- Jade (1/5): Entirely Misleading and Unreasonably Managed - Good location Unfortunately, this was one of the worst accommodation experiences I have had.
Although advertised as an “entire place,” the property operates under extremely strict noise sensitivity that was not clearly or prominently disclosed prior to booking. During our stay, the host attended the door many time regarding normal movement inside the apartment. There was no music, gathering, or breach of stated quiet hours — simply ordinary residential activity.
We were ultimately required to vacate after one night, despite having booked from 19th–23rd February.
The listing photos were also misleading. The advertised city view was not reflective of the actual outlook from the apartment, and there were cardboard coverings on the windows which significantly impacted the presentation and natural light.
In addition, the beds were considerably smaller than expected for standard adult accommodation, and there were housekeeping concerns on arrival, including rubbish left behind.
Overall, the experience caused significant disruption to our trip and required last-minute relocation. I have stayed in many properties and have never encountered a situation like this.
I would only recommend this property to guests seeking an extremely quiet and highly monitored environment.

- Jade (8/5): - The house was located in a prime location. Anjeleen was lovely to deal with, as was her staff member who was working at the business downstairs. The kitchen was equipped well, lots of towels, and the main bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe. The washing machine was located on the back deck and a clothes horse was provided. The front gate was automatic and can be closed via remote. Being situated in a busy part of Brisbane, you will get road noise from early morning traffic and under the flight path. Not a huge deal. Neighbours are noisy, but respectful of the noise curfew. Driveway is steep. Double bed is not the best size for couples.

- Scott (3/5): the property could be improved, but in its current state it does not represent value for money. - Location and size We recently stayed at this property for a work trip, and unfortunately our experience fell well below expectations, especially given the price. While the house has been renovated in parts, several issues made our stay uncomfortable:
Kitchen: Very under-equipped. Hardly any pots, and the two available were rusty and burned out.
Living Room: The television is far too small for a room of this size and standard.
Bedrooms: Below standard. The beds were too small for couples, and the pillows were very poor quality. Cardboard was taped into windows in an attempt to block neighbours’ lights, which did not work. The front bedroom had no proper blinds to block streetlights. Combined with significant street noise, earplugs were essential.
Bathroom: A large bathtub was advertised, but we were told it was “under repairs” and unavailable. The shower head leaked badly, water pressure was poor, and the glass doors leaked so much that the bathroom semi-flooded twice during our stay.
Laundry: The washing machine is downstairs, but we were required to seek permission to access it because the owners run a massage business on the property.
Restrictions: We were asked to remove our shoes and keep quiet due to the massage clinic operating directly below the rental. This made the stay feel more like being in someone’s office than a holiday rental.
Outdoor Area: The outside furniture was completely unsafe to use, badly damaged from sun and rain exposure.
We even sent photos of these issues to the owner and were completely ignored.
After six nights, we left sleep-deprived and very disappointed with the overall service. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again. With attention to the issues above, the property could be improved, but in its current state it does not represent value for money.
- Andrew (8/5): Lovely place, great location. - Great location for city and suburbs and road network, spacious, lovely lounge area, beautifully decorated and presented. Quite noisy from the road noise from 6am.
- Ren (10/5): Straight from the pages of Home & Garden - The house was something straight out of the pages of Home & Garden. The attention to detail was outstanding and the decor greatly complimented the class & taste of the styling of the house. The city views at dusk were just divine. The stained glass throughout the house gave it such a magical element. Of all the properties i've stayed at through booking.com; this one has absolutely made my top 3 and I'm already looking forward to my return visit there.
And as an extra tasty treat, when things couldn't be any more perfect - Anje runs a day spa downstairs (at discounted rates for guests too!! Bonus!) so I booked in for one of their 4hr packages and can't compliment their services any higher! I left feeling rejuvenated, refreshed & reinvigorated!! Having to leave :(
