- Michelle (5/5): Does Not Recommend-Beware - I wanted to love this place so badly. It was spacious, clean and had a great location, although it was a bit sketchy behind the building. Although Alfonso was attentive, the issues during my two nights made this stay not so great. The fuse kept popping leaving us with no electricity. It was warm while we were there and the AC would cause the electricity to go out. We had a very hot night there up in that loft... and not in a good way. We were so excited to have a washing machine during our long trip in Europe, but couldn't run that either due to the electricity, so I was left with soggy clothes for 2 days, as I just started the load when the breakers shut everything off. Even though Alfonso walked us through resetting the breakers, it continued to go out. We were limited to one light and no AC on night 1...and every couple of hours, the AC would dump about a liter of water down the wall and onto the floor. I was up all night trying to make sure it didn't cause any damage. He did get someone there the next evening to fix it, but the repair guy left a mess for me to clean up. With all of these problems, Alfonso still made sure he collected every penny. I think a full refund for the misery would have been more appropriate. We were sure to book another place on our return trip a few days later to ensure a better maintained place with a usable washing machine. I'm so glad we did not return to the Avvocato.

The location is also great, it is very close to the port if you want to take a ferry and also close to the historic site. The host Alfonso is very friendly and responsive, available to support you anytime.

Our only accommodation on a 3.5-week long trip that had a washing machine - we were thrilled! Host Alfonso lovely and great communication via WhatsApp.

We enjoyed our stay there and Alfonso was incredibly accommodating and super responsive with any queries we had. He even helped us with our airport transfer and also gave many good recommendations in Naples.

The hosts were extremely attentive via whatsapp, and the apartment itself was comfortable, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. As a group of 4 friends the bed setup was perfect and the place is great for a group trip.
- Lia (10/5): We had a wonderful time in La Casa dell' Avvocato! - At first, we were hesitant to choose La Casa dell' Avvocato due to the lack of reviews on Booking, but we are extremely glad we did! This apartment was very clean and comfortable, at a great location in a nice neighbourhood. The host, Alfonso, took great care of everything in advance, sent us videos how to find the building and apartment front doors, how to get and use the key, even an initial 10-cent coin for the paid elevator. Alfonso had prepared water bottles, coffee capsules for the coffee machine, tea bags for the teapot. He replied within minutes to every text message we sent. There was an issue with the power, and Alfonso helped fix it straight away. When we had a problem with the bathtub, he replied immediately and helped sort it out. We felt safe in the apartment and in the neighbourhood. The apartment looks exactly like in the pictures, it seemed even more spacious in person. The pink room with the 3 beds has 3 wardrobes and many shelves, which was really convenient, and a small balcony with a beautiful view towards the dome of the church of San Pietro Martire. The apartment is next to the University of Naples and near all major tourist attractions. The farthest we walked on foot was the Archeological Museum, which took about 20 minutes on foot. If we plan another trip to Napoli, we'd definitely choose La Casa dell' Avvocato again!
