De havde også el scooter vi kunne låne, så man selv kan komme lidt omkring eller køre en tur ind til Guilin city. Maden var rigtig god, Menuen er primært lokale retter.

Martyn (10/5): Just loved our stay here . - This is a small Hotel the rooms are big and well appointed and spotlessly clean . The staff go above and beyond to help you and are incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were good and very tasty . The area is quiet and beautiful and only a few minutes walk to some incredible caves . A taxi into town is just a short trip and costs 15-20yuan . We would definitely stay here again .

As luzes do quarto são muito fracas e deveria ter uma rede contra os mosquitos a porta da varanda do quarto. Номер чистый, опрятный, все что надо есть, подушки обалденные! Каждый день меняли полотенца, тапочки и все принадлежности были. завтрак отличный, арбуз, кофе, чай, пельмени, все есть чтобы не остаться голодными. Очень удобно расположен. С одной стороне живешь на природе, с другой до города 10 минут на такси. От отеля есть экскурсии, так же если возникают какие то вопросы, вам помогут их решить. Отель пет Френдли. Sound of the air conditioner which couldn’t be turned off, even after removing the electricity card. There were mosquitoes in the night, so we plugged-in mosquito repellent after which we got to sleep. The corners/edges in the toilet weren’t very clean.

Our room was very clean, comfortable, spacious and with a beautiful view to the mountains. Breakfast also was lovely, we do recommend to try the hand-made osmanthus jam, delicious! As a solo traveller, the hotel was extremely well organised, offering support with scooters, taxis, and bookings, including my day trip to Yangshuo. The room itself was excellent. It was spacious, very comfortable, and had amenities that exceeded expectations, offering outstanding value for money. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was Qim. Her generosity, home cooked meals, and genuine hospitality went far beyond expectations. The combination of excellent organisation, a fantastic room, and outstanding personal care made Secret Garden Hotel an unforgettable place to stay, and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Special thanks to Qim for her kindness and generosity, which truly made this stay stand out. If I stayed there longer.

Pour notre départ tôt le matin vers la gare, on nous avait préparé un panier repas ! - il est possible de laver ses vêtements : lave linge, lessive et sèche linge. - les repas sont excellents. Nous avons petit déjeuner et le dîner. - la literie est confortable, la salle de bain est sublime. Nous n’avons pas manqué d’équipement durant notre séjour. Nous conseillons vivement cet établissement. Le lit et l'oreiller étaient très confortables et moelleux. L'hôtel est décentré et il faut prendre un Didi ou un taxi pour rejoindre le centre, mais en contrepartie, il est très calme.

Free drinking water, free dry cleaning, excellent breakfast. They were helping with organising the River Li tour, free e-scooter to drive around.

Alane (10/5): - I recently stayed at this hotel, from the moment I checked the owner provided the highest level of service. She was so kind end thoughtful and provided lots of useful advice on sights to see and thing to do in the area. As well as being extremely comfortable and excellent value for money, the food is fantastic, it's cooked with local produce and creates authentically Chinese dining experience during each meal. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this hotel and the owner made my stay extra especial, I would encourage everyone to stay here during a visit to China.

Eugen (8/5): - Das Hotel war in einer schönen ruhigen Umgebung. Die Betreiberin war sehr herzlich und hat sich gut um die Gäste gekümmert. Das Zimmer war gross und sauber. Im Bett gab es eine wärmende Unterlage, die sehr angenehm war. Entgegen der versprochenen Seesicht gab das Zimmer nur Sicht auf eine Erdbeerplantage. Im Badezimmer war es kühl und die Badewanne liess sich nur äusserst langsam auffüllen. Dass die Betreiberin alleine im Hotel war, reduzierte die Geschwindigkeit von gewissen Dienstleistungen. Das Hotel hat auch leider zu viele Fotos von buchbaren Aktivitäten anstelle von Bildern des Hotels selbst.

Angie (10/5): A magical stay in Guilin - My son and I had the most wonderful stay here. The owner is super nice and helpful, and she made sure we had freshly cooked food to eat as a vegan and a vegetarian. This was especially nice when we arrived in town later at night! The hotel is very beautifully designed and comfortable. The location is amazing - close to the city centre by taxi but located within a quiet town. Thank you to the owner and her cat Mengmeng for a wonderful stay!

KATE (10/5): - The hotel's free laundry service solved our travel problem. Although the hotel is not located in the city center,But they offer free scooters. It takes only 15 minutes to reach the pedestrian street. They also arranged terrace field tour for us. Great！
Louise (10/5): I’ll absolutely come back to stay here next time! - The hotel is located in a peaceful village about 8 minutes from the city center. It’s very safe, quiet, and has a very laid-back atmosphere. The owner is incredibly sweet and welcoming. She makes the best Guilin rice noodles! She even cooked me a bowl when I arrived late at 10 p.m. (and she speaks Cantonese!). Breakfast is made to order and very generous. There are also laundry facilities available on the property, which is a great bonus. Nothing!

Rohan (9/5): Very nice stay, great hospitality from the team, highly recommended - We had a great 3 night family stay recently . The location was perfect for Guilin , in a quiet , tranquil location close to the reed flute cave attraction and karst hills yet within a short taxi ride to the city centre. Ms. Qin and her team were very responsive and helpful , the pickup from the Train station was seamless . Our tour guide to the Li River Cruise and Yangshou County, Mr Qin , was excellent , friendly, spoke good English and even helped us with amendments to our train tickets back to Hongkong . The team were genuinely interested in ensuring we had a great experience . The 4 km running/ cycling track and bicycle hire next to the hotel was a bonus . Would definitely recommend the hotel.
Yvonne (9/5): Fantastic choice for your stay in Guilin. I’d absolutely book with Qin again. - The rooms are modern and lovely with a beautiful view of the mountains in front. (We were in the family room) Qin our host was honestly the best there is. Attentive, joyful, kind, and goes out of her way to make your stay great. If there in Dec do try the strawberries on the farm opposite. Lovely and sweet The western breakfast was lacking choice. Fruit was sweet local oranges - really lovely. But a little more choice of fruit would have been great. Cooked oats (this was winter) would have been fantastic. Dumplings were listed but we saw none. They would have made our stay I am sure. It is a long drive to Yangshuo, for a day tour, but we were pleased we stayed 3 nights at Secret Garden Lakeside Hotel.

My kiddos had great time harvesting the strawberries. There were so so sweet n fragrant. The owner Qing is so generous - upon seeing my 3 kids are grown up size, she volunteer to upgrade us to bigger family room on complimentary just to ensure we have a comfortable stay, so touched. Qin, the lady greeted us when we arrived, who co-owns and manages the place, was very responsive, helpful and flexible with our queries about day tours we were interested in. She upgraded us to a family suite since Dec is low season. Even though our 4 days in Guilin were so packed that we didn't spend much time in the room other than sleeping and taking showers, we appreciate very much her hospitable gesture, especially when we saw the sun rise from the balcony on a cloudless day. She also went out of her way to provide us the fruit we requested for breakfast. We wondered why there is no mini fridge in the room as it is quite standard for even a 3-star lodging but I guess they'll let you use the fridge in the combined kitchen and breakfast area if you need to. Note that the toilets on the lobby level are all squat style so it's a bit hard for my friend who has minor balance issue. The location is pleasant, away from the busy touristy areas yet it is walking distance to the Reed Flute Cave which many regard as a must see attraction. We enjoyed our stay very much and were talking about another trip to Guilin before we left.

About (10/5): - The staff are warm and attentive. The room is spacious and decorated in a Chinese style, exuding a rich Chinese cultural atmosphere. The hotel is located beside the Lumiya Scenic Area, with a large lake in front of it. It's also very convenient to get in and out. If I have the chance to visit Guilin again in the future, I will definitely choose this hotel. It's wonderful.
Eisner (10/5): - It feels amazing. Living here is like being in nature. There is a large lake in front of the hotel and you can go rafting on it. Opposite is the scenic area of Reed Flute Cave. The rice noodles in the breakfast cabinet are excellent.

Camira (10/5): Would recommend and come back in a heartbeat! - OMG the property was just amazing in every way possible! From the location sitting right in front of a lake and glorious mountains to the staff who were most accommodating and hospitable to say the least! Went to Longji and the caves on the manager’s recommendation and the trips did not disappoint! I was especially pleased with the Chinese breakfast and the coffee! Thank you so much for a delightful experience! Sorry, but there was absolutely nothing to complain about!
