Una gotera en la escalera principal por la lluvia y que el desayuno no se pueda llevar a la habitación esto último es un poco contradictorio ya que si puedes llevar alimentos externos a tu habitación ejemplo bebidas o pizza. Las tazas estaban con manchas de café y los platos estaban un poco amarillos falta higiene, los controles de la tv estaban sucios prácticamente eran blancos y estos estaban amarillos, la habitación 200 no funcionaba el aire acondicionado o por lo menos nunca lo pudimos encender. 1 solo confort no basta para 2 personas lo cual te forza a solicitar uno en la recepción. Cosas pequeñas que pueden mejorar en mucho respeto a la competencia de los demás hoteles.

El barrio me pareció de día muy tranquilo, transitado. Regresé de noche cerca de las 2 de la madrugada, y no vi nada raro, se podría pensar que por ser el centro iba a ser peligroso, pero la verdad es que en mi experiencia caminando de noche no me sentí en un barrio inseguro. Por el precio, creo que no tengo una critica negativa puntual. Podrían mejorar el desayuno tal vez.

• Sebastián (4/5): Es un lindo lugar, con un tremendo potencial. Pero le hace mantencion y orden en recepción - Está ubicado en en un lugar muy bonito del casco antiguo. Cercano a restaurantes y tiendas. No funcionaba el aire acondicionado. La puerta de acceso a la habitación no cerraba perfectamente. El servicio de transfer al aeropuerto nunca llegó. En un momento quedamos encerrados dentro del hotel, perdimos un Uber porque no podíamos salir.

• RODOLFO ENRIQUE (4/5): Un total fiasco - La localización del hotel es muy buena, el aseo de la habitación también es bueno. El recepcionista venezolano es una persona muy comprometida con el servicio al cliente y en poder satisfacer las necesidades de los huéspedes. El día de nuestra llegada, aunque el hotel contratado era Londres 77, cuando llegamos estaba sobrevendido y nos ubicaron en otro, al cual tuvimos que llegar jalando las maletas a través de la Alameda. Las almohadas terribles no son hoteleras, son de mala calidad y no proporcionaban un descanso adecuado. El desayuno es muy muy básico, gustoso, pagaría un poco más por un desayuno de mayor calidad. La capacidad de la joven de recepción para atender la necesidades de los huéspedes, es verdaderamente deficiente, ya que se molestaba con la mínima solicitud que se le hiciera y era más que evidente su disgusto. Aunque en los alrededores, la arquitectura era preciosa, abundan Los, indigentes, alcohólicos y jóvenes en bicicleta que a todas luces andan esperando un descuido para robar. Las toallas de baño que nos proporcionaron eran de 50 cm de largo, a veces de un color a veces de otro, en realidad no tenían un estándar de calidad. No contaban con pesas para las maletas. No contaban con un foco. No contaban con una tijera, no contaban con una grapadora. Los sofá de la recepción necesitan cambio, hace décadas, estaban lucidos , desgastados y con los resortes afuera y hasta con pelos de gatos estaban No, Indudablemente no regresaré ahí.

• Maria Soledad (10/5): - Quiero agradecer la gestión y atención recibida durante mi estadía. El lugar es muy limpio, con un rico desayuno y además está cerca de todo. En especial agradezco que me prepararan una habitación en el primer piso, ya que tengo algunos problemas de movilidad. La habitación fue muy confortable y amplia, con detalles que marcan la diferencia: en la ducha había un asiento y en el baño una barra de seguridad, lo que me entregó comodidad y seguridad. De verdad estoy muy agradecida por la empatía y preocupación del equipo. Totalmente recomendable.

• Anna (1/5): They are cheating the customers on the price!!! - Be careful!!! When paying, they force you to pay the booking price PLUS the commission that they pay to booking.com!!! This is not legal! I told them that I won't pay it and it was very unfriendly! Luckily I speak fluent Spanish and could have this fight with them because I assume that most people don't (or don't notice that the price is approx 15% higher than what they booked?) Finally they agreed for us to pay without it but only in USD and only in cash?!?! I am 100% sure they didn't think that we would have it. They didn't like half of the bills that we had with us, finally found the "good" bills and paid a little more and I was supposed to get my change later, of course I never did! They didn't have the room we booked so they gave us a bigger one, but openly threatened us that if we use more beds we will be charged for them. That was between hilarious and unprofessional. Also, while getting breakfast, my husband put himself 3 spoons of eggs and the lady started saying in Spanish "there are 70 people here, there are 70 people here". So it turned out that this teeny tiny plate with eggs was designed for 70 people and the lady was guarding the amount you take?! I put the bread in the toaster myself and she took it out with her bare hands and handed me (whyyy?). The only nice thing is the location. I would NOT stay there again! CHEATING ON THE PRICE IS UNACCEPTABLE

• Fauzia (8/5): Lovely old building with lots of history - Beautiful old building in the heart of the Londres- Paris barrio. Lots of amazing historic buildings around and cobblestones streets. Staff were really good and helpful and the room we stayed in was large and comfortable. The breakfast was nice too. it got noisy outside at night with people hanging out on the benches, but they seemed harmless to the tourists.

The hot water and shower was lovely and the aircon worked well. Breakfast lady was very friendly and reception staff. The people sleeping outside the hotel under cardboard. The dog hair in the single bed on the sheet and blanket. No top sheet on the single bed. Mattresses have seen better days and linen doesn't fit the beds. It's very old. The shower curtain kept falling off the rail.

• Meng (9/5): Okay - Location is good. Old building, but it is special. Have breakfast, the staffs are friendly, and they have a cute cat. No elevator. In Friday and Saturday was annoyed by the night club which near to the hotel. In Sunday and Monday was quiet.

It's a shame that they offer cheap granulated coffee in South America :( Also there is no English speaker at the Hotel. Communication is a problem. Facilities are bad. • Peter (7/5): A great, inexpensive place to stay, with welcoming staff in a historical part of Santiago. - Everything about the place was great. Staff were especially friendly and helpful. Other guests were friendly, too. A lot like people at hostels, but these were Chileans who seemed either long-time or frequent guests. It was a wonderful introduction to Chile/Santiago. Central sitting rooms plus the breakfast room were comfortable, letting us sit around and visit with long conversations. The front courtyard was special, too. And the ability to walk not many blocks north, to areas of key Santiago history, was great. Our room was very nice. The twin beds we got for family we were traveling with were horrible. That room, too, was tiny and lacked a window. We suppose it was sort of a room for kids, but the adults who stayed in it were not amused. However, even they enjoyed all the rest of the great people at this fine facility.

• Daniel (2/5): The hotel is beautiful but my money was stolen - the style of the hotel is very old European Unfortunately I left money (cash) in the room and it was stolen. Nobody brings all the cash when you go out , so we decided to left it into a wallet, the next morning we count the money and 200 usd was missing, they had cleaned up the room a day before. If you stay in this hotel I recommend to watch your money.

The staff were not particularly helpful. we asked them to call us a taxi and they said their driver had no car available and didn’t offer any help past that. we ended up calling an Uber which was fine but is considered risky.

• Joe (9/5): Superb - helpful desk staff, free basic breakfast, kettle in the room, large spacious room, great location close to the town centre, good value to quality ratio. we were charged more than stated on booking.com and when we queried this they had sent us a message before stating they would be adding an extra tax although we hadn’t seen this so price wasn’t as it seemed. wifi was poor. breakfast was limited (but a freebie so not a negative but don’t expect too much). the shower was either very hot or cold.

• Anna (7/5): Beautiful building and room, but noisy and stressful - The hotel is in a beautiful building at a convenient location, the room was huge and beautiful with teapot/cups and snacks provided. No Wifi in the room, i could only get a stable signal in the lobby downstairs or outside in the courtyard. Most staff members don't speak any English, so it was a challenge. Very noisy from the people (locals and guests) and barking dogs outside in the courtyard and also from the bar across the street, also there was a noisy local guest next door, who always spoke on the phone and played music late in the evening seating at the window, although he responded to my request politely.

• Salome (2/5): Very poor - the hostel was in a great location In the evening it was very loud (loud music), the doors of the room could not be locked, no one spoke english and the staff at the reception was a bit unfriendly. unfortunately, the breakfast was also not as in the pictures. 80$ for two nights is too expensive for what this hotel has to offer!
