• Saran (4/5): Book elsewhere. - Key ok to collect. 7/11 downstairs TV did not work for 5 days. They only fixed it at the end of our trip. Also as this is part of apartments, and the apartment does not allow the rooms to be used as holidays motels, the security staff and swimming staffs dont treat these people properly. They are bit rude to travellers.

Staff attended the problem quickly Location isnt great, still distant from main places Towels were old and stained Kettle, washing machine all got stains and did not feel like to use It was hard to contact the property, their responses are so poor before getting to the apartment.

• Thomas (6/5): Prima appartement voor 4 personen met beperkte toegang tot het zwembad - Het appartement was prima kwam ruimte en op een redelijk goede locatie, net over de rivier van het centrum van de stad. Airco werkt goed en er zijn een koelkast en twee badkamers aanwezig. De toegang tot het zwembad viel tegen. Je kunt er niet op elke gewenst naar toe, maar je moet de toegang van tevoren aanvragen bij de host. Het zwembad is alleen toegankelijk tussen 10:00 en 17:00 en niet 's avonds. Deze informatie werd pas na de boeking bekend en is niet vooraf meegedeeld. Verder staan er boetes op het lopen met natte kleren of zonder bovenkleding door de gangen. Dit wordt ook pas achteraf meegedeeld. Wat verder tegenviel is dat de accommodatie geschikt is voor 4 personen: er staan 2 tweepersoons bedden. Wij waren met zijn vijven en een moest dus op een een los opvouwbaar matrasje slapen dat ook niet opgemaakt was.

Il n’y a pas de réception sur place : le check-in se fait littéralement dans la rue, via un contact WhatsApp qu’on vous envoie à la dernière minute. Ne vous attardez surtout pas devant l’entrée, car la sécurité vous demande de partir sans ménagement. Autre point très important : votre réservation peut être annulée à tout moment, même 5 minutes avant votre arrivée, sous prétexte de "problèmes techniques" ou autres motifs inventés. C’est ce qui nous est arrivé. Nous avons trouvé un autre logement dans la même résidence, et c’est là que nous avons compris le manège. Cerise sur le gâteau : à 1h du matin, quatre agents de sécurité sont venus tambouriner violemment à la porte pour nous faire un prétendu check-in de dernière minute. Expérience très angoissante en pleine nuit. Concernant la piscine, elle est accessible uniquement sur réservation (non précisé dans l’annonce), et elle est fermée le lundi. L’appartement, quant à lui, est juste correct pour dormir, sans plus. Si vous cherchez un séjour serein et sans mauvaise surprise, fuyez. Also, the bedding was comfortable. Long list: host was unresponsive by phone, email, or WhatsApp prior to our arrival causing a very long wait to get checked in; the apartment was generally dirty and in need of significant repairs; All 3 A/C units were leaking condensation on the floor and cooling poorly (one was repaired); the refrigerator did not cool at all; the laundry machine left our clothes covered in some crud; towel racks had fallen off walls; use of the pool was so restricted as to be very inconvenient

The day before I was due to arrive I received a message from the host saying I cold cancel since the place was under repair and not available. He offered a different place in the same building. It was a much lower quality than originally booked but we had to move after three nights. The AC didn’t work well in one bedroom. No consideration for our needing to move was made. The original place was ok but one bed was no more than a. Futons mattress on a platform. It was very uncomfortable

• Judy (10/5): Location is perfect - The location was perfect and minutes from the main square. The staff were always helpful when we asked any questions. The size of the apartment we stayed in was huge!
• Joanne (4/5): Would not recommend. - Liked- location, having the freedom of an apartment rather than a hotel room when travelling with children, good air con, pool was ok. Disliked-lots of it was a bit grubby, crockery, cutlery and glasses were dirty and one glass was cracked, very hard and uncomfortable beds, security staff were unfriendly. Need to know-this is a privately owned apartment, there is no reception desk and nowhere to check in. You are relying on the owner meeting you (which is problematic if your phone does not work in Vietnam). The security guards outside the apartment were rude and told us to leave. We repeatedly rang the phone number on the booking and there was no answer.

It was dirty, the kitchen was falling apart, no pots or pans or plates or anything. You had to request half an hour before you could get to the pool. • Thom (4/5): All together did not meet our expectations and therefore disappointing. Would not recommend staying here after our exper - The location is nice and apartment is spacious. The first apartment we got assigned did not look like the pictures at all. We had to stay there for a night before they moved us to another apartment that met the description. We were offered a small refund but not much in comparison to this issue, they should have waived the fee for that night. The apartment itself is not super clean as you would expect. There were no major issues but it doesn’t meet the description in terms of kitchen and washroom. There is a 3% additional charge if you want to pay by card. This is not mentioned anywhere. If you want to use the pool, you’ll have to let the staff now before hand. The pool is very crowded as it’s for the entire apartment block, so you’ll have to go early if you want to have a relaxing swim. There are very limited beds as well.

Security at the front of the building so it’s quite safe and secure. We found the linen (especially the linen for the futon) was dirty and we washed it again prior to using. The extra towels we ordered smelt like vomit, it was horrendous. Washed those straight away as well. Otherwise everything was great

The location is unbeatable—close to everything you need. To top it off, the manager was exceptionally kind and always ready to assist, making the stay even more enjoyable.

• Michelle (9/5): Pool & views are worth it - We have stayed in two different apartments here. Both with stunning views of the city/river & a balcony. Also with a washing machine so could wash clothes & hang outside to dry. One apt was fine. The other was gorgeous. Just presented differently. Wifi was easy to access. Easy to check in even after hours (ask for instructions before you fly if arriving from internationally & may not have connectivity). Travel tips: you will have seen people mention Grab. It’s like Uber for Vietnam. Suggest download app prior to arrival. From airport to apartment is ~10USD equivalent (paid in dong of course) Things to know: It wasn’t specified in the listing but paying by c card is an extra 3%. That needs to be either worked into the listed price or at the least clearly stated on the booking.com listing. The listing is for two double beds & a futon. There is a futon/foam mattress present but no bedding for it. Apparently if you want this, should request it ahead of time. Pool is lovely. But note open 10-7 (& need to register each time w concierge present). Not technically in District 1: it’s in District 4 if that’s important to know.

• Adibeli (7/5): Spacious with great views - but not quite in D1 & could be cleaner - The Host was extremely responsive, kind & helpful during our stay, going far beyond what's expected! The flat is spacious with all basic amenities (incl access to rooftop pool & gym) & yhe view from our 22nd floor apartment was stunning. The location claims it's district 1, but is really closer to D4, so it's a 10min taxi ride to D1. The room was only superficially cleaned with many many hairs of different length & textures all over the apartment...
• Larry (1/5): Terrible experience would not recommend this accommodation. - To be honest nothing. The name of the accomodation booked was not the name of the building so confusing to locate. There was no reception at the apartments & a phone call was required to meet with the person managing the apartment, who took around 10 mins to arrive. Not ideal after a a flight to wait in the heat. A 12pm check in was confirmed with the booking, & we did not get access to the apartment until 1.20pm. The apartment was basic, old & not very clean. There was no hot water for showers , the TV didn’t work & a phone call required to the person managing the apartment to give access to the pool area. Would not recommend this accommodation.

• Jade (9/5): Beautiful apartment in great location just outside the hustle of district 1 - Apartment was clean, great view, comfy beds, beautiful bathrooms, several minimarts downstairs, quiet and felt very safe. Found a row of street food including amazing Pho and noodles just around the corner as well as Maccas. 10min walk across the bridge to District 1 streetfood area south of Bui Vien. Very easy to catch grabs to get to other sites in district 1. Pool was amazing. The host, John, is very friendly and helpful The only thing that could have been communicated better was logisitcs around the pool and gym. It turns out we need to meet the host at the pool every time we want too swim (and residents only after 5pm), and only residents can use the gym. This meant on day 1 we were waiting at the pool for 1.5 hours to get in touch with the hosts. Once we worked this through, the host John was very prompt to meet us at the pool for the next few days.
