Steven (5/5): Good location, little tired in places but description needs updated to pre warn future renters. - The location was fantastic for visiting numerous sights around L.A On arrival it became apparent that there was person/persons residing in the garage/converted guest house which is adjoined to the property. This was not highlighted prior to arrival or on the listing. If it is the owners living there we would have found it less strange/stressful if they had made themselves known on or prior to arrival. We felt a little uncomfortable when we realised 2 days in (after returning home later at night) and found lights on in the garage and movement inside.
Susan (10/5): Exceptional - The owner checked with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was good. Very attentive to guests and made sure every was convenient for us. Booking caused some confusion on fees for pool and spa. It was advertised as included. The owner normally gets an extra fee for heating. The owner made it right but I felt bad she was out that money.
Katherine (8/5): Functional and a great location. - Loved how easy it was to get everywhere we wanted to be in LA - the freeway entrance is nearby, but the neighborhood was quiet. The neighborhood was sweet and felt very well cared for and safe. Loved the yard, the pool, and how spacious this home is - there was plenty of room for myself, my hubby, and our two teenagers. Loved the easy access to grocery stores (Ralph’s and Whole Foods within a mile or two), and the feeling of being in a family neighborhood - chatted with neighbors strolling by as we were unpacking the car, which was nice! The mattress in the master bedroom is FIRM! It was great for my lower back, hard on my shoulders. The kitchen is sparse - not a lot to cook with, there was one pan that I could find, and bare minimum as far as spices, oil, etc. The interior could use a paint job - it was well-kept, but clearly has seen some use. The sheets on the beds were synthetic fabric. These are minor things, but a few updates would take this place from good to truly great.
