Guest Reviews
- John (7/5): spoiled by small things - location all bins were full no place to put rubish no info one when bins could be put out for collection
- Heather (7/5): In general it is in a great location and is a great unit, great bathroom, heating and facilities. - Very spacious and great to have 3 double bedrooms and lovely outdoor space The mattresses are hard and did not get the best sleep. The lamps in the middle bedroom did not work? And my mother sat on the end of the bed (the bedroom closest to the toilet ) and the slats gave way, oh dear, it was fixable.
- Maureen (7/5): Good - Location was good Disappointed with the musty/smoke smell on arrival - no wifi or BBQ or actual outdoor setting
- Kerry (8/5): Very good - God value and convenient location, very homely It did need some TLC maintenance..
- Tania (9/5): Superb - Lots of room and lovely outdoor area. Well equipped for cooking and laundry
- Maria (5/5): Loved Tasmania . House was ok - We cooked our own breakfast. Location was ok. Was very stuffy . Too warm . Fans didn’t work . Some lights didn’t work . Oven needs updating
- Tracey (5/5): Passable -
- Sarah (8/5): Great location - Location was amazing and the property had plenty of room for all of us. It was lovely and quiet despite being so close to everything.
- Anita (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great, and the property is perfectly setup for families
- Graeme (8/5): Very good -
- Erin (10/5): Exceptional - instructions were clear and easy
- Virginia (9/5): Superb - Easily accessed villa unit, in good location. Walk into town, to eateries and shops and waterfront. Clean and although we didn’t do any cooking in the unit it looked well equipped to do so. Although it was noted in the description it is disappointing when there is no WiFi, otherwise no issues.
- Prue (9/5): Great unit in good location. - Great little unit for our family of 5's 2 night stay. Some kids games and books and a cute little courtyard. Owners communicated really well and were very friendly. A couple of the rooms had a strange damp smell and a dryer would have been handy as the washing line is in the shade all afternoon, so it was hard to get washing dry.
- Carrie (9/5): Superb -
- Medgar (8/5): Very good - Location was great. Very spacious for a family. Great kids playroom. Couch was a bit uncomfortable.
- Brea (8/5): Great stay, would definitely stay again - Location was great. Very clean and tidy! Had everything we needed for our family trip
- Mary (10/5): Would stay again. - Fabulous shower head. Comfy bed. Comfy sitting. Clean and tidy. Well appointed. Outdoor sitting. Lemon tree was a bonus. There was nothing we didn’t like.
- Bird (8/5): Was ok but need’s some maintenance - Location Rubbish bin was locked shut
- Lynne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harrison (9/5): Superb - Na. Cleanliness of area outside and around the unit. Sweep up and rubbish removal.

- Aanya (10/5): Lovely place that made us feel at home - We loved our stay at this comfortable holiday home in St Helens. The house is big and was stocked with everything you could need, from kitchen appliances to board games. The hosts were extremely accomodating and replied promptly, even on Xmas eve. I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but we really enjoyed our stay here and everyone agreed that this was our favourite accomodation out of the 5 that we booked for our week long Tassie trip. Couldn't find the drying rack as we did our laundry, it is possible that the cleaners had accidentally kept it in a room that we didn't have access to - but this was a non issue and we were able to manage. Truly, everything was great and there are no real negatives here.
- Jordan (9/5): Superb - Very central to town, good spacious house with everything you need including toys and books for children. Floor was noisy in large bedroom and room accessing it.
- Susie (8/5): Close and convenient as a base station. - Easy to find and very spacious. Close to town centre but far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Beds were clean and very comfortable. Property manager was great to communicate with. Has alot of crockery and cooking appliances available to use(very convenient). It does also have a kids play room for convenience. Couldn’t use the washing machine as it was mouldy and smelt very very bad. No welcome/info kit upon arrival. No brochures about the area (we left some for others convenience). No wifi and phone service is poor. No serviettes or paper towel which was annoying.
- Mohrie (7/5): Good - The unit was lovely once inside. Driving into accommodation was not good on the eye. the garden was very neglected, very bad when one of our guests started pulling the weeds out, chairs were very unstable in the dining room, and we could not access the garbage bins.
- Dyer (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay in St Helens and Reel Close a great place to stay - A great location being walkable into town, on the main road but quiet at night. Trees made the outside area private during the day. 3 good large beds and facilities all look to have been upgraded not too long ago. Everything we needed was there. Staff at the letting agency were friendly, responsive and had good local knowledge. A personal preference some lighter bedding - was quite warm. Free wifi would be handy these days. One dining chair a bit rickety but only 3 if us so didn't use that one and no doubt will be addressed
- Ashlee (7/5): Good -
- Rod (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rick (8/5): Very comfortable and plenty of space - Games were a great addition and we had fun playing them. Missing smaller kindling for the fireplace, only big logs and firestarters which meant it went out after firestarter consumed.
