Guest Reviews
- Jodie (7/5): - There was a bad septic Oudour
Power went out hot water
No internet
- Joanne (6/5): -
- barbara (8/5): Very comfortable, peaceful stay. - Loved the view. Wished there was a microwave.
- Magknor (9/5): Nice place, need more attention - Great location, beautiful place. The apartment is great, the bed is comfortable. It was dusty. Or could be nicer if they pay more attention to this.
- Anne (10/5): Really enjoyable - Great use of cooking facilities
Clean room, plenty of amenities
Warm welcome with TV , aircondioner and friendly welcome message It was fantastic
- Michael (8/5): Pleasant getaway to relax and unwind - Loved the location for a getaway with plenty of nearby attactions Lack instruction on operation of hot water - Worked it out.
- Lyndall (5/5): Needs to be upgraded and more attention to detail. - The property was in a lovely location. Very scenic from the balcony. Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to several issues with the property. The walls were extremely dusty, which triggered allergies, and the mattress was uncomfortable with heavy, outdated bedding that made it difficult to sleep well. The couch was also a letdown—cushions kept slipping off and it wasn’t comfortable to sit on. There was a noticeable smell of septic tank at times, and a note advised boiling the tap water before drinking, which didn’t feel very reassuring. The bathroom had visible mould on the ceiling, which was concerning. The front doors were heavy and difficult to open, especially when arriving with bags. On top of that, the neighbouring property played loud music late into the night, making it hard to relax. With some updates and better maintenance, the property has potential, but it fell short for us this time.
- Juliet (8/5): Very good -
- Chomnapus (9/5): Superb -
- Craig (8/5): Very good - The view was excellent. Nice space inside for a couple. Kitchen facilities good Mould in the bathroom needs to be resolved.
To better manage in the future perhaps a sign to remind guest to leave the ceiling fan on for a while after using shower.
- Tracey (5/5): Not worth the money - The location was good, the view was nice.
The structure of the building was quite good. It's like they paid attention to the building, but didn't bother with anything that would actually make the stay more than just 'ok'.
The place had clearly hasn't had a proper clean in a while. Whilst the sheets were clean, and the kitchen and toilet as well, there was dust all over the TV and the couch and the fake plants. One of the windows was caked with cobwebs and clearly hadn't been cleaned for a really long time.
The internet didn't work for the first 24 hours and the assistance line (who manage the property on behalf of the owner) were unable to assist.
Every time I sat on the couch the seat cushions slid out from under me.
The couch was worn, and the small saucepan doesn't work on the induction cooktop (I say after trying to boil water for over half an hour).
They tried to do that fancy hotel thing where you use white sheets as quilt covers....but left a patterned quilt cover on the quilt underneath the white sheet.
They also made no effort to hide the corner where they put all the things. It wouldn't take much to put a cupboard or a screen there, but as it is you stare at all those miscellaneous items from the bed.
- Mark (2/5): Poor - Mould in the bathroom, bed was ancient and awfully uncomfortable. Sliding door was that stiff I slipped trying to close it and took a chunk out of my finger. Dust everywhere, extraction fan in bathroom filthy.Way over priced for what it is.
- Meredith (8/5): Great little place very cosy - Great little apartment and very quiet area..nice views from deck
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colin (8/5): Private comfortable studio on Freycinet peninsula - Generally well equipped self contained private accommodation meeting almost all our needs. Efficient F&P dishdrawer. Nespresso machine with plenty of spare pods. Huge private deck area. Some minor maintenance needed on window catches as could not operate bathroom or bedroom area windows. Potholes at bottom of very steep driveway. Access to a washing machine would have been useful. Lighting in lounge - kitchen area rather dim so not great for reading
- Leslie (8/5): Very good - Quiet and private Dated, uncomfortable old lounge suite
No microwave or wifi
- Jake (9/5): Superb - Beautiful little studio, everything you need here, so comfortable and relaxing and not far from everything you'd want to visit
- Butel (9/5): Very nice time - The outlook. The bed was very comfortable. My wife is an Interior Designer....the dining table was big enough for 6 people, yet the accommodation was for 2. So just better use of the space to take advantage of the wonderful outlook.
- Rachael (7/5): Good - Location was great The bed was very uncomfortable and there was no washer or dryer
- Helen (10/5): Peaceful and quiet. - Amazing view. Beautifully done. Clean. Good size for a couple. Close drive to all the sights. Needed a microwave and the internet not up. But had a full stove and oven. Didn’t need Wifi as you can turn off for a while..
- Siddhant (1/5): Bad - Nothing The lights and switches etc weren’t working
- Rex (9/5): Superb -
- Koch (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice studio, perfect for 2 people
Very well equipped kitchen with nice BBQ facility on the small terrase, nice shower and spare room to store luggage
Very calm area
- Julie (7/5): Despite the above, we had a lovely stay, so much to do and see in that area. - Cosy, met our needs
Nice shower :) The fact that it wasn’t actually wasn’t in Coles Bay, .
It was advertised as 1 bedroom but infact was a studio.
We had to attend to the freezer on checkin (with permission from the letting agents) and defrost it as the fridge was not cooling our food. Noisey neighbours playing loud music at night.
Odd assortment of eating utensils
- Tobias (9/5): Superb -
- Roisin (7/5): Good - Lovely location, great balcony view Very dusty surfaces inside
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andypmn (9/5): Superb - Very cosy property just outside of the national park. The quietness made it a perfect base for our short stay.
- Susanne (9/5): Superb - Lovely warm vibes and layout. There was a dried dead rat just before the deck entry on the gravel carpark. Not the best first impression and some areas were dusty so had to do a quick clean. The lamp shades/ cord on the bedside tables and the TV stand. We left that as is as we didn't touch the TV but probably want to give it a better clean before next guests.
- Shaba (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (8/5): Very good - Location was fairly convenient. Sofa
- Khairun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Madeline (8/5): Overall it was a very homely - The view was beautiful overlooking one of the bays in the area. I also loved the heater in the room and double glazed windows which assisted in the temperature. The one thing that felt a bit strange was entering the property. To enter, we walked along the balcony which happened to be next to an anjoining property's windows. This meant we could see in and they could see us anytime we entered or exited our stay.
- Jessica (10/5): A cosy stay with beautiful views - Exactly as appears in the images. Lovely and warm during a winter stay. A beautiful cosy little space with stunning views. The sunsets here are phenomenal. Easy access by car into town.
- Carey (10/5): Perfect, thank you - Everything you could want and comfy, warm and relaxing.
- Melissa (7/5): Good -
- George (7/5): Good -
- Trevor (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lucy (9/5): Cute, cosy, and convenient - Lovely view, cosy and clean, all the comforts we needed. Was great to be able to use netflix. Only complaint is that the sofa bed (second bed) was not that comfortable
- Nicola (8/5): Very good -
- Ruth (10/5): Perfect for a getaway or honeymoon - Cute, cosy, beautiful, clean and homely The Windows can be hard to open and close
- Debra (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable , nice views No guest information, we had to figure out somethings ourselves. Eg.. No tv connection, but did have Netflix. Studio connected to house with their windows opening to the guest outdoor area
- Joanne (7/5): Good - windy. dead plants. abit far from main things
- Maree (10/5): Exceptional - Great views to the lake, close to all hiking tracks. Absolutely picturesque. Could not fault the facility.
- Pauline (10/5): we had a beautiful stay .. - everything was just perfect for what we needed .. very comfortable
- Leanne (4/5): it clean, small great location but I felt it was over priced for what it was. - location the fact you had to clean everything with the price they were charging.
- Prue (7/5): Good -
- Ann (8/5): would recommend this place and loved the view and good price - quiet
nice view no microwave
shower a little small
- Grimmond (9/5): Superb -
- Wayne (4/5): very disappointing. the low of our holiday - over priced for its condition, lot’s of instructions to follow or pay more. not that close to beach. long way to eating facility. bad smell coming from the grounds near the veranda possible septic overflow. Fridge power went off with our food in it. Can understand why there is a no refund policy. we wanted to leave soon after entering the property.
- George (7/5): disappointed - the shower and the bed smell of the septic tank. having to boil water to drink it
- Sankey (10/5): Exceptional - The tranquillity Front door lock is a bit of challange
- Nigel (8/5): Very good - A quiet location, well suited to us for hiking. A really lovely, well appointed studio with a great vibe. Great kitchen and facilities. The communication from the management team was great, including instructions about the lock box and the studio. Although the studio seems clean, the cleaner had clearly forgotten to dust for a long time, so that one of us who suffers from hayfever had a difficult time.
