Guest Reviews
- Karen (9/5): Lovely cottage that meet all of my expectations - This was a nice, cosy stay after our Overland Track hike. Lovely kitchen and bathroom. Everything was very neat and clean. I would definitely stay again if I’m ever back in Hobart I couldn’t get the electric fireplace in the TV room working
- AmateurTravelBlogger (9/5): Charm meets style - A charming brick terrace tucked away in a lane within walking distance to the CBD and harbour. Mixing charming original features and adding stylish interior design makes this home a delight to the senses, while being cosy, homely, and comfortable. During our 5-day stay we walked down to Salamanca Markets and also along the Hobart Rivulet, where one of us was lucky enough to spot a platypus - not me, unfortunately. There we also found the Women’s Convict Prison and Cascade Brewery. If you’re museum buffs, the Hobart Museum is a must, we spent several hours there. The walk through time from British settlement to its devastating effect on Tasmania’s indigenous peoples was stark and very moving. A late date change was also accommodated and very much appreciated, with warm and friendly communications. No toilet upstairs for the bedrooms, so it’s a trek down steep stairs in the night if needed.
- Joel (6/5): Cozy living room, awful parking - Walking distance to the city..
Charming decor. Well equipped home.
Very cosy living room.
Spacious laundry. Great for a big mid-trip wash. The dishwasher was broken and full of water when we arrived. Given that a simple visual check would have indicated something was wrong... I'm surprised that this wasn't identified and fixed before check-in. The dishwasher wasn't fixed during our stay because.
Parking is problematic. Parking in the immediate vicinity is either metered or time limited. How big a problem this might be depends if it's a weekday or weekend. If you're unlucky, it'll be very inconvenient during check in/out depending on the amount of luggage you have).
- Fiona (10/5): Amazing home. Would definitely stay again especially during the cooler months. - Tv in 1 of the bedrooms would have been great especially with a teenager.
- Marina (10/5): Exceptional - Place is stunning, location is just perfect. Totally worth the price paid
- Hemanshu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cheuk (10/5): A cozy house to enjoy lovely Hobart city! - The location is very close to all major activities of the CBD and pretty quiet as it retreats to a minor street. The interior is thoughtfully furnished and meticulously done to provide a cozy vibe and nicely equipped for family stay and meals. Highly recommended and the owners’ generous sharing of their former(?) home is very much appreciated. The steep inclined staircase to the upper bedrooms is probably the only issue to be mindful for the elderly.
- Robyn (9/5): Superb -
- Jeff (9/5): Superb - Not enough toilet paper
- Michelle (10/5): Amazing stay! - Amazing apartment, very well equipped, lovely and high quality furniture. Good Location, Close to Bus Stop and centre. Nothing
- Michael (9/5): Superb - We loved the cleanliness, the decor, the comfort, the location. The owners have put a lot of thought into their guests' requirements. We would go there again. As an older couple, the descent down the stairs from the bedroom to the bathroom in the middle of the night was a bit daunting.
- Nayana (10/5): here, from the complimentary whisky on arrival to the great location, super comfortable beds and - Beautifully styled, comfortable beds, close to everything and well equiped Everything was amazing
- Rhianna (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely terrace accomodation in the city. Easy to walk to local attractions. Accomodation was clean and provided a warm and welcoming place to return to after a day out.
