Guest Reviews
- Lachlan (9/5): -
- Meredith Stevenson (10/5): - Every thing about it! It's a lovely little bungalow! I love that it had split system in lounge and the 2bdrms and tv in each also. Joseph, the host, has gone above and beyond with all the lovely little touches, like everything one could want/need, in both bathroom and kitchen. Thank you king sir! A little bit of shade cloth above outdoor roofing, wouldn't go astray.
- Rosina (8/5): Practical family accommodation and great host! - The host was great - really easy to deal with.
- Virginia (10/5): Cosy bungalow with great outdoor area - Bungalow was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Lovely outdoor area - would be great in summer. Joe was a very good host - very quick to respond and provides good instructions
- Crystal (9/5): Lovely spacious bungalow close to Brighton. - Well equipped surprisingly spacious accomodation in a lovely area, not too far from Brighton & Sandringham. Host had taken particular care to make it as welcoming as possible. Nothing.
- Kaye (3/5): - Can't think of anything. We chose this place due to location, being a central location to many family and friends, with our dogs. However, at the price charged ($360/night) we could have had so much better (like a whole apartment or even a house) not so far away for not much more. This was radical $ for a converted garage, filled with baskets of grotty toys, cushions, throws and a single couch. The outdoor area was dirty, with cobwebs etc over chairs, and not enough chairs around a cob-webbed table. The "courtyard" was also not desirable to be in for any reason. The bathroom was full of other people's soap, shampoo, etc, and the plug hole full of hair (I was wondering why the water wasn't draining!). At this price you'd expect some milk in the fridge for a coffee in the morning (none)...and not expected to put out the rubbish, clean all the dishes etc...as per the "house rules"! Along with the screaming children and hysterical barking dogs, we bailed after one night. This is not advertised as a room/s in someone's house, with a shared bathroom, which is how it felt, plus having their personal belongings in the bedrooms!
- Jodie (10/5): Pleasant 2 night stay - 2 bedrooms, seperate living and nice sized kitchen and bathroom
Lots of little extras provided, ie sunscreen
Close to dog park to take our furry friend

- Rohit (10/5): A Perfect family get away … !! - Centrally located close to cafés, super markets, driving distance from Brighton beach, and just 25 mins to CBD. Well stocked kitchen with every possible equipment; TV in every room, modern amenities … perfect for families and group of friends. Nothing to mention. Everything was super perfect.
- Chantharan (9/5): Well maintained guesthouse with comfy beds. - Close to beaches and strategically located to amenities
- Carmina (8/5): comfortable - kitchen closer to the dining room
- Anau (10/5): Exceptional - Very tidy and lovely property, equipped with everything we needed, and the location was great for our needs. Also, close to supermarket which was handy, and within walking distance to restaurants and cafes. Joe is a great host and there if you need him. He maintained regular contact with us during our stay. We had a great stay! Highly recommend!

- Lloyd (10/5): Great place to stay in Melbourne - Great location, modern ,comfortable and well equipped
- Gareth (10/5): This place is a perfect stay and I will definitely be trying to stay here again next time I am in Melbourne. - The Property was a great size, very clean, well stocked and the location was nice and quiet but still in walking distance from a train station to the city (or a short Uber for us also). The owner was very helpful when there was an issue with booking.com not sending through the checking in instructions.
- Melvyn (9/5): Great - Excellent home with all facilities required. Everything was supplied and of very good quality. Really enjoyed our stay there and recommend it. Nothing to mention
- Uchit (10/5): Excellent choice for quiet family stay in Melbourne - Extremely well-appointed property. Thoughtful and cooperative landlords were available on the phone, even whilst overseas themselves.
Strongly recommended property. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home
All the best to the landlord.
- Bernadette (9/5): Superb -
- Christine (9/5): Cute place, quiet street with friendly owner. - Cute place, on a quiet street but within walking distrance of local shops and cafes. Whilst we were not there much as spent time with local friends, the facilities were good, extra little touches etc you don't find in other places. Would not hesitate to stay again. Nothing major just lacking in tea towels and bathmat, but this could have just been a once off oversight by cleaners.
- Wing (10/5): Great holiday house! - We like everything especially the deco and the comfy beds.
- Karina (9/5): Superb - It was so peaceful and comfortable I slept a solid 12 hours my first night. I loved it was pet friendly, secure with an off-leash park at the end of the street. Good sized, modern rooms with decent bathroom/shower.
- Steve (8/5): Joe was very hospitable and maintained regular contact with us to make sure everything was dandy. - Meeting Joe and Monty on arrival then walking into a clean guesthouse with all we needed in the bathroom and kitchen. The guesthouse location was perfect for our purpose and we had the driveway to ourselves for off street parking. Joe's collection of books was diverse resulting in a little reading during spare time. Courtyard perfect for smokers also. Maybe a heated towel rail as we left aircon on during day with towels hanging in bedroom to dry in the cold wet weather. There was a dryer available just outside though. Also the double bed had one side against a wall due to limited space.
- Lloyd (10/5): Comfortable and quiet location, top class facilities with extra touches to enjoy - Excellent design and finish make this property a pleasure to stay. Well equipped with all that you need for comfort and rest. Kitchen and bathroom modern and functional design with excellent plumbing and attractive fittings. Many extra touches make this a first class accommodation venue. Nothing
- Di (10/5): cozy & comfortable! a home away from home! Joe was very accommodating & approachable via phone. - cozy & comfortable. a home away from home!
- Kirsty (10/5): Quiet, comfortable suburban stay - Great quiet location. Comfortable space, clean facilities and host has gone the extra mile supplying the little things like sunscreen, dishwasher, hair-dryer, etc. Awesome coffee shop a few minutes walk away on Brewer Road. Host Joe found the right blend of allowing privacy while offering attentiveness and easy communication if needed.
- Shaowei (10/5): Exceptional - The location is convenient, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and Joe's kindness and hospitality make for a pleasant and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend!"
- Marisa (10/5): I am very happy with my stay here and I would book again if I visit again soon :-) - The property was a fantastic choice for me as it was in an area that allowed me to easily drive to the city and it is located near various shops and cafes, as well a great dog park near by. It was cosy, and easy to settle into and almost tucked away like a little private oasis. This accommodation was a really great place to have a mini getaway in Melbourne. I also found it convenient that the host allows your dog to stay too. Joe the host, was amazing with his communication. Before I arrived I received a very clear set of visual instructions on how to check in and enter the property and he even had a personalised welcome board with my name and a welcome note for when I arrived which was a very nice touch. Toiletry Items for use such as any extras you might forget or need are thoughtfully placed in the bathroom and everything you need for cooking is in the kitchen. The place was super clean and cosy when I arrived and I couldn’t wait to settle in. Nothing.
