• André (4/5): Nice and central location, but the appartment was a disappointment (at least for this price) - Very nice location -The appartment had a water damage about which we were only informed when getting the key instructions. -One of the rooms was really separate and not very convenient -One window could not be opened -The heating worked only partially -I asked for a reasonable 25% refund due to the issues described above and did not hear back from the owner after initial replies and repeated follow ups
• Monica (1/5): Water Damaged, Basement Apt. With No Hot Water and Mold Present - Good location. Everything else was terrible. 1. There was no hot water. 2. The living room wall (a roughly 12 X 12 foot area) was covered in water damage and mold. The pictures on Booking were taken from strategic angles to avoid the water damage being captured. The ceiling of the soffit wall, above the water damaged wall was exposed and wires were coming down. It was also heavily water damaged. 3. The tall lamp’s shade, next to the damaged wall, was covered in brown spots and stains due to extensive water damage. 4. The fabric on the furnishings also had water damage spots. 5. The bathroom had black mold on all of the walls. The mold was very visible between the grout in the shower as well as out of the shower. 6. The mirror above the sink in the bathroom was broken. A quarter of the mirror was missing and there were exposed glass shard edges. 7. There was a large dehumidifier in the living room, behind the dining chairs (blue unit). The humidifier drain hose ran across the floor from the living room into the kitchen sink. The drain hose was covered by a black electrical tape to secure it to the carpet creating a tripping hazard. See pictures. 7. The toaster in the kitchen was covered in grease and grime. Crumbs present behind items on kitchen counters. See picture. 8. Carpet and rugs had stains and crumbs. A formal complaint was made to management during our stay. A complaint with pictures was also made to Booking. Only received a partial refund. Cut 2 night stay into 1 night. Left as soon as we could secure another place to stay. I wish the app allowed more than 4 pictures to be added because the extent of the mold and water damage was unbelievable.
• Tom (8/5): Nice location and good value for money. - Basement apartment in a very nice neighbourhood. Easily sleeps 5 people. Large terrace. Good cooking facilities. Alzira was late in letting us know on how to collect the key, causing quite some stress.
