Ilija (10/5): Very comfortable apartment at good location, very good value for money and great hosts - Very comfortable apartment, at good location. Building is safe, has 24/7 security guard in lobby area. Copacabana beach 5 minutes away by foot, Ipanema also not too far, about 40 min walk, beach Vermelha (next to Sugarloaf mountain) also about 40 min on foot. Immediate area has multiple supermarkets and restaurants as well as souvenir and other shops, most of which are alongside closest route towards beach, then at the street where apartment is located, and along avenue Nostra Senora de Copacabana. Large double bed is comfortable and big enough for 2 adult people. Bathroom is very functional, has permanent hot water at shower at all times. A nice surprise was also a washing machine in bathroom, of which I wasn't aware beforehand, but turned out to be very useful during my 2.5 weeks stay. Nearby is also Leme hill with Fort Duque de Caxias at the top, which I recommend to everyone to visit, because of wonderful nature, view from the top, and plus it's free entry. Finally, my very special thanks to the hosts, Virginia and Tomas, who were very friendly, extra helpful, and available for any questions via Booing site chat and whatsapp. They speak English fluently, which was very important for me, as I don't speak Portuguese at all.
