Guest Reviews
- Diane (9/5): Overall a very positive experience! - The location and security of the building were great! Great views from the 30th floor! Check in and check out was easy! The fact we could only have one key was an issue, something I think should be reconsidered for future tenants.
- Leif (5/5): It served its purpose but I wouldn't do it again. Not horrible but certainly not brilliant. - The view was really nice, and the couch was comfy. The location was fantastic for what we needed. It was easy to get to via Uber, and the IGA being underneath was really convenient.
Being able to secure our bags in the cloak room at the convention center where we were attending was a bonus. The apartment didn't feel like it was looked after. The light in the main bedroom didn't work, the window didn't shut properly, so it whistled all night, which is great when you're 30 stories up, especially when a storm hits.
There was no heating/ aircon control, and the extraction fan in the bathroom was so full of dust that it started coming out mid-shower. You can tell the place hasn't seen a proper refresh in a long time. It just felt aged and unloved.
- Erica (6/5): On the whole a clean comfortable place for a short stay close to everything and everything essential you need was provid - It was convenient and
Close to attractions check in and check out details were very easy . Parking was easy . Great view No smart Tv and no channel
7 . In 2026 when you want a relaxing so nothing watch movies kinda of weekend to relax or watch the football . A plasma TV was the most disappointing thing in the apartment … a must upgrade to another Tv..
switches and bed room
Lights and fixtures old and not
Working … blinds definitely need an upgrade . Bed side tables need an upgrade . No air con remote had turn on at the power station .

- Scott (3/5): Good location, but overpriced, given the unit's poor condition. - Great location and good views 1. The a/c was on full blast, so felt like 16C in the unit the whole stay. It was freezing. We had no way of turning it down, so had to hurdle under doona's on the couch every night. Advised the Manager - Advante Homes on Day 2. They never did anything about if for the remaining 9 days we were there (we never saw them).
2. Unit in fair condition: light in main bedroom broken and not working; venetian blinds were broken; carpets/couch were badly stained; TV was an old analogue TV with poor reception - considering we paid $336/night. Unit needs a full refurbishment.
3. There was nowhere to leave bags upon 10am departure
- Shane (4/5): Overpriced and little value for money - Location I didn’t like the organisation of the keys I didn’t like the main bedroom had no light the carpet was dirty I sat my luggage on the floor and it dirtied my luggage I think people with these apartments want all the money but no maintenance or proper value included like the furniture was uncomfortable and the bed photos are deceiving

- Vicki (3/5): Terrible - Not comfortable, cold not enough blanket’s badly needs some attention … ironing board had cover ?
- Phillip (7/5): -
- Sue (7/5): Our stay was ok but would have been very good if the bathroom light and exhaust fan worked. - Bathroom light and exhaust fan wasn’t working, we reported it on first day but still not fixed when we left.
- Hendro (8/5): Overall it is good - Location is good,… near to Crown hotel with casino.
Easy to get tram yo city The shower needs to be fix
- Thaddeus (2/5): Worst place that I’ve stayed in Melbourne over the last 15 years. - Room hadn’t been cleaned properly. Bedsheets were disgusting. Bathroom light didn’t work. Tried to contact the host with no response all weekend.
- Patricia (6/5): Pleasant - Location was excellent There was a leak from the kitchen area. Floor was wet
- Cazzb (9/5): Clean and Comfortable - The location is excellent. Clean and comfortable. We have stayed here a few times and this one was the best, the little things have been fixed, it was very clean and beds as always very comfortable. Communication from hosts has not gotten any better. They are friendly and helpful, but take a little while to answer any questions. Don't panic if they don't get back to you straight away..
As for the apartment, the only complaint would be the blinds in the bedrooms. They let a lot of early morning light in.
- Kim (7/5): Issues that should be fixed. Would help next guests - We like the space it provided. The beds were ok.
Very convenient location for us No contact as we had issues. Felt very dirty. Towels smelled. Extremely cold. Not enough blankets. Not enough heating. Dirty carpet. Fan in bathroom did not work. Fan above oven didn’t work. Frypan needs replacement. Dirty dishes. Leaky tap left lots water on bench.
- Gail (2/5): Highly disappointed - Location is the only positive Was meant to receive check in details half an hour prior to check-in time (3.00pm). We had to call to get check-in information sent to us which is fine as it was sorted rather quickly. Collection of keys is from a near-by IGA (metered street parking required if you are arriving by car) with a code provided to you with the check-in information. This is where everything went down hill for us. We arrived at the IGA at around 3.35pm (35 minutes after allocated check-in time) where we were told by IGA staff that the code we had been given was incorrect. We tried calling customer service many times to no avail, and were hung-up on as no one answered in time. We tried for about 20 minutes at the IGA, when a set of keys was handed in. Lo and behold, these were the keys to our accommodation…. They hadn’t even been handed back yet. We finally got the keys at around 4pm.
Upon checking into the accommodation, it was obvious that it had only just finished being cleaned as the whole place smelt of bleach. The apartment was reasonably clean on a surface level however the carpet and couch are heavily stained, the grout has mould in it, the washing machine had mould in it and when the bleach smell had worn off there was a foul sewage odour coming from the bathroom so the door had to be kept closed. The central heating also doesn’t work and the Venetian blinds are damaged in both rooms allowing light and temperature into the room. There was also no spare linen for if you are cold.
Check-out was also difficult - the instructions said to leave the keys on the dining room table… with no way to lock the door? You also need the keys to get into the garage, so need to move your car onto the street (metered parking required) before you drop the keys off.
The location was convenient however for the price and quality of the room, I certainly would not recommend.
- Maria (5/5): Passable - Location and parking space. Mouldy, overall lack of maintenance, ran down, cheap products (when available, they only left a supermarket bag for rubbish for an 8-day stay, for example). I was absolutely underwhelmed and disappointed. Not worth the money.
- Michael (7/5): Good -
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - Beds were comfortable. View is good Bathroom had a funny smell. Towels did not smell clean/fresh and no follow up from manager when I messaged them about the smell/towels.
Air conditioning only works in living area and apartment faces east so bedrooms became too hot to be comfortable early morning.
- Julie (8/5): Is 'Stylish and Comfy" as advertised but to rate as a 9/10 needs to make more effort - Location on outskirts of Southbank entertainment/restaurant area. Amazing views towards south/west/Port Phillip Bay. Easy walking distance from Sth Melb markets, Southbank restaurants ( really close to Crown ), Melb Exhibition Centre and Docklands. Appt block v well maintained. Lifts v efficient. Easy access to garage. Gym and pool well maintained. Level of noise from surrounding road traffic; presentation of appartment- non working venetian blinds in both bedrooms (worse in main ) -mainly affecting light blockout ; v basic kitchen supplies incl no coffee maker; basic storage -hanging only and I small bedside table with 2 drawers, per room; smelly wet sheets in washing machine; 1 set of keys for appt access.
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
