Guest Reviews
- Fedorak (7/5): I was only there for 9 hours but I had a solid sleep - There was no breakfast, only coffee The bathroom was not very clean
- Kelly (1/5): Walked into room and didn't end up staying - Only thing I liked was the guy at the front desk. I did not even stay. Walked into the room. The beds were horrible. The room had a smell. Sat down on the one bed and it was broken. I was so upset and mad quite frankly. There were 2 guys that were next door who looked sketchy. I didn't feel safe. The front staff person did try which is probably the ONLY good thing. He graciously returned my funds as there was no way I was going to stay there!
- John (5/5): - general appearance looks tired; basic facility maintenance has been done, but upkeep has not; hall smells of cigarette smoke. walls are thin and sound penetrates.
- Les (2/5): Renovate and maintain this asset or close it down. Enough said. - The price and location were good. Quite dirty and run down. Bathtub was disgusting and the whole place smelled musty with a lingering smell of marijuana. Everything about it except the people checking us in was bad.
- Yared (9/5): - Parking
- Scafe (1/5): -
- Kayla (1/5): Absolutely awful do NOT stay here - Absolutely nothing The hotel was disguising and extremely outdated and dirty. The second I walked in it stunk like cigarettes and mold. The room had various stains all over the walls, lampshades, and the mattress was disguising. I was looking for a cheap hotel for one night but honestly wish I just paid $20 extra as it would have been very worth it. The rooms have no sound proofing. There was only a thin sheet like blanket. I wish I had read the reviews first as this is probably the worst hotel i’ve ever stayed in. I felt dirty even being there.
- Brad (1/5): -
- Sheena (1/5): Very disappointed, Do Not Stay Here - The over night front desk gut was nice and did his best to switch rooms for me. The first room switch was quick but I still felt gross. The second he promised (when I said I would get another motel) for the next day, was not honored by the day staff. The first room was extremely dirty, I refused to stay in it. I would say it reminded me of a room you wake up in missing a kidney. The second what slightly better but was still repulsive, it had a large blood stain on the floor and the heat stopped working throughout the night. They then gave me their " best room" however while it was clean-ish, I still felt as though I would catch a disease staying in it. They did keep the lobby clean but the hallways hadn't been vacumed in a very long time and there was dog feces and homeless garbage everywhere outside. I wish I would have thought to take pictures, words cannot describe the condition of this motel.
- erika (10/5): - Everything
- Ashley (3/5): Disappointing, but not surprising - It was cheap No face cloths
No way to turn on shower
Floor in hallways were very spongy
Carpet tearing
Walls were paper thin
- Anna-Marie (1/5): Hell on earth that lasted 2 hours - The most disgusting place I've ever seen
- Satwant (1/5): -
- Wright (3/5): - Cheap Everything else
- Singh (3/5): - Just the location only No proper bedding and bad quality of everything, cleaning was bad as well and the TV remote was not working
- Zizac (3/5): -
- Salomom Thierry (7/5): Pleasant - The room was large The wash room
- Medel (1/5): We regret choosing this place - Its cheap The room was dirty, half used amenities kind of dirty
They don’t clear the ice if the entry, my boyfriend slipped and we ended up in the hospital and now he has a sprinted knee
We chose this place because it includes breakfast but the kitchen wasn’t running so no breakfast for us
People doing drugs just outside
- Nicholis (8/5): - Very nice staff
- BRIAN (3/5): I’ll never go there again. - Price Ran out of breakfast & coffee.
No extra blanket for bed
- JAYKUMAR (2/5): -
- Yannick (1/5): Never again - Dirty filthy hotel smell like cigarettes Crack head screaming in hall at night fighting
- erika (10/5): -
- Patel (10/5): Good - Good Good
- Joshua (1/5): Not coming back. - I didn't have the breakfast, I wouldn't eat here, it was pretty disgusting. The place was severely run down. Lot's of transient traffic. My room was dirty.
- loveleen (1/5): waste of time and resources - nothing No comfortors provided to sleep.
No water bottles
Cheap smells of cigars and other substances spreading all around the hotel. Worst stay of my whole life even motels are far better and cheaper
- Khalid (10/5): -
- Tim (1/5): Absolutely horrible - There is nothing I liked. Walked in room with ice cold turn heater on but the fridge blocked the heater so it couldn't circulate through the room so well. One bed was okay the other bed was horrible. The room was somewhat clean. No towels or anything except for one towel had to go get more looked under sink to see if there was towels stored under there found a red Solo cup full of needles band and alcohol wipes. Overall an absolute horrible place I can't believe it's actually a super 8.
- Scarlet (6/5): Convenient, but much to improve on. - I appreciate the room upgrade and the general sizes of the rooms. There was a “breakfast” bar however we went down multiple times and there was only a single coffee pot. The rooms also smelt of mildew, there was built up dirt and grime and strange stains on every surface. We didn’t even get a fresh roll of toilet paper in our room.
- Jason (5/5): - The cost of the stay. Building is old and needs to be renovated. Some of the guests are interesting....
- Joanne (1/5): - I didn't like anything! From the moment I walked to the front door from the parking, I was afraid because there was a group of young men outside near the entrance. I feared for my safety. When I walked into the lobby (even if I shoudn't have) one of the hotel guest was in the process of telling the reception desk about a smelly room or mattress? So I told the employee I wanted to cancel and he said I had to go through Bookings.Com. I left the premises and...
I NEVER WENT INTO THE ROOM.
- Katherine (1/5): -
- Marlene (8/5): It was worth it. - The price was right. It is an aesthetically pleasing room. There are the things I wanted there. There wasn't any noise interruptions. I wish there had been a microwave oven.
- Gregory (10/5): -
- Fredrick (6/5): Ma stay was good - Location is good
- Jaouad (10/5): -
- Jim (2/5): I would never stay there again - The building and rooms were tired and old and the pictures shown on line for this place are nothing like what the rooms look like. It is also in a not so good area of town
- Steven (1/5): Aweful - Absoultey disgusting Cheap (but still not worth the $50) cocaine and drugs residuals all over the place
- Tim (5/5): Ok - Run down, cheap, get what you pay for Run down
- Jamie (1/5): Clean your rooms a little better. - The room was full of animal hair and there was dog poop on the deck 😳
- HARMIN (1/5): -
- Dorothy (7/5): - I like that all the loud people quieted down around 10:30ish. Walls were thin, I could hear alot of conversations. The bed had a thin fleece blanket on it. It was cold.
- MARJORIE (5/5): - Needs more cleaning of baseboards, around toilet.
- Dr.Dehghan (1/5): Everything was bad... - Nothing... Everything was terrible....
- Lakhwinder (1/5): -
- Buck (7/5): -
- Breylynn (1/5): -
- Evan (3/5): cheap stay, terrible services and room with far too many issues - Price point. Staff were kind and helpful and even took notes on my issues . The breakfast I expected continental style and not large breakfast option due to cost of room. But a small children's juice box for a drink, an apple (no one eats apples at breakfast) , 1 muffin in a bag. Totally disappointing. / Next my Bathtub to relax my back in hot bath was not possible as put bath on full hot and when half full noticed it was cold. I called front desk and they said taps are touchy and turn slowly but not all the way to find hot water. (This means they knew this but said nothing). The hot water came in so slowly that it took forever to fill tub and never could have a hot bath. / The bed had a bed frame metal piece sticking out which noticed when it hit me. First night I was busy in morning to head to work early and front desk was busy so waited til back in evening then caught my back of ankle getting onto the bed and cut my heal wide open. I went downstairs and staff wrote notes and said it was unacceptable and said I should have said something earlier as maintenance man was in earlier. Of course I was not asking to change room as last night of two and had work to do to prep for work again in morning and too much work./ Wifi given kept cutting out throughout stay every 45-60 mins consistently for a half min or so and reset. Meant I used my own phone Data often/. BOTTOM LINE - PRICE WAS EXCELLENT SO I KEPT OVER EXPECT BUT ONLY WAY I RETURN IS IF I JUST NEED CHEAP ROOM FOR A NIGHT BUT WILL NOT EXPECT ANYTHING MUCH MORE. THIS PLACE IS REALLY ABOUT SAVING MONEY BUT POOR SERVICE AND ACCOMADATION. STAFF WERE KIND BUT DID NOTHING TO MAKE UP FOR SUCH A BAD STAY.
- Jobanpreet (2/5): -
- Braeden (1/5): Bedbugs -
- Jon (2/5): The comment from my spouse was "I feel like I am getting gonorrhea by just breathing in here". - Very cheap option, good location, easy access, dog friendly Cleanliness was questionable, the condition of the room was terrible (ceiling fan hanging from ceiling in bathroom, dirty fridge, cigarette burns in the tub, safety bar for the door to the deck was broken).
- Ruth (1/5): Horrible, terrible, horrific, and a nightmare. - Nothing. The room above leaked into ours, the place was FILTHY with garbage and drug paraphernalia under the bed, and we had to ESCAPE AT 3:00 AM WHEN THE CRACKHEAD UPSTAIRS CREATED TOO MANY HOURS OF DISTURBANCE VOMITING AND BANGING ALL NIGHT!
- Madinah (10/5): - Everything
- Bonita (8/5): -
- Alexandre (8/5): -
- tarek (7/5): -
- Mustafa (10/5): - Konumu benim seyahat ve randevu planıma uygun idi. Tesis eski. Ama fiyatı ve çalışanların gayret ve nezaketi bu eksiği telafi etmeye yetti.
- C (2/5): -
- Mac (8/5): All great - All great All good
- Joshua (8/5): -
- Wayne (3/5): -
- Chrissie (1/5): - We did not stay. We checked out right away because the rooms were gross
- Manventure (3/5): -
- Barkley (4/5): Meh - Location No smoking on balcony.
No proper comfortable blanket.
Lame breakfast.
Made me go get a blanket from front desk.
- Denise (5/5): Passable -
- Crystal (6/5): Warm dry bed in the middle of a road trip no breakfast seen - Price great for a stop when needed Stains on walls and paper thin could hear people above and in next room
- Rayner (6/5): Pleasant - for the price the stay was good. it was clean and comfortable. A little rough around the edges but livable. There was no breakfast even though the website offers it.
- Rick (1/5): Bad -
- Marianne (3/5): Poor -
- Glenn (8/5): 2nd time staying here - I absolutely love the price. Went to Red Deer for the weekend for work. Motel was close enough to many amenities that I could walk even though I had a vehicle Can be some shady people staying there at times. Motel is quite dated and needs renovations and the area is some what to be desired
- James (1/5): It's dirty. Nothing was cleaned despite my repeated requests for it to be cleaned. - full sized new fridge. decent small microwave. decent sized kitchen counter space. dirty. my room needed to be vacuumed from the start. I requested it daily and it never happened.
my garbage was only emptied because I carried it down to the office for it be emptied.
my towels were only changed when I brought them down to the office for clean ones.
smoking in other rooms which was obvious in the hallway.
shower tub wasn't clean, toilet was mostly clean.
Kitchenette.... sort of. no dishes or cutlery of any kind.
I stayed 4 nights and the room was not cleaned at any point.
- Bernal (6/5): Pleasant -
- Karen (6/5): It was okay. If you are advertising breakfast included, should be a bit better quality. - The breakfast was pretty sad....bag with juice box, apple and a muffin, expected quite a bit more. No bathmat in bathroom, floor a bit slippery. Could have had more towels. No extra blankets or pillows.
- Jagjeet (3/5): Poor -
- Brandy (1/5): Dont stay here!! They will rip u off and act like they cant do anything about it! - Nothing Everything! The room looked like it wasnt cleaned. Black hand prints all over shower curtain, there was black smears in the shower. The ac unit was plugged into an outlet that wasnt even attached to the wall. Balcony screen had rips in it and duct tape to hold it together. The furniture was too large for the room it was very claustrophobic, towels had stains on them. I didnt even get my deposit back. Left on the 30th and now ten days later still have yet to receive it. When i called the hotel a very angry man basically yelled at me telling me i have to wait 5-10 days and they have no control over the deposit and was zero help to me. I will be contacting the better business bureau on them. They should never be holding a $200 deposit this long!! Also why is the deposit $200 vs other hotels at $100 when this place is the most ghetto drug shack ive ever stayed in.
- Brufatto (2/5): Very poor - Nothing Everything
- Steward (2/5): Very poor -
- Dominic (1/5): Bad -
- Marilyn (2/5): Disappointing - Really nothing !!!!!! First there was no water in my room had to get it turned on, the room wasn't too bad as far a clean but hallway another story, needed a new mattress or at least turn them, the one side so bad almost fell off, pillows were ok and a very nice fridge, no coffee in room and advertised a super breakfast but I got a brown bag with a muffin, apple and juice box. Very disappointing. Really needs a update. Not staying there again !!!!!!! Still waiting for them to email my receipt.
- Staci (7/5): Good -
- Melissa (1/5): Bad -
- Newman (5/5): I guess its what you get for budget accomidation these days. - Friday pub special was fish and chips...a generous and tasty portion for under $10. Recommended. Pub staff very friendly and attentive.
Location excellent. Parking excellent. Breakfast was stated to be included. Actually turned out to be a "go bag" with apple, muffin and tetra fruit punch. I went to Mcdonalds.
TV was missing remote. Room had obvious wear and tear and even damage... busted door bolt, broken towel rack.
- Evan (1/5): Bad -
- Tamara (1/5): Checked out 1st night it was so terrible and I felt icky every second I was there. - Absolutely nothing! It smelt awful - like bad food and cigarettes. There were stains on the carpet everywhere. It was noisy and dirty. There were bugs running across my bed.
- Kory (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laurence (3/5): Poor - Hotel advertises free breakfast as part of your stay, there was no such thing. My room's heater/air conditioner's fan was obviously worn to the point of needing replacement, so loud I had to cut the power in order to sleep. A sheet and blanket, no bedspread or duvet, no wastebasket anywhere, one bath towels, too hand towels, but, no wash cloths. Far from welcoming and I wouldn't recommended this facility.
- Timiusie (8/5): Loving every minute of it. - As good as the last time I stayed there in 2023.
- Josh (2/5): Very poor -
- Terin (1/5): Bad - I walked into the hotel to check in and there was a man in the lobby raising his voice telling people not to stay here as they didn’t change his bedding or give him clean towels for his 10 day stay. This made me very uncomfortable to start. I get in my room and the smoke detector was missing. The room had stains on the walls, crumbs on the dresser and the shower was dirty! The walls are also very thin. I could hear a man snoring and his alarm going off in the morning. People clearly on drugs were coming in the hotel and in the parking lot. This hotel made me feel very concerned for my safety, will not stay again.
- Lc (4/5): Disappointing - It's nice and quiet
- Harzel (1/5): It was an unepected place to stay, very disappointed! - I dont like it the whole thing. The key card is dirty holder is freaking nasty and dirty. The lobby is smells bad. The place is not safe, lots of crack and homeless and the property smells smokes and marijuana, the hall ways smells like shit and urine.
- Elise (1/5): Bad - Wish I would have read the Google reviews before booking. Very sketchy place and it felt dirty. Brought my own sheets.for the price difference, $10 more would get a much better place.
- Karim (1/5): I didn’t stay the place smiling very bad - I didn’t stay the place smiling very bad It’s not clean at all
- Famegne (4/5): Disappointing -
- Mary (4/5): Just a bed to sleep - Bed was comfortable. No soap i room had to ask for it. No breakfast in the morning after being told there would be a continental breakfast. There was only coffee. No soap, shampoo etc. On the first floor, room was warm couldn't regulate heating. Didn't feel safe to open a window as we were on first floor. Room was small and needed renos
- Samir (6/5): Not bad - I like Bed The hallways were smelly
- Cawley (10/5): Exceptional - I like the staff, the breakfast and the coffee
- Jeremy (8/5): Very good -
- Joe (1/5): I won't go back - the bed sheets where dirty. stains and hairs. The bed sheets from the previous person where left in the room on a chair.
I slept in my clothes on the bed.
- Bowie (5/5): Passable -
