• Kate (10/5): Easy walk into town and beach. Nicely renovated with character - The house was a quick walk into town and to the beach and also to the transport we were taking into Warnambool. The house is a beautiful old building that has been really well done up whilst keeping its character. Nothing!

Sometimes photos online look good and the property doesn’t look as good when you get there. This was even better!! There’s nothing we didn’t like, however the aircon in the dining area was very loud, so we couldn’t use it.

Spotless, homely, comfortable, huge kitchen utensils, couch, warm rooms and comfortable beds The locked box needs to have glo in the dark numbers and instructions to press “c” before numbers . Wood could be supplied all year not just winter as still cold in November - just for the atmosphere.

Although redolent with history, the cottage has been beautifully and tastefully restored and extended to provide excellent and very comfortable holiday accommodation. The cottage is spacious and tastefully furnished, with a well equipped kitchen and laundry, impeccably clean and in excellent condition.

Great location in walking distance to city center and beaches, yet quiet. We loved our stay at Magnet Cottage very much. Would have wished to stay longer.

Port Fairy streetscapes are beautifully maintained and preserved, and the local folk incredibly warm and friendly. Lovely to discover a fresh loaf of bread, eggs, milk, butter and tomatoes on arrival at Magnetic Cottage. Also very welcoming entering to relaxing music, abundant light and a beautifully styled interior. Our dog couldn't stop wagging her tail with excitement. Such an easy walk to shops, river, beaches, and off-lead dog parks from the cottage. The car got a holiday too. A dishwasher would have been handy, but not a deal breaker.

Very close to the town centre but very quiet, pet friendly with easy street parking. Host was excellent re communication and needs.

To be able to walk out for dinner and enjoy the shops. It was a bonus for us to be able to take our furr babies and enjoy the backyard.
