Guest Reviews
- Javier (10/5): - Very clean room with amazing amenities, we really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
- JESTO (10/5): - Good service, professional staff, excellent food, clean room, I highly recommend this place to everyone
- Adalbert (10/5): - This property is a bit quirky with the decor and no windows, but I had a great stay and would stay again the next time that I am Iin Osaka. It’s very high tech and had a a jacuzzi and a lot of little toiletries to go along with it. I for the free breakfast delivered to my room in the mornings which was nice and very good. I was concerned about having to call the receptionist every time I wanted to leave, but someone was always there to open the door even at 6 AM so it wasn’t much of an issue for me. The location is fantastic in terms of shopping and accessing public transit. I was even able to walk to and from the Airport Limousine stop (about a 10 ninute walk).
- Wei-Lu (10/5): - Very clean and lovely washroom, very soft bed, friendly staff
- Ken (10/5): Hotel Lotus was fabulous! - My stay at The Hotel Lotus was wonderful. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I slept like a baby at night with air circulation on me. The bathing area is hugh with stand up shower beside the jacuzzi tub. The staff were all friendly as well. Overall, a wonderful three nights stay.
- Fiona (10/5): - Stayed for 3 nights and found it to be an absolutely excellent place to stay. Would recommend.
- Jorma Petri (10/5): - Erinomainen hotelli Osakan keskustassa ruokakatujen ja liikenneyhteyksien varrella. Rauhallinen ja siisti. Suosittelemme 👍
- Humza (10/5): - Great stay. Rooms were huge. Breakfast was delicious
- Kate (10/5): - Unique and fantastic place to stay! Would recommend!
- Ricky (10/5): - Great stay
- Ronald (10/5): - Once you get over having to ring reception every time you wish to leave your room, you will really enjoy the experience. The bed was comfortable and the bathing room luxurious, but I was too scared to open the cloth bag on the shelf behind the bed. :-) Breakfast was small but filling.
- Amber (8/5): - The property was nice, only thing I would mention is the rooms not having rooms keys and have to keep calling to be let out or inside the rooms
- Blanche (8/5): - A truly unique experience. Excellent location for trains and exploring on foot. Bold decoration. Breakfast was delicious and brought to your room. No communal area. The weird thing was there was no key to your room. Access was controlled by a timed magnetic lock that was released by reception. You were locked in your room and had to phone reception every time you wanted to leave. Very disconcerting; and a sock was soon employed to keep the door a far.
- Timothy (10/5): Satisfied customer - Excellent location 10 mins walk from the station. Lovely friendly staff, and they upgraded us to a larger room free of charge, as our original room was a little compact. We would definitely stay there again.
- Anna (10/5): - Perfect location and lots to do around the hotel. It was a really big room and was very clean and nice.
- Clotilde (8/5): - Need to solve issues on locked room doors. But otherwise clean and convenient
- Nautica (10/5): - We booked this property for one night so we didn’t have to take the bullet train back to Tokyo, where we were staying primarily for our trip. This hotel was absolutely beautiful and very convenient! It was actually a lot nicer than the hotel we booked in Tokyo (and cheaper)! The staff was super friendly, and the check-in and check-out was extremely quick. There are tons of amenities and little travel sized items in the room for your needs as well. The bed was also much softer than the bed in our other hotel lol. There are a bunch of shops and restaurants directly beside the hotel. We would highly recommend staying here for the night if you come to visit Osaka! It is also only 4 miles from Universal Studios!
- Shane (10/5): Love Hotels: Japan’s (not so dirty) Secret - First things first: this is a Love Hotel. If you don’t know what that is, I recommend looking it up. There is definitely a certain connotation regarding Love Hotels, which is why this is so incredibly affordable. But I have to say: this was one of my favorite experiences in Japan. The room was over-the-top themed, yet way more luxurious and less tacky than I anticipated. It was absolutely immaculate and clean and far more spacious than any room I booked in Tokyo. It’s also right in the heart of Umeda and close to everything.
The staff are very accommodating but you will absolutely never see them. They value discretion and privacy in this type of establishment so if you run into a staff member in the hall they will literally turn the other way and run to hide behind a curtain.
The one strange thing is the lock system: they don’t give their guests keys and you have to buzz in to open your electronically locked door… that includes leaving the room too. I will admit, the idea of being locked inside my room outside of my control is strange and scary, but I never had a problem opening the door.
I am now recommending Love Hotels as my number one tourist secret to all my friends visiting Japan. Pay no attention the sexual nature of the place (or do! Do you!) and you have a really amazing and luxurious stay right in the heart of downtown Osaka.
- Keri (10/5): - I know. A love hotel. But you know what, this was an amazing stay. Our room was beautiful and had a couch and a pretty good sized bathroom, complete with a shower and jacuzzi tub. Also, the staff were always there to help you if you had any questions or or needed help. They helped us to get a cab to transport our two huge luggage’s when we were trying to send it to the airport. There is also an option to rent out their two hot springs for the day. You could choose which type of hot spring you wanted and they would need 2 hours to get it ready, but you could ask them to set a time for them to have it ready for you. Please be warned, we didn’t know that they would set it to 48 C! Which is extremely hot for us! So it’s probably best to tell them your preference first on how hot you’d like it. A good temperature for us was 42-44 C. It was also weird that they didn’t give us a room key. You needed to call them/buzz them to be let into your room, but it wasn’t too much of a problem. But, best love hotel I stayed at, ever!
- Lorraine (10/5): - The staff was very nice and welcoming, the food was very good, the bathroom and bed were large for a Japanese Hotel!
- Utkarsh (6/5): - This was definitely an interesting experience. The property doesn’t have key cards for rooms so the room door auto locks and you have to call front desk to leave or come back in. The room is also extremely tiny. However, there is a wonderful jacuzzi in every room, and the staff is really nice and helpful. It has a lot of “happy surprises”. A very interesting and overall positive experience.
- Verified traveler (10/5): -
- LePreston (2/5): - Room is so dirty
