we paid for. The "bed" was an old creaky pullout couch.
Extremely disappointed that we had to sit with our luggage in the middle of Venice and miss a chance at a sunset gondola ride. We were refunded a small amount, but I expected better handling. Nicole, who gave us the keys, kindly apologized while the owners/company refused to return any contact from us or accept any blame for the inconvenience.
- Randy (7/5): Good - Close to everything. Fun atmosphere. Absolutely LOVED spending time on the roof top! The stairs are rough, especially with luggage. Not ideal for anyone with bad legs or in poor health. AC struggled to keep the entire apartment cool and there are no shutters or widow covers over the bed widows. This is something that can be easily addressed by management.
- Mark (10/5): A fabulous stay in a really good apartment in a great location. Awesome! - Great communication from Nicole as to when the keys would be available.
Great space in a nice, quiet location yet so close to all the sights.
The roof terrace is absolutely gorgeous. We sat up there with a couple of drinks at night and on our last night even had a meal up there. A magical way to end our trip to Venice. There are 4 flights of stairs to reach the apartment but that was expected and is only really an issue on arrival with the suitcases.
There was nothing about the apartment we didn’t like and would recommend to anyone.
- Suresh (5/5): Good for young couple. Not so for old people. - I went with high hopes based on the pictures. But it is not the same as you can imagine from the pictures.
Maria was great. She was available all the time to help any issues. Have to go up 4 floors. Had a 20kg suitcase to drag up to the top floor. No lifts. You can imagine how hard it can be. It definitely hurts the back.
There is an air cooler to combat the heat. But it is vented out to the staircase. So staircase is filled up with heat generated by the air cooler !! As soon as you open the door, it hits you !
