• John (9/5): Exceeded my expectations. - Wasn't aware of breakfast. Very clean, felt private, didn't see or meet another person during my stay, which was nice. (Even though I could hear them) Very easy to access front door/room The only slight inconvenience was the shared bathroom. Needed a shower and to get ready but was occupied. Wasn't a huge deal but would be great if rooms had private bathrooms

À part ça j’ai bien aimer oui Je reviendrais.

• Mary (2/5): Frustrating - I certainly would not recommend this establishment. - The room was clean and the bed comfortable. A mirror would be a good addition as this bedroom shares a common bathroom with two other rooms. La Vida is situated on the corner of two busy streets with no street parking. The single lane driveway provides inadequate parking. My car didn't fit on the driveway - I got a $70 parking ticket. The host was indifferent when I told him about this. The house rule to remove our shoes, leave them at the front door and walk up or down uncarpeted hardwood floors to our rooms is unreasonable and hazardous.

• Douglas (7/5): Like staying at home only cleaner. - It was a very clean property. It was every bit a guest house with shared washrooms and kitchen but it was inviting and comfortable. It felt like being at home. No hook for the wet towels and since it's an older house, the walls are thin, so sound travels well. The other gust were not noisy but they could be heard.
• Andrea (1/5): Do not stay here - Location was close to Fanshawe College Filthy. Holes in the top sheet with dirt smudges. Scuffed walls and grimy door frame. Baseboards hadn’t been cleaned in ages. There is no door handle. Just an electronic lock that looks like it was purchased on Amazon. I left after 5 minutes and booked elsewhere. Despite clear and detailed information to the accommodation contact, I was told that their cleaners had sent pictures that it was clean. Atrocious.

• laurence (1/5): Terrible , we could'nt stay there . Currenty trying to get a refund from Booking.com - nothing We discovered we had to share a washroom with 2 other rooms. The washroom was dirty with garbage can overflowing to floor and wet towel on sink. My wife refused to stay in those conditions and we had to go to a clean hotel. We are currently trying to get a refund but landlord and Booking are refusing .
• Harry (7/5): - The kitchen area upstairs was wonderful and bright and inviting. The room was nice enough. Bed was comfy. There was no actual door handle on the bedroom door. Just an awkward code locking box. It made it awkward sometimes. One of the towels had some hard spots. The inside of the door had some marks on it.... Needed to be wiped down. There was no actual real parking available. Basically, two cars could park but one would be blocked.
• Yosief (3/5): I deeply regret I booked - The room was clean. The person in charge was not welcoming and when I asked for assistance that was the worst answer I got. In the second night people were talking so loudly in the stairs which I couldn't sleep at all. I wish I slept in my car which would much better The bed was without bed sheets.

• Drummer611 (8/5): Good looking, clean and well located - Location was not so far away from downtown, street parking was easy. Price was decent, the look was modern and the appliances worked properly. The building has central heating/AC and our room was very cold. We couldn't change the temperature to our comfort without affecting the whole house and other guests' rooms (the host offered me to change the temp but decided not to). A single shared bathroom with the other guests was a bit tricky but it was okay.
• Glenda (1/5): I did not stay. When I arrived, I couldn’t get into the house and then once inside my room had been left dirty from the - The inside of the house appeared to be fairly clean. However, I did not stay after I arrived. I sent several messages and attempted to call to cancel as I was not at all Happy with my very dirty room. When I arrived, I had difficulty getting into the house. It was 35°c and I am a senior. I had to repeatedly call the landlord until I was given a code to get inside. Once inside, I opened my room door only to find that the room had not been cleaned since the previous person’s stay. There were no towels in my room or in the bathroom. The bed was unmade with dirty sheets, and there was garbage in the room. I was very disappointed and uncomfortable with the whole thing and I attempted to phone, email and text the landlord, but to no avail. I would like my money refunded ASAP. I had to find accommodation elsewhere and it was most inconvenient.

• Karen (8/5): Very clean, comfortable bed, shared bathroom a slight issue. - Parking was bit of an issue. Had to move our vehicles around at 10pm at night. One bathroom for 3 bedrooms might work ok as long as the first person in the bathroom at 0800 doesn’t take a 30 min bath at that time. As one of the guest did when we were staying.

I was little bit disappointed because me and my partner came here to attend very important meeting and we have to go without taking shower because it was not working. And it didn't get fix until we were there. There were not enough cutlery as well.

• Marie-elise (4/5): Cheap so don’t expect anything great. The pictures look much better than the reality. - It was rather cheap, and it had a kitchen. It was not very clean, the kitchen towels were old, dirty and stinky and no solution was found when I asked about new towels. The cleaning person had forgotten to leave toilet paper in my closet so I also had to ask about this, as well as the paper towels for the kitchen. I also had to call when I arrived there because I had not received any instruction to get inside the home. Communication was generally not great. I didn’t feel welcome.
• Lori (4/5): Disappointing - The indoor space was clean. The bed was adequate There was snow fall. The tenants who arrived before had tried to get in touch with the landlord to resolve the parking issue. The drive way and walk ways were covered in ice and snow. I could even park in the driveway at all... I parked on the street, at risk of my vehicle being ticketed or towed. The message I had sent was never responded to. The heat was not accessible renters. A blast of heat the one night. Then very cool upon my retin from work the following day.

Towels and Toilet paper and hair dryer provided. Great security. Bus stop and corner store right out front. Chris was super fast to reply to any questions and issues I had. Nothing to complain about really maybe some fresh paint on bedrooms walls?

• Helen (8/5): Self checkin and no staff to interact with. - Property only for AirBnB. Nice decor and comfortable bed. Corner of busy street and 3 guests sharing the bathroom is not conducive for business or working traveler 🧳
• Nina (8/5): We enjoyed it. - It was clean, well located for my purposes and affordable. There was only one bathroom for 4 of us in the property and no mirrors in our rooms. Since we all needed to get ready early in the morning it was a bit of a struggle.

• Nitin (10/5): Beautiful home stay and amazing host. Will definitely recommend. - Clean and tidy place. The only concern is the availability of the parking. Since I ain’t from the city and not aware of the parking regulations on the street. No one wants a hefty parking ticket of parked wrongly.
• Pardo (5/5): Comfortable but disgusting - The bedroom is complete and comfortable, you have the TV to watch some stuff and a very nice bed to stay, there is a good amount of lights and parts to put your stuff in, it is nice, comfortable and clean. The bathroom and kitchen were disgusting, we used the kitchen a couple of times to reheat the food we brought, and every time we did, we could see ants everywhere in the kitchen, that's awful! Also, nobody cared to clean the kitchen, there were food leftovers all over the sink and many dishes were dirty, there was also a lack of cutlery as there was only one fork for the number of people staying there, like seriously? Adding to that, I requested the bathroom to be clean when we arrived, it wasn’t, the floor was wet everywhere all the times which is a safety hazard for everyone staying, the mirror was dirty, sometimes the toilet was also dirty which made it very disgusting to sit on.

• Lynn (7/5): Good - Comfortable bed, was quiet, patio area is nice. Kitchen had supplies to cook meals if you want. The bathroom wasn't clean. I did not receive a code for the door, not sure what happened there. However, it was easy to reach someone.

• Aaron (7/5): It wasn't great but it was "okay". - The location was excellent for my needs in northeast London. All the basic things in the place were pretty good. I think the cleanliness needs improvement. The bathroom floors were full of hair from other people especially in the corners and on the bath mat. Many of the kitchen cupboard and drawer handles and the fridge and freezer handles had grease on them. I would have liked there to be a toilet paper holder in the bathroom as well. I also couldn't find any of the channels I like on the television like sportsnet, tsn, CBC, and global.
• Adalaide (10/5): Beautiful experience in a social setup stay - The Location was great enjoyed the fact the site is set up to encourage meeting others or being able to have full privacy. the rooms were stunning and well equipped for staying for more than one night and the tub in the shared bathroom was deep for soaking in. When the booking site was failing my host was kind enough to call and walk me through the guesthouse and how to manage my stay, as someone with an intellectual disability this was an amazing experience i will be booking with them again if I need to stay in London. Thank you for making my experience as a Bride's assistant super easy when away from the wedding 10/10 Room could have used a second table to set up a laptop for working otherwise I have no complaints.
