Guest Reviews
- Christopher (5/5): - Did not accommodate seven people, there was only space for 6
- Aidan Zane (10/5): Amazing - They were great Maybe locating it thats about it

- Smith (1/5): - The entrance + stairs are dreadful. It is not an enormous flat at all. The bathroom was awful. One bed in the lounge + a horrible looking setteee we couldn't even sit on. The patio was nothing more than an ugly roof + all the parking all around is resident only. We booked into a hotel instead. We are all travellers around the world, India, Egypt, + lots of Asia + often so often downscale but not this time, I'd give it a minus. Sad. All of the above
- Danyaal (10/5): - Really easy to check in, clean, comfortable and staff were really easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again!
- Coralie (7/5): Warm and lovely host, decent accommodation - My family came to visit for a week. The accommodation is located in a nice street in East London. The host was very responsive and had warm and great communication. The instructions were clear and we had no issue to get in. I would not say the accommodation is ‘enormous’.
The cleaning was not up to scratch and I believe that a few basic items are missing ie sugar.
You need a good walk to reach the nearest overground station - not easy with little ones.

- Keyte (1/5): It didn’t happen because the host did not leave a key. - We didn’t get to stay at the property. We arrived at the property at 8pm, used the codes we had been sent to access the building door, got in. Then used the access code for the door to the apartment. The code worked by the door was clearly locked from the inside and would not open.
We spent TWO HOURS trying to reach the host. We called the number available to us, sent iMessages and WhatsApp’s and did not hear anything.
It was until we managed to speak to someone at booking.com who sent an official email to the host that we heard from them. Two hours later. They then tried to make it seem like we were typing the code in wrong. We sent video footage of what was happening. They then passed us on to someone else, who informed us it would take at least another hour to get a key to us to let us in.
At this point we were absolutely exhausted and just wanted somewhere to stay so we informed the host because of their bad planning and not adhering to basic needs of guests, we would not stay. We were given a full refund, but it was just an absolutely ridiculous experience.
I’m not sure I would recommend staying somewhere that you can’t be certain of being able to get in to.
- Nicola (8/5): Perfect for what we needed. - Communication was excellent, location was perfect for what we needed. One of the bedrooms was really bright, due to the time of the year the apartment was very hot 🥵
- Beth (3/5): 1 night stay, wouldn’t do any more than that. Not the cleanest and quite a busy area lot of noise at night. - The towels weren’t clean, luckily we brought our own. The shower curtain wasn’t very clean either. The mattresses were rock hard. It was quite grimy in places.
Didn’t feel very safe as the main door code was same as the flat door.
- Beata (7/5): - It was very hot even with the fans that owner provided
- gabriel (10/5): -

- Ringo (7/5): Good -
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed for one night over the weekend as a family (my husband, our 10-month-old baby, and I), and had a lovely experience. The location was great—well connected to Stratford Station, which was super handy for getting to the airport. I really appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out times, as I had reached out to the host in advance and they were very accommodating. The flat itself was comfy and cozy. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend it! N/A
- Montecillo (10/5): Exceptional - Rooms and facilities are all excellent
- Dan (8/5): Very good -
- Una (8/5): Very good - Place was nice The bed in the large bedroom was very uncomfortable, big hollow in the middle of it,very bad for my back
- Catherine (9/5): Superb - For the price I think it was a great place to stay - plenty of room for us and in a brill location. Host was responsive. No complaints!
- Jessica (9/5): Great communication from hosts. Perfect location for our trip to London - Door code made it super easy to access the flat
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jack (10/5): Exceptional - Great flat nice and clean and all the facilities you need
- Mohammed (1/5): Bad -
- Jennifer (8/5): Was a good stay good location - Where it is located The decoration needs a bit of upgrade
- Delito (4/5): Disappointing -
- Oliver (7/5): Good - The size and location was perfect for what we needed. The bed in bedroom 2 didn't have any support and so my friends (who are a couple) rolled into the middle when it dipped down and therefore were not very comfortable and therefore didn't sleep very well.
There was also a bit of dirt around particularly in the living room where some had stained the floor near the radiator.
- Munkhsolongo (3/5): Poor -
- Leevon (8/5): Very good -
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hmg (5/5): Passable -
- Tracy (8/5): Great flat. - Great flat. Spacious bedrooms. Clean and tidy. We had trouble getting into one of the bedrooms (my fault) and the host was very quick with his responses and helped us resolve the issue. The street was a lot quieter than I thought it would be.
- Dermot (4/5): Disappointing - Nothing in particular Arrived but door code we had been given had been changed. Very nice man in shop underneath helped us contact host (whose number booking.com did not provide). Also the booking.com help number did not answer but instead tried to force us to use the booking.com app.
The loo seat was very loose. There was a plug lead across the floor to the fridge - a trio hazard and of questionable safety.
It says it sleeps 7 and I theory this may be correct using the pull out living room couch but no bedding was provided for this. In the absence of such proper bedding the flat should In our opinion be designated as sleeps 5 only.
We were attending a wedding in Hackney town hall but tge flat is too far from there.
Best item - the nice man in the nice organic food shop on the ground flour.
Worst item - the loo seat!
- Dinakar (3/5): Poor -
- Chidinma (10/5): Good experience,i will recommend - The arrangement of the house is good Nothing
- Bergogirl (4/5): It's not an enormous flat. Tired flat in need of repair it was a very disappointing stay. - Heating was on which I requested.
Answered my question quickly.
Chats Organic Shop is amazing. Steep narrow steps to flat, a pushchair in the narrow hallway. Sleeps 7 people. Cleaners only made up three beds, no extra bedding available. I had to turn 2 of my family guests away to stay somewhere else!!! When I thought I had booked three bedrooms... There was a gas smell in the kitchen. Not enough cutlery for 7 or chairs at the kitchen table.(4) Furniture in the flat is poor damaged & broken. The cost of £504 for two nights in this poor state should be refunded. Definitely do not recommend this property.
- Elle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leon (7/5): Good - Number of beds, instructions, speed of comms. Not enough mirrors. Poor first impression, awkward stairs.
- Moshood (7/5): Good -
- Neil (9/5): Large, great value apartment, well located for local amenities. - A very large and spacious property in North London, well located for public transport, cafés and food shops, offering great value accommodation.
Communication with the owner was excellent throughout.
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. As others have mentioned, the bathroom is old fashioned, and the shower is, frankly, poor.
- Gisela (10/5): Exceptional - It was very easy to get to the place, the instructions were very clear. The place matched our expectations. We were there just for one night and had to leave very early on the next day so we were really just looking for a place to sleep well and this place was great for it. But I would also recommend it for longer stays cause the locations is good and I thought the price was also fair.
- Zoltan (9/5): Superb - Cosy apartment nearby(30 min - train+tube) from city center. Shops/restaurants nearby. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Cleanliness of the room
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- John (5/5): Overnight stay to attend event nearby. Appartment was adequate but sketchily repurposed. - location Kitchen/Diner was tiny with too little space for seat and table. Bathroom needs refitting.
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Trekkah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rana-omer (9/5): very good - good location. big flat with 3 big rooms. clean. we appreciated. was warm. nothing.
