• Konstantin (1/5): Not recommended, host is avoiding their faults - Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing for several reasons: - The apartment was very noisy, with thin walls, we could clearly hear loud neighbors and children screaming. - The apartment is small, despite the listing on Booking stating it was 200 square meters (I even double-checked it several times before booking - no it's not 200m2, it's barely 30m2 inside). The courtyard seems to be shared, and it's unclear where the terrace is, where exactly are the 200 square meters? Even with the terrace included, the apartment clearly wasn’t 200 square meters, unless they’re counting the abandoned or unfinished space behind the building (?) - The host arrived 30 minutes late, even though we were told they would meet us upon arrival, and we had to wait. - The toilet had very low water pressure, which made it difficult to flush properly. - The toilet had very strange smell. Overall, it felt like the main goal was just to collect the money, with little attention to the quality of our stay... :D P.S. The host does not know how to improve their apartment and cannot take constructive criticism into consideration. Instead, they respond with insults and pretend that everything is fine, while refusing to acknowledge any issues. They blame guests for leaving honest reviews and comments, and continue renting the place out with misleading information. Good luck with that, but this is not how good business works. Shame on you!
• Čabala (10/5): - The personal was very nice and helpful. We had a small complication with a room which was solved very quickly and everything was very clean. The apartment has a huge balcony and a huge bathroom. It was complicated to get to by car, but the personal went out of their way to get us there. I recommend this accomodation, there is no regret in choosing it.

• Guilherme (5/5): Passable - Our rooms were very comfortable and very clean. Our private bathroom was the best one we got in Tirana, it was renovated, spacious and clean. We had a nice balcony where it was very nice to hangout. Despite what it says on the booking page, this rental does not include a full apartment, only a couple rooms and a bathroom that is private, but in reality is accessible to everyone. The building's main door is always open, so the only separation between you and the street is your bedroom's door. There are photos of a kitchen, but you don't get access to it, it's the kitchen of the hosts that are living just underneath you. The hosts barely speak English, so communication is very difficult, although they were very nice
• John (9/5): Comfortable apartment with outside space away from tourist area - Spacious apartment with windows and doors to patio with table and chairs, so lovely airy space. Washing machine and good shower. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Strong WiFi. We were able to keep our bicycles in the apartment. The apartment is about 2 km from historic centre, but an easy walk and you can also get to the castle via streets behind the apartment. It's nice to stay with the locals.

• Marine (9/5): Superb - The atmosphere of the district where the house is located, the house itself with the balcony, the warm colours ...All of that made our stay a very unique experience. The host were the sweetest persons, always here to help us. We could park our car in front of their house and could go to the old part of Berat in a few minutes walk. Thank you again for making us feel welcomed ! Nothing much, except maybe for the noise in the morning due to construction works close by. But it was 8:30am, and we were already awakened. The house bed mattress are also a bit hard (for me, but the persons with me found them very comfortable), but all in all the bedroom was nice and we could have a good night sleep.

• Marcell (10/5): Excellent - Everything. Kleo and her parents are amazing hosts, since first moment in the apartment we felt taken care of, rooms are spacious and clean, so is the bathroom. There is even a huge balcony/patio when you can hang out or smoke. There is a fridge which for small additional fee you can buy drinks from. We arrived a bit before time and we didnt had internet connection, but no worries! Our hosts were amazing enough to let their neigbours know about our arrival, so someone from the vicinity contacted them and in few minutes we were in our rooms. Apartment is located a bit far away from all tourist attractions but close to the bus station. Every message to our hosts was also answered almost immediately.
• Alewyn (9/5): Great Stay with friendly hosts. Just need to get a better shower head. - Spacious apartment. Beds were comfortable Water controlled shower head which makes the water pressure strong and showering becomes painful experience with little water coming out at a time.
• Kimberly (10/5): Perfect wee stay - Very clean, comfortable and spacious apartment set in a local neighbourhood. Parking was provided just outside and the kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. It was a short drive to town where we found free parking near the Gorica Bridge very easily, but we would have been able to walk it fairly easily too. There was AC and a washing machine available though we didn’t need either. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful and there were plenty of food options nearby.

• Fiona (7/5): Lovely apartment, but out of the main area of tourist interest. - Lovely clean apartment, with good air conditioning. We were given the ground floor apartment, which didn't have a balcony, but there was seating outside our front door. Initially we were a bit disappointed, but this meant that the apartment was relatively cool during our stay - our walls didn't get direct sunshine, and we escaped some of the 38 degrees heat. Located in a non-touristy area, so local shops were in good supply. Our host was on holiday, and although he was very good about communicating by whatsapp, we missed out on the personal contact mentioned by other reviewers. A bit out of the main area of interest (20mins walk to Gorica), but only 20mins walk to the bus station.

• Jolanda (10/5): Very nice - Very friendly people. Clean room and bathroom. Nice kitchen and couch. There is a washing machine. And a private parking place. Good airconditioning. It’s in walking distance of the center of Berat in a friendly neighborhood. It is also located at the foot of the hill with the castle. The first evening we climbed it by foot, which is more a sport activity than a leisurely walk. The last bit of the road to the accommodation is unpaved and narrow.

My stay in Vila EnSalv it was perfect. 15min from city center on foot also is 1st bus station near Vila to go the center for 5 min. Everything is clean , fresh with a peacful yard. Klea take care of our jorney within the Berat we went with Eno in Bogova is amazing place and then he took us to Tirana. He was wonderful boy and excellent driver. Thank you again Klea & Eno🙏🏻 , can't wait to come back next summer.

• Jagoda (10/5): Exceptional - Had some issues finding the place, but the host Klaeda is an absolute sweetheart. We send her a photo of where we were, and she came to pick us up. It was over all easy to drive to, would recommend if you are scared of driving and parking on steep tight roads. Berat old city is a 20-30 min walk away, but I rather have to walk a little than worry about my rental car. We needed a few things for the kitchen and got those right away. Klaeda also checked up on us during our stay. The apartment was nice and clean, well equipped. There are cameras installed by the front door, so you can feel secure. It was a little cold at night as we travelled in March, but we had AC to heat the place up and some extra blankets. Highly recommend!

The host was very kind and helpful with information about restaurants, she also arranged a laundry service for 5€/laundry basket. Good internet connection! • Daniel (10/5): Wonderful place amidst local neighbourhood - Klea and her family were amazingly friendly, attentive, kind, generous and helpful. Klea had contacted me even before I arrived, to made sure I was properly lead to their home. She speaks very good English and is very responsive on WhatsApp so there were absolutely no communication problems. The whole apartment has everything you need, equipped kitchen, spacey living room, large bathroom, and a bedroom. Everything is very clean and smells nice, the beds are comfortable, and the AC heating works well. Klea and her family were exceptional hosts, even for already exceptional Albanian standards. They gave me local olives, canned aubergines, and jam, helped and advised me on bus connections, places to visit, and things to do and see. The home is in a nice local residencial neighborhood without many foreign tourists bumming around. There is plenty of small commerce to get anything from local fresh milk and produce, coffee (goes without saying in Albania), small restaurants, shops, bakers, pastries, small supermarkets, a corner lady selling vinegar and mandarines. All the people I talked to were extremely friendly and would go out of their way to help me. It is about 15 minutes on foot from the bus station, and about the same distance from Mangalem, Gorice, and the upper gate to the Kalaja.

The apartment is in a quiet area, not the most touristic one, so you are closer to the local life. For four persons there could be one more chair, but you can also just take the armchair.

Unfortunately there were no restaurants or anything that sells food nearby, so either walking 15-20 mins or a quick drive with the car. All in all, we loved it there and would love to come back to stay longer! No coffee maker
