• Guest (2/5): No air conditioning - don't go in the middle of summer. Host is unresponsive. - Good location. The booking had stated there was air conditioning. There was not. We had gone to stay at the cottage in the middle of July during a heatwave and my wife and I had brought our 7-month old daughter and dog. The cottage was incredibly hot and the fans barely worked. We had messaged the host on the Friday we arrived. We did not hear back. I called the host on the Saturday and left a voicemail. The host did not call back. We didn't hear back from the host until Monday morning. The acknowledged the mistake and mentioned they would refund our stay. We did not hear back on the refund. I would not stay here in the summer. Full stop. It will be too hot stay in the cottage. Don't expect the host to respond over the weekend if there is an issue otherwise.
