Guest Reviews
- Charlotte (10/5): I will miss here, it is beautiful and peaceful. I would love to come back here 🌸 - Initially I was very nervous. This is my first time away and it is far from home. With my anxiety, settling wasn’t the easiest - but this is more of a personal element. When I arrived I was a little apprehensive (will elaborate) however during my stay has been lovely. Hosts were responsive to queries. The apartment imo is beautiful. Everything worked for me. Noise curfew wasn’t an issue as I don’t typically make much sound. Also (again will elaborate), I met two lovely neighbours and when I asked a neighbour to help me with bags (I gravelly overestimated both what I needed to pack and my own strength), they helped with no issues. I never got their names but they were on the lower floor and I appreciate their kindness. In fact, I’ve been blown away by how kind people are. The apartment was clean and presentable. The balcony is nice however I mainly used it to film a rabbit in the parking lot and free a spider because I have a phobia of heights lol
I will gravely miss here. It has been incredible and as a lone female traveller whose first experience is this and is autistic and disabled, I personally felt incredibly safe. Which is rare for me. I will also deeply thank the hosts for being mindful of my disability (mainly because pain from it can cause loudness - luckily nothing happened this time but they were compassionate about the potential I may accidentally yell. I appreciate their understanding. If you’re lucky, you can see giant hares on a morning on the grass. IMO this is ideal if you’re concerned to look too much like a tourist and wish to blend in better for safety. It feels like home from home. If I could, I’d move here! The WiFi is fantastic and I watched YouTube primarily. A neighbour accidentally connected his phone to my tv and that was pretty funny! Here has felt very liberating. Also you get fans for the heat. If you need any help, the hosts will gladly help. I want to elaborate that PERSONALLY I had no issues. And again, I felt 100% safe (as someone who’s deeply anxious.) I would say if anything is personal, I’m sad to leave LOL For more generic guidance to anyone reading, the area is a little rough. I come from a rough area myself so it didn’t particularly get to me - in fact, I left the apartment late and still felt incredibly safe. This is less a criticism on the place itself - do note. You will be looked after here! If you’re worried, ask an uber to watch you enter (but again there are cameras so it’s pretty safe!) Genuinely wish I could stay!
- Joanna (8/5): - Very nice inside. Great location for our purposes

- Michelle (8/5): Great little apartment but in a bad area - Check in was great, we where early and was able to leave our bags in the unit and go have lunch and returned at check in time.
Easy check in, and host great communication.
Lots of amenity in the unit... Could have measuring cups since they did have bakewaer. The bathroom sink was so clogged my husband’s a contractor and spent 40 minutes, pulling crap out to only have a back up again, l all the lights in the apartment have a flicker like a current issue. The bathroom light is almost like you a strobe light for the rest of the unit. It’s just randomly flickering..
There where police sirens almost every 2 to 3 hours you could hear them or see the lights near nearby.
A man follow us in from outside and we asked him. Did he have a key he said he lived on the top floor.
then, when we got to our unit, it was sitting at the end of the hall on the staircase, and then took off as two women. We were quite afraid by this.
for all food delivery, you must go down and greet them at the door after this incident. We were too afraid to do that at night, so my husband had to go down each time.
- Diane (8/5): It was a good experience with minimal challenges. - The unit was fully equipped with dishes, appliances, soaps for dishes, laundry, and bathroom. Bright and nicely appointed. Arriving to find almost all sheets, towels and duvet covers were hanging soaking wet; however, Warren quickly remedied the situation. Not having any regular TV channels was not good - especially at the beginning of the NHL play offs! There were no dish cloths and instead a tiny sponge about 2” X 1” and it was challenging as well as tea towels to dry dishes.
- Adams (9/5): Superb -
