Guest Reviews
- Deb (8/5): Close to the city with parks, courts, an oval, and ample parking all within easy reach! - This property enjoys an unbeatable location. You’re just moments from the city, yet surrounded by the kind of community features that make everyday living feel effortless. With playgrounds, tennis courts, and a spacious oval all within an easy stroll, it’s the perfect blend of convenience and outdoor enjoyment. Ample parking. A few of the kitchen pots and pans are showing their age, and refreshing them would elevate the cooking experience even further
- Ben (10/5): We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy some time with family or friends with all - The property was well kept and clean. The best part were the kitchen provisions, so if you would like to do some cooking it’s very useful! There’s nothing I could not like about this property and would highly recommend to anyone for its positive vibes and the peace one wants during a vacation 😊

- Peter (10/5): Excellent, well maintained property not far from Adelaide CBD. - The location of the property was perfect for our needs and we loved the lounges in the backyard which were great for a quiet drink with the crew. There was a lovely cafe just down the street which we visited each morning. The house was clean, tidy and well stocked. We liked it all so there’s nothing negative to add.
- Brad (10/5): The best - Everything was good, was easy to contact the owner if i had questions, keys were in the lock box, place was comfortable and in a great location. Good backyard for the kids to run around
I would defantly stay there again. Nothing

- Christine (8/5): **** Lovely property **** Wonderful location **** Would definitely return ***** - Almost everything! Beautiful location and house. The property had everything we needed, plus the little things you sometimes don’t consider when traveling (e.g. laundry detergent).
Well thought out with the guest in mind, our stay was made to be more convenient and comfortable, and less chaotic, knowing the little things have been thought of.
The house has some beautiful decor, is tidy, clutter-free, spacious and well fitted out. Easy to live in for a few weeks.
Lovely backyard, large living and dining area, built in dining in the kitchen as well. Two of the bedrooms are huge and all 3 have cupboards.
We were spoiled by split cycle A/C in the living area and one of the bedrooms!
Thank you for the stay! :-) I think we managed to arrive at the end of all of the batteries’ lives at this property! The TV remote, the fan remotes, the digital lock on the front door - you name it! If it ran off batteries, I either avoided it because it was not working, or I replaced the batteries. Apart from that, and a few dirty dishes mixed in with the clean ones, I have no complaints.
- Hang (10/5): The surrounding scenery is beautiful. The accommodation is clean and spacious, very convenient to catch the bus to the c - Location
- Stacey (4/5): Filthy, unwelcoming, not enough beds. Not as described. - Location was very convenient as we had a function in the city.
The size and layout of the home was great as we travelled with 5 children.
When we did have issues on check in, the host was available via phone to assist as best he could and organised extra linen, and towels as the bedding configuration wasn't as described to me via messages we had sent. I was sent pictures of his other property with bunk beds. He also readily alerted neighbour who came to assist with opening door, and ended up needing a handyman to fix the door so we could enter.
The toys were great to keep kids amused. Also full sized fridge. They did set up a cot for us also. This is where it will get ugly. We arrived evening, expecting 2x queen beds, a single and also a bunk bed, and a cot. What we got was a cot, 3x queen beds. I asked if the configuration viab private message was correct and they replied with we have bunk beds and a picture of a bunk bed that looked like a little house, also a single bed in that room. We travelled with a 10month old baby, a couple (us), 2x 9yo children, a 14yo and a 4yo. So we required all seperate beds for the children. I was assured it would work for us via message. That's not the first thing we noticed. The access door wasn't easy to open, the actual lock didn't disengage properly and we had to pull the handle toward us to in fact open the door firstly.
Imagine arriving later in afternoon/evening with several children expecting they're own place to sleep. For 5 nights, 1 night this couldn't even be overlooked with a blended family of children. The cot was set up in our room, it was flaking paint everywhere on the top rail that had been pre chewed by previous users.
We had luckily packed a porta cot in case for the baby. So we used this instead. I called the host about the beds. He admitted that I had in fact been sent an image of his other property he owns by mistake. He also stated he wasn't in Adelaide and would organise some bedding and towels as we had only 5 towels.... he said there may be a single mattress in the cupboard. We went searching. This was foam and lucky only needed for the 4yo. We had to go and purchase 3 more mattress for the children. It was 8pm by this time, with several phone calls. The linen was delivered at 10pm.
The front door couldn't be opened from inside properly without pushing on the top of the handle and applying pressure for the lock to dis engage. The host didn't speak great English and he really didn't understand. We were trapped in the house. With no way to get out. The side gates were locked and no phsycal keys given.
- Anne-marie (8/5): Very good -
- Hayley (10/5): Gather round 2025 - Perfect location beautiful home with well presented gardens
- Davide (9/5): Superb -
- Darrell (4/5): Very disappointing house was not cleaned on arrival - Bed was comfy & it was a good size house On Arrival
could not get in the front door.
The owner had changed key code from are institution email for the front door & forgot to tell us. also there was a key to open door but could not see where to put key in .it’s top of the key pad and not visible due to a blanking plate over the top where the key goes.
So had to phone costing us £2.50 a minute Sterling ,to get new code we were then told we had to take it off and to insert key.
No welcome pack letting us know wi fi passwords or what’s is local in the area ,I.e shops or bus stops/Trains, Bin day .
Had to message owner again to ask for password to be told look under modem.
this should all be in the Welcome pack provided on arrival.
We Stay in Rental homes every year, travelling from the Uk and taking us over 24 hrs.
First time ever we were not left any Milk or anything as welcome, specially as it’s New years Eve.
Had to then get a taxi at 6.30 pm after travelling to get to the shops before it closes, we didn’t get are hired car till after new years day.
little touches makes a holiday stay more memorable and make a stay more enjoyable , not to mention less stressful and will want guests return,
No beach towels either as travelling so far limits luggage weight.
First time staying in this rental and not having a welcome hamper & pack is a first for us.
We stay in rentals all over the world as it’s common courtesy ,way of saying thank you for choosing booking with them.
The house had an awful smell when walked in,Kitchen was dirty food splashes up walls and in fridge.
Microwave smelt & Oven top had oil and food splashes all over it.
Ants running across work tops and in cupboards over the dishes due to food plashes and crumbs.
Just throw Ant powder around hole external of the house.
Dinning tables and coffee table had food marks &crumbs under and all over it.
Sofa throw was covered in stains and smelt.
Took cover off to wash as was not sitting on that. and the sofa was also covered in stains.
- Bernadine (1/5): Bad decision- filthy property and not worth half the cost of the stay. - Close to the city Unclean/filthy - old underwear in cupboards, dirty floors, filthy sofas, filthy oven, filthy bbq. Bed slopped in the middle. Old nappies left in cupboards. Misplaced gate key for a few hours in the morning, had an urgent appointment to get to and there was no emergency key - we had to wait 3 hours for the owners wife to drive past and unlock the gate (didn’t even stop) - what would happen if there was a medical emergency!? No way to get out of property.
- Kejia (9/5): Very good experience - The location of the house is very good, there is supermarket, oil fuel filling station, bank around, very convenient.
It's a big garden and the kids have fun.
Kitchen utensils are very complete, easy to cook. Check in in a hurry, the sanitation is not completely cleaned.
- Lillian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sheree (10/5): Excellent to be able to be in a central location to what we needed. Clean and amazing little house with everything avail -
