Guest Reviews
- Camilla (9/5): Great place and nice location - Staff was very accommodating, close to everything we needed to go too would definitely stay again
- Sarah (3/5): Poor -
- Dawn (3/5): Poor - Nothing. Facilities all need updating. Stairs very steep. Worst place I have ever stayed Furniture was old and worn. Bedding was old. Didnt get into bed as place felt unclean. Didnt cook as again all felt worn and dirty. Even though it had been cleaned. Kitchen doors falling off. Drawers in bedroom didnt have handles on, electric cables coming out the walls. Couldnt use TV. Chairs on balcony area were disgusting. Bedding old and worn. Mattress lumpy.
- Richard (5/5): Ok not to impress very old - Close to. Transport and restaurant Need more information about internet, what is the code for tv no explication, only one fan working, no mention of 72 stair to go to the room very hard to bring luggage up , need extra towel. No mention of way to have heat.
- Mark (7/5): Cost effective for three ☺️ - The property was very basic which suited my group. Just needed somewhere to sleep and get showered in the morning so more than adequate. Kitchen facilities were useful but not required for us. Cost of flat between three was exceptionally cost effective for London. What’s not to like… if you’re visiting London why would you be staying in a flat longer than is required. If you want to laze around then maybe don’t stay here, but if you’re going to be out the whole time then great.
- Łukasz (8/5): Comfortable enough and well-located apartment, perfect for a few days' stay. - Quite a comfortable apartment for a few days stay with the family. Perfectly located - very close to the train station, close to some attractions (like British Museum and Sherlock Holmes Museum) and well connected to the rest of the city (underground, buses), to Harry Potter Studios (direct train from Euston to Watford Junction) and to Luton Airport (direct train from St Pancras International). There are many shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. The owner answers all messages very quickly (via Booking app). We've enjoyed our stay and recommend the place. The area is quite noisy. You can often hear vehicles with their sirens on. The metro passes directly under the building, which is noticeable. For us, it wasn't a significant inconvenience, but if someone needs silence, this is probably not the area.
Some elements of the apartment could be a little better maintained.
For us it wasn't a problem, but it's worth emphasizing that the apartment is accessed via several floors of narrow stairs.
- Amy (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - The location is near to key metro and train stations When we arrived the keysafe was broken, the balcony door did not lock (full size door that opened outwards so unable to barricade) and there was scaffolding around the balcony making it easy to access and the property was not secure. The property was not clean and the bedding was stained, the furniture was broken and the beds were broken / uncomfortable.
- Mariana (8/5): Fair - The staff was very polite and helpful. Answered our call for a safe environment and went over and beyond to help us.
Very good location if you are in transit.
The price was fair for the quality of the establishment.
Special thanks to Jay. The outside common stairway needs a good painting job. But that is has nothing to do with the apartment
- Virmani (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (1/5): Spoilt a trip to London for football & show for family. - The only good about this property was its location. The property had not been cleaned and beds still left from previous tenants when we arrived, the heating control systems do not operate so accommodation was freezing and very uncomfortable as the internal temperature was at 13/14oC. And to top it all off the owner said we broke a bed when in fact the bed in question was missing half the bed lats that should have been supporting mattress.
- George (5/5): Passable -
- Kirsty (1/5): Unsafe and felt like student digs - The location When we arrived, the staircase was filthy. It looked like student digs. We were given a key code number, and was able to use that number to accidentally get into the wrong flat! All doors have the same code and aren't all numbered/lettered so we gained access to someone elses property. We realised we were incorrect, went up to the correct flat, and it really was like student digs. We decided to not stay as my son in particular did not feel safe.
I tried calling the owner while i was there, no response. I aaked for a refund which the owner has said no to, and Booking.com have not completed their decision as to whether they will refund.
I have used Booking.com many times over many years and have never left a property. This was a first for me and we only left because it really wasn't safe.
- Olivia (9/5): Superb -
- Gretel (9/5): Superb - Perfect location. Close to St Pancras International
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Brandstrader (3/5): Won’t stay there again - The location was great The place stunk of mildew and the bathroom was wet when I first arrived. The bedroom window was cracked and the unit was very cold.
- Jordan (10/5): Exceptional -
