- Frank (10/5): A perfect place for groups to stay at, much much better than hotels. - Where to start..
We found this villa almost by accident while booking our japan trip. It was new to booking.com so it had some extra discount at the time.
The location of the villa is very nice, its a 15 minute walk to Akabane station, going through the nice lala garden area.
The entrance is through 1 sliding door and from that point is separated between 2 accommodations. We had the 2nd and 3rd floor for our group of 6 people. We never heard the other residents downstairs.
Its a no shoe home - as are many places in Japan ofcourse.
There are 5 distinct different bedrooms, so given we had 6 people 2 of them had to sleep in the same room. Most of the rooms offer tatami mat sleeping places, there is 1 bedroom with a 2 person bed.
Every room has air-conditioning, every room has nice lighting. It is very pretty inside and there are enough outlets around to charge your devices.
there are 2 bathrooms, 1 of them just has a shower and sink. The other one has the hottub / shower combination which was rather nice to take a bath after a long day of walking. That bathroom also offered the clothes washing machine (it didnt have instructions with it, so we had to figure that out ourselves, perhaps something for the host to supply in the future :) )
Its honestly a perfect place for 6 people to rest at after their adventures as there was a table with 6 chairs to chill at every day.
There was a kitchen with stove, but we didnt cook ourselves. The refrigerator has plenty of room inside and also has a freezer section.
This place elevated our stay at Japan to very high heights, its deffinitely worth it and just all over a very nice experience.
The host was very helpful as well, at some point the wifi wasnt working and the host immediately gave us tips to fix it and if that wouldnt have worked would send someone to look at it.
Its a much more honest and fun experience to stay at this villa compared to staying at a hotel. You actually have a common room to rest at together! There were some slight damages to some of the paper sliding doors, accidental damage of course, they are fragile.
Needed to reset wifi router 2 times in 3 weeks.
