Andreea (1/5): Overall the experience was disappointing - The location was good! I do not recommend this accommodation during the summer! The apartment was extremely hot, and there was no mention in the description that there is no proper air conditioning. There were two portable AC units, but they were completely ineffective — one even stopped working altogether. I informed the host, but received no response. Additionally, the cleanliness left much to be desired. Definitely not a comfortable stay in hot weather.
Cicero (10/5): Great stay near Ponte Vecchio - The apartment was very clean, modern and spacious. We really appreciated the multiple air conditioning units during the Florence summer and access to the apartment was fairly easy though one of the links did not work to open the front door (but the host was very responsive with WhatsApp). The location was great as it was close to Ponte Vecchio but away from the tourist crowds on a very quiet street. There is a little bit of a climb up the hill to get to the apartment from Ponte Vecchio. Otherwise, everything was excellent!
Lorenzo (3/5): DON´T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. - I liked nothing. DON´T GO HERE! The apartment bears a rancid/musty smell that makes impossible to stay there. WE LEFT AFTER 15 MINUTES. The sofa had several stains on it, covered with a blanket really needed of being washed. The same happened with the table covered by a musty -too- tablecloth, and with some of the chairs. Two of the air-heat machines didn´t work. One of the lamps in one of the bedrooms had its electric wire cut (not a mistake, but a complete lack of care). IT SEEMED TO US LIKE A PRACTICAL JOKE. I phoned the contact, who offered to come and fix something, but the point for me was trying to get my money back, as the things that were wrong, couldn't be solved by then. When one spends 315€/night, expects quite a different thing. (Not being the main thing, you have to climb a steep slope, whip besides isn´t the most beautiful place in Florence.) So we had to leave, and find a new place to stay (it was 31st December, 1730h). As for now, the owner/contact hasn't given to me my money, and Booking has sent a "credit" for half of the amount.
