Guest Reviews
- Kurt (6/5): Beware the extra charges - not a short stay venue - Location in town was good Stayed one night and paid more than one nights accommodation charge for cleaning ($200+) and linen service ($75).
When questioning the added extra costs, the remote manager was told us we don't rent for only one night it was Booking.coms fault.
We were given explicit email cleaning instructions as the cleaners time was valuable and if we didn't clean as requested a mythical bond would not be refunded.
Perhaps the cleaners should have removed the cobwebs in the bedroom and the collection of leaves at the front door.
Advertised as a luxury stay, it is far from it. 3 star at best. The unit is tired and in need of some serious TLC. It appeared to be vacant for some time, the front door was troublesome to use (blamed on the coastal environment by the remote manager) and the interior needs rejuvenation.
All in all disappointing, a $500 plus night experience we don't want to repeat.
