• Ilda (10/5): I would start here again... it is not your normal room though! - The location is amazing! It is not a standard studio that you would expect... but whoever came up with this idea is great because... it looks like they might still be working on making it a better experience... but I definitely would stay again. It does seem iffy even made me skeptical on how you pay for this.. but it was legit. I got my deposit back too! It took about 2 days! Pretty efficient. There is a lot of noise... but we were only there mostly to sleep.. so at night it was very restful
• Steven (1/5): This was the worst dump I’ve ever seen. It’s not livable. - Nothing. I did not stay 1hr it was horrible. Exposed wires, moldy smell covered by heavy chemicals. Everything. It was a dump. I don’t think it’s a legal apartment. No apt number, exposed wires and pipes, couch blocking the door, can’t open it all the way. This should never be rented again.
• Mcgruder (6/5): Great location, lack of amenities. - Great location with parking and secure building. Updated bath and kitchenette. Space was clean. Host communication and checking in. Less than a block away from 24hr grocery store. This place has the potential to be excellent, but missed the mark on a few things. The bedding would be the biggest. 3 old flat pillows for 2 people and the comforter was raggedy and had a big black stain on it. The bed is all but on the floor making it hard to get out of if you are a bit older. NO COFFEE MAKER, can opener, toaster and minimal utensils. There was an iron but no ironing board. These things are standard in every airbnb we have ever stayed in. Art work that should be hung on the wall was propped up on the kitchen table and kept sliding down off the table everytime we tried to sit and eat. The same with a mirror on the dresser. And the furniture is uncomfortably positioned in the room. With very little investment and repositioning of furniture, this studio apartment could be perfect. We would definitely stay here again for the location, super affordable rates, quick communication from host and cleanliness. Would just like to see a few more basic amenities.

• Mark (5/5): Decent enough for 1 person for a really short stay, Great location and good free parking access. - The bed was super comfortable, the location was great and private parking was spot on. Having stayed at other Airbnb's in Hollywood previously for cheaper I felt this one didn't reach the standard for the price. The actual studio is located in the lobby area as soon as you enter the property and with this you can hear everybody come in and can quite noisy. It didn't have much kitchen utensils or the basics like a tin opener or knives for cooking and was explained that previous tenants must have stolen it. the trash can was small, the type you would have in a bathroom so I had to use a separate black bin bag instead which attracted flies. I saw a roach in there too, and little flies around which was disappointing especially for the price. The clothes rack was old and cheap and didn't think it could hold my clothes so I left them in my suitcase.
• Frances (7/5): Good - The studio unit had everything necessary and looked just like the photos. The building is located on a fairly quiet street, but only walking distance to multiple restaurants, a grocery store, and a well known hike, Runyon Canyon. Beverly Hills is only a 15min drive. Griffith Park only 20min. Secure garage parking was included in the stay cost and dogs are allowed for an extra daily charge ($65/day). The parking was complicated because the parking spot was tandem. We had to park blocking a resident of the building. While she didn’t leave often, we did have to sync with her on our schedules to make sure everyone could get out and her English wasn’t strong so there was some confusion on which day she needed to leave. Another parking spot that was initially offered was changed due to tenants in the building being upset we would damage their car accidentally. The studio unit is in between the front door of the building and mail boxes with no noise proofing. We heard the building door slam through the evening up until midnight and then start again from 7-9am. Also we heard all the mail and packages getting delivered in the morning or evening. The unit is cash or Zelle only. We didn’t see Booking advertising this detail in the posting and were caught off guard thinking it could be a scam when the host told us cash only. But it wasn’t a scam and the unit manager was very nice showing us everything. PayPal was offered but then when we went to pay the manager she asked nicely for us to not use PayPal due to their fees.
