- Mary (8/5): Very pleasant stay - Great location with easy access. Good layout of the unit. Had everything we needed.
Owner was thoughtful and responsive to communication. The walls were a bit thin, so felt a bit uncomfortable making any noise.
It was a bit hard to get the shower taps to turn off properly.
Wi-fi would have been handy , but not necessary for this visit.
- Lorraine (8/5): Lovely place. Very thoughtful owner. - Excellent location
- Rachel (10/5): -
- Janine (8/5): -
- Mabel Jane (5/5): Fine for a short stay - Live tv, comfortable living room. Decent location. Appreciated the fresh coffee! Twin beds were old and had springs that dug in. Some of the doors needed cleaning. Property kitchen and bathroom is clean but dated. Garden needed sprucing up.
- Christopher (9/5): Lovely landlady. - Excellent, very close to all amenities. Clean . Tidy. Everything you need.

- Eva (4/5): Fine, wouldn’t stay again - The location was amazing It was very dirty… my boyfriend is asthmatic and the dust was making him flare up
There was also no kitchen roll or anything of the sort for cleaning up
Only 2 towels left and there was 4 people..
Dooms hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time, with the build up of stuff and dust under things
2 single beds were severely uncomfortable

- SamanthaC (8/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Acacia Retreat. We were in Dunsborough for wedding venue hunting and the location of Acacia Retreat was perfect for everything we needed. Everything was within walking distance and they have a cute coffee spot just around the corner which is an absolute gem! The only tiny suggestion we could recommend would be to have WIFI included so we could access the streaming services off the TV, instead of having to hotspot with our mobile phone. Other than that, it's a perfect spot for a 1/2/3 night stay.

Town is a short walk from the apartment.
The rooms were clean and neat, the bed was very comfortable. Outside was a bit untidy but

- John (9/5): Excellent place to stay at reasonable price - Spacious, attractive and well-furnished. Good value relative to other similar options. No issues.
- Victoria (10/5): Bright and breez indeed! - The house felt like home, warm and cosey. It was clean and complete with all we needed. Location was perfect! Our toddler enjoyed the mini maze inside as there were doors connecting to rooms and toilet. Our mornings were met with the loving sunrise and a bunny just outside our window. The host is also one of the kindest we have met. There was a personal touch which I really loved. Our stay is one for the books!
- Andrew (10/5): Perfect for a weekend away - Great location. Walking distance to the beach and main shops of Dunsborough. Plenty of space in the apartment. The beds are comfortable.

- Emma (10/5): Lovely stay in Dunsborough - The host was wonderful, and her communication was very prompt. She ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
We loved how close it was to everything, including walking distance to local shops & the beach. It was cosy and very comfortable. Very comfortable beds. It is set in a lovely quiet & friendly neighbourhood, we loved how quiet it was here. It has a very homely feel to it. Only thing that would be a slight downfall is that you can hear the running water (showers etc) in the connecting house. Though this was of minimal disturbance.
- Clare (10/5): Lovely stay , suited me for a week as it was close to everything and relatives I was visiting - It was a very comfortable apartment , close to town and shopping centres It didn’t worry me that there was no wifi, air conditioner or dishwasher but it might worry larger families in hot weather
- Dr (7/5): Accommodation was satisfactory for what I wanted. - Easy to get to shops and beaches and venues was attending for Songfest. Crockery nice, bed comfortable. Kitchen conveniences all good. Was quiet. Lighting was far too low. Hard to read. And towels were rough (need to be changed I would suggest).
- Les (9/5): Dunsborough visit - The accommodation was excellent, really spacious and nicely decorated. Superb location, close to everything. Our host, Eva, was friendly and made us feel at home. We would come back again. The weather was disappointing, but you can't have everything.
- Lisa (10/5): Relaxing coastal stay, wish it was longer, looking forward to returning. - Relaxing, nestled in a quiet street full of greenery and close to town, beach and cape. Nothing, loved it all.
- Sunita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martin (9/5): Enjoyable stay - Location was central to all the attractions we wanted to visit less than 15 mins drive. Everything we needed was provided to use in the kitchen. Cute decor loved the stained glass windows. Host was lovely, great communication. Could do with wifi to connect streaming services to smart TV. Kitchen mixer Tap very stiff.
- Shelley (9/5): Superb -
- Vinnie (7/5): Good - The unit was comfortable and in a good location, close to town. Appreciated the tea bags and coffee available by the host. Some feedback is to have some kitchen paper towels available in the kitchen..
Also the showerhead seemed like it needed to be changed or cleaned as it had some green coloured on it.
- Kerry (8/5): Very good -

- Kendall (7/5): Great location, perfect for a short stay. - Great location, 10 mins walk from town. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable, was bit sticky the nights we were there as it was very humid and no aircon, fans helped a little.
- Hall (10/5): A delight. - Great location and a friendly and helpful owner.
The fresh coffee waiting for us was a real bonus and the kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything we needed. It isn't airconditioned which we don't mind, but something to bear in mind during a heatwave. Maybe some guests would appreciate a portable air con unit.
Airflow is good.
- Sri (8/5): Very good - Nice and clean Miss out aircon oops but luckily weather that time was good
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Boubis (9/5): Pleasant local place to stay, would definitely stay again and recommend others to - Lovely unassuming place, perfectly set up with everything we needed, lovely outdoor space too, so close to everything. - James (7/5): Good - The house was perfect but no cooling system it was hard to get a good sleep Not having cooling system
- Kylie (8/5): Very good -
- Diedre (7/5): Location great, host very helpful but not wheelchair accessible - Proximity to town and the beach, very quiet We asked if it was wheelchair accessible and were told there was one step in the unit. The unit is not wheelchair accessible the you can’t get through one of the bathroom doors, there is a shower hob and a very large step between bedroom/bathroom and living area. Very disappointing
- Paul (9/5): Perfect place for weekend/few days in Dunsborough - Excellent homely accommodation in a great location All good.
- Qing (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and quiet.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Michele (6/5): Good location but won’t rush back - Great location walking distance into town and beach.
Beach decor nice. Level of cleanliness could be better. Grout in shower looks like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Rug under coffee table huge hazard as we kept slipping so we had to move it.

- Brenda (8/5): Very good - Very close to town We weren’t aware that the property was part of the owners house!
- Alysha (7/5): A pleasant and affordable stop - Location to town was great! More spacious than in photos too. Echoey acoustics. Not an issue if travelling solo, only noticeable as we were staying with our young children and were hyper aware of the noises they make being amplified :)
- Bibi (10/5): Renae is a wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she would pop over whenever we needed assistance wit - clean and bright nothing
- James (10/5): Dunsborough chalet - Great location close to town, beach and Meelup trails. Plenty of space with kitchen, living space, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Not super modern, but everything is in good condition and very clean, neat, and tidy. The owner is pleasant and easygoing. Nothing to dislike for me, it was perfect for staying overnight for 2 nights.
