- Stefan (9/5): Comfortable Baťa house in a colony of red-brick homes - Lovely Baťa house in a colony of similar red-brick homes, within walking distance of downtown Zlín. Although the garden was under renovation, it didn’t bother us. There were friendly animals in the house. The rooms, while a bit small and outdated, were comfortable and reminded us of old times at our grandmothers’ homes. The host was friendly and talkative — he made me a delicious coffee on Sunday morning before we left. Zlín is an amazing place for a weekend getaway! We have no big complaints, as we only used the house for sleeping and spent the entire time exploring the city of Zlín.

Have the host pinpoint the house location for you because the building numbers along the row of houses are completely out of whack.

Amazing to visit a Bata property which has been renovated to a very high standard. Kiko is a lovely dog who is very friendly when he gets to know you, but if you don't like dogs, or are allergic to cats, let Georg know and he will accommodate your needs.
